+ 0 moreThey drilled holes into our ducts that have never been drilled before. They found about a foot of debris that included lots of fiber glass. They cleaned the ducts very thoroughly. After the work was completed, my daughters, who coughed before the work was done, had stopped coughing, which is a sign of good work.

+ -1 moreThey were able to come the same day I called, and arrived earlier than scheduled. They carted away the debris removed from my vent. The price I was quoted on the phone was $125, but the final bill was $133. I wish the quoted price had included whatever taxes and fees were tacked on.

You should always ask them what is included in the special before they come to your home. They did do a good job overall. I was just surprised of the higher prices when they got here.

+ -1 moreExcellent experience. All calls were returned promptly. A quote was given over the phone prior to making the appointment. Reps were here on time. They said it would take @ 2 1/2 hours and it did. I felt they were thorough and did a great job. I notice that since the cleaning my house seems to get cooler quicker - I don't know if it's just coincidence or not. I put this company on my favorites list. By the way - the hot water tank is next to the furnace, so the fan accidentally blew out the water heater pilot. They came on a Friday and I didn't realize it until Saturday morning. I tried to relite the pilot and it didn't work. I called. They talked me through it and it lit (I had to use a bic lighter instead of a match). They said they would send someone back in case we couldn't get it lit. But it worked. I'm happy!

+ -1 moreThey two people who came, Shawn and JR, were both very professional, polite and did a good job checking and covering all the parts of our home heating system. When the basic job was completed, they vacuumed all areas that they worked in to be sure to leave the home as neat as when they started.
Description of Work: The cleaned all upstairs and downstairs (two systems) air registers and air returns of accumulated dust, dirt, lady bugs (!), etc. It took about 3.5 hours to complete the process.

Patrick Frazier was pleasant and provided a quote both over the phone, and then sent it to me in writing. He explained in detail why he thought he was the best in town and after a number of phone calls to some competitors I was indeed convinced! Even though he was not the least expensive, I felt he was more professional, and I felt more comfortable hiring them (plus all of the positive and glowing reports from Angie's list!) The men who came to our home were very polite, friendly, and professional. They covered their feet immediately and went right to work. They explained the process in detail, answered all of our questions,and completed it without incident in the time they said they would! I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: Rick and Shawn came to my house and cleaned air ducts and dryer vent after an oral estimate from the owner a few weeks earlier.They did a fantastic job, vents were spotless afterwards, they were very neat and clean and gave good advice about keeping the heater filter up to date. They honored my coupon from Angies list and were exact to the estimate given over the phone. Super nice guys, excellent work, very efficient and pleasant.I would hire them again, I have a multi pet household and wish I had done this sooner. Now when I put on the heat there is no dust smell from the vents.From start to finish a really good experience.

We realize Mighty Airducts Inc was already on Angie?s List and would still recommend Mighty Airducts Inc to our relatives and friends in need of this specialized service.
Description of Work: Because of a poor environmental condition affecting my health, it was necessary to seek professional assistance in rehabilitating our home. Forty years of cigarette smoke had accumulated rendering the home inhabitable for non-smokers. The second step in our rehabilitation program was having the furnace ducts cleaned. I consulted with Mike Nolan of Nolan Maintenance, the company I use for keeping my furnace in good working order and he suggested Mighty Airducts Inc. I contacted Mighty Airducts Inc and talked to Kim who I learned was a part owner. She provided all of the answers to my questions said a crew would be available at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 24. As I was looking out my kitchen window at 10:45 AM on the appointed day, there was a huge Mighty Airducts Inc truck backing into my driveway. Shawn introduced himself and described what would occur the rest of the day. He was thorough in his description and assured us of a satisfactory result. He and his helper proceeded to move the large diameter piping into the house first laying down a removable protective floor covering. Once the vacuum system was in place and operating, Shawn and his helper started o the second floor worked down to the basement. Any holes or duct opening made were discreetly plugged and closed. The workmanship was outstanding. The work was finished at about four o’clock.

+ -1 moreI was impressed with the machinery and the work that they did, but within about six to nine months there was more dust all over the place. Apparently I need to have my air ducts cleaned about two times a year. The price seemed to be too high for the results that I got, however I will admit that I am not familiar with the area so maybe I do need to have them come out twice a year.

+ -1 moreThey scheduled the date, sent us a reminder card and arrived promptly. They covered their shoes and went right to work. All ducts were individually cleaned and everything was put back and clean when they left. At our son's place they had to wrestle with a pipe located in the back but were successful in getting to it. Again, everything was done carefully and they cleaned up after themselves. They also told us we would not need service again in the house for 8 to 10 years and in the condo for 5 years. That was very honest of them!
Description of Work: Cleaned the ducts for the air conditioner in our house removing lots of building material and insulation that we didn't know had accumulated. Cleaned the furnace and airconditioning ducts in our son's condo on the same day. Did one right after the other.
