Overall, the project went very well. Everything was done in two days so we were without a functioning kitchen and any bathroom sinks for only one evening. The demolition of the old countertops and plumbing went very well. The installation of the new countertops also went very well. I was very impressed with the work of both the Cambria installers who worked very hard for about 6 straight hours to get the countertops and backsplashes installed. They also cleaned up nicely when they were done. The Reliable Cabinet plumbers also did a terrific job installing the faucets and the two vessel sinks as well as a new garbage disposal that we bought separately as well as the drain pipes. Everything came out beautifully and we are very pleased with the work and the results.
Description of Work: We purchased Cambria quartz countertops from Reliable Cabinets for our kitchen, master bath, guest bath and half bath. We also purchased a new quartz composite undermount kitchen sink and a standard white oval ceramic undermount sink for our master bath. We purchased two vessel sinks for the other two bathrooms and new fixtures for all of the rooms from a separate source but had Reliable Cabinets plumbers install them.

They started three weeks late and the bathtub squeaks. However, once the job was started it was done a timely and professional manner which is better than other contractors I have used.
Description of Work: They remodeled a bathroom for us.

Russ Heist, owner of Reliable Cabinets worked with us on designing a mud room "locker" system and a complete built in wall unit in our home office. He was knowledgeable and attentive. It took him a long time to get back to us with the design, but we finally agreed on design, materials and price. The design "experience" was tedious but okay. Then he had his "granite guy" come to do a template for the office. The guy was at our house for 5 minutes. He did not template the design or the area, just took basic tape-measured measurements. I didn't know that a template consisted of more than that (as I found out from another granite installer). It took several days to install the cabinets. The day of the granite installation, things were moving along. Then I heard a horrible noise coming from the office. We had just completed building our family home and the granite guy was sawing through our drywall - the ENTIRE LENGTH AND WIDTH OF THE GRANITE. Because he did not template (to save time and cost) the granite did not fit the space - on any of the three sides of the wall that it hit. I freaked out and called Russ. I wanted to stop the entire install and have him template the correct way, order new granite, and install. When I confronted the granite guy he became belligerent with me. I called my husband and he spoke with Russ. We ultimately had them complete the work and are not satisfied with the end result at all. Also, in an interest to save money, the granite installer cut the granite pieces so that the pattern instead of going in the same direction, is perpendicular to each piece. Very easy to spot, looks terrible. With respect to the cabinet installation - The first evening the installation team said that they were not going to be able to complete what they had expected and so would leave with a portion of the cabinets. Which, in transit, was damaged and took another several weeks to "redo". The actual cabinets look good and we are pleased with the quality. We asked the cabinet-maker himself (who did the installation) to do some extra work for us as well. He was very good, very qualified and very nice to work with. It is our understanding that he generally does not do the installation of his cabinets. So, if you go with Russ, make sure you know who you are getting to do the work. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone.
Description of Work: custom cabinets installed in our mud room - wall of lockers/open cabinets at garage door entrance custom cabinets installed in our home office - complete built-ins across the entire wall and a perpendicular "island"/desk/workspace coming out seven feet.
