Ohio Basement Authority

All staff was professional, reliable, friendly. I had my dirt floor basement space waterproofed and encapsulated. The work crew of Stephen Forte, Arman Bernal and Drake Flood did a great job with all aspects of the work.

They corrected issues with insufficient drainage of water from downspouts by installing drains to release water much further from the house. Water had been leaking past the water main and ground loops for our ground source heat pump into our basement. The only issue was they didn’t include tamping, seeding etc. for where they trenched the new drain lines, so you need ti do that yourself or contract another provider.

The team that worked on my basement was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. They were on time with getting the entire basement settled so my refi could go through. This was a long process and they were very patient waiting to be paid for their work. Shout out to Nicholas Hatfield, Josiah Campbell, Zach Hoffman, Ryan Roberts, Lisa Fordyce, and Jordyn Crowley for a great team effort. I will recommend them to anybody needing basement work.

Brett, Josh, Derrick, and Breyten, were all very courteous, professional and friendly. They made sure everything was covered to protect from dust and did their best to keep the door to the outside closed when they were not going in and out, due to the brisk temperature. The finished product looks very professional and blends in well with the existing structure. This was a very extensive undertaking and I am very impressed they were able to accomplish in just 2 days! Did the job

I definitely recommend OBA. We had a tiny bit of water accumulate in one corner of the basement after a heavy rain last summer (â 21). Not wanting to ignore the problem, I contacted OBA for a free estimate. Daryl was out soon after and he was extremely professional and courteous. But what I appreciated most of all was his honesty and not pushy. We ended up taking advantage of every service they offer (water proofing, reinforcement of a slightly bowing wall, finishing crawl space, new sump, new outside drain). While Iâ m never crazy about such a financial commitment, I feel that it was well worth the investment. The actual crew headed by Miguel was just as professional, doing an amazing job. His manager Zach was extremely responsive, working around our availability after the job was mostly finished, to tie up some final details. Go with OBA. You wonâ t regret it!

Levi, Tommy and James did a great job. The work was completed efficiently and professionally, There was minimal disruption and they cleaned up the work area well. Very courteous and answered all of our questions; made sure we were satisfied with everything before they left, Great job!

I hired them to level parking pavement slabs and adjoining sidewalk in front of my garage. Ben O'Bryant and Alex Huy called prior to arrival, arrived on time and completed the work efficiently and professionally. Answered questions and explained the foam injection process as well as the warranty. Excellent job and thorough cleanup. Definitely would use them again!

Totally impressed with the OBA crew. Atilio, Bruyan, and Jose were extremely kind, thoughtful, and accommodating. They were so polite and nice to me. They called ahead. They showed up slightly before on-time. They set my expectations at every step. They were glad to show me what they were doing and talk me through the details. I never felt like they were in a hurry, but they were on schedule the whole time. The work is beautiful. I know… it’s just the basement, but seriously… they were meticulous and clean about their craft. I’m super happy with them and highly recommend them!!!

Tyler Gall came in for my yearly inspection and was quite helpful. He checked the system, adjusted my dehumidifier to a proper level and gave me good information on warranties. Basement Authority is a reputable company with great people

Took longer to complete vs what I was quoted. Some cosmetic damage during installation but was remedied relatively quickly. Final payment was collected from my wife before I had completed the final work.

Serg was our foreman, and his crew with Ivan, and Louis, they were all very professional, efficient, yet meticulous with their work, and they made very quick work of our job. Serg was very timely, and informative and kept us up to speed the entire way during the project, he also did a great job explaining to us what they were doing, and how to work our brand new sump pump. The price of the work was a little higher than another competition, but the quality far exceeds the extra cost. Highly recommend this company, and if you get a chance to request a crew, request Serg and his crew. Amazing workers and extremely professional.
