I called for an estimate and Mike quickly returned my call and came out and did the estimate (within 1-2 days). He had other jobs scheduled for the week days and I didn't expect them to do the work for several weeks. He called and said he didn't want the work to wait given some of the windows had bad damage and came out that Saturday. Mike and Phil came out early Saturday morning and worked through to maybe 9pm (it may have been later). Mike had jobs scheduled through the next three weeks but didn't want to leave the job unfinished so he came back on Sunday morning and finished the work on the door himself. I was surprised that they were able to complete the work the same week in which I had gotten the estimate (estimate dated 5-8 and work completed 5-13). The actual windows will need to be replaced in a few years and I plan to call Mike and his crew again because they did such excellent work.

Radiant did a wonderful job of replacing a large window on the front of our house in Dember 2011. There was no question that we would have them back to do some additional work this Spring. The entire job couldn't have gone better. The material is superb as is the workmanship. We couldn't be happier with the job.

We had eight dfferent companies look at our project and give us bids. We felt Radiant offered the best product and service for the money. Everything went well from the initial contact, measuring, quoting, removal of old windows and doors, installation of new windows and doors through clean up upon completion of the project. Mike was prompt and professional. He is very knowledgable about windows and doors and how they are installed. No long winded sales pitches and "special" deals, just facts about the product with simple honest answers to all of our questions and a good price. The contract was very clear with no fine print to worry about. With all the reseach we had done we knew installation was just as important as a quality window and door. It was obvious Mike knew what he was talikng about and a discussion with a previous customer verified his installation crew understands everthing about windows and doors and how to install them. They were prompt, courteous, efficient and very detail oriented. I know the other reviews say the same thing but it is something you have to see to really appeciate. The trim and caulk workmanship is amazing.

Our home had Pella windows that were forty years old; they had performed beautifully until the last several years when the seals failed and moisture became a real problem causing rotting wood and mold in the wood. We looked into repairing them, but window technology has advanced so much that it would have been a waste of money even if it were possible. We researched quality brand name windows including Renewal by Andersen, Window Pro by Marvin, and Pella Windows. Frankly, we were shocked by the total cost for our project. Also, their warranties were not very impressive. I found Radiant Windows on Angie's List. I went to the Radiant Windows website and I knew immediately that I wanted to get a quote from Mike Shadoan. When I read about his educational background working as an engineer in the window industry I was very encouraged. I thought, "This guy should know windows!" And he does. He came to our home and showed us the Sunrise vinyl casement window. It has many excellent features and is one of the highest rated windows on the market today. It definitely has the very best warranty available. What surprised us most was the wood-like appearance of the vinyl; it looks like real wood, not vinyl. We had intended to replace our windows with wood windows but we changed our minds after seeing the Sunrise window. The vinyl windows we purchased blend with our existing baseboards and window casements. Although we purchased "replacement windows", we did not end up with "smaller" windows. The area of the glass is the same as the original windows. These windows are absolutely outstanding. The windows are easy to operate with a fold-down crank handle. The screens are so sheer that it is hard to tell they are there. Love that!! We have noticed that the house is quieter with these new windows. Time will tell what the effect on our utility bills will be. I expect lower cooling and heating bills when compared to the old windows. The bottom line is this: We will be paying for these windows for years to come. That is just the way it is with major home improvements these days. We will be paying for a top quality product that should stand the test of time. We gave our business to Mike Shadoan who owns a company that operates with integrity and reliability. It appears to be a win-win situation for everyone.

From the first telephone conversation, Radiant Window's Mike Shadoan was polite, concerned and totally professional. He presented three alternatives with his suggestions. He explained in detail what the issues and problems were and how he would fix them. I feel the cost was more than reasonable and am very pleased with the results and confident that the problem is solved. He gave me options at every step, explaining his reasoning. He said there were carpenter ants infesting the rotted wood and gave me options for that problem as well. He turned a potential nightmare for me into an inconvenience. I have never been more pleased with service from any company. Setting up initial appointment was simple. Mark came in and was knowledgeable and professional. I received three other estimates that were not too far off this one, but I felt most confident that they could handle the job. We took out a large picture window and replaced it with a bay window. The other companies I received quotes from all seemed unsure about this part of the job. Mark from Radiant had a few questions, but commented that they had done this sort of work many times prior. Day of installation went smoothly. They arrived on time, finished all the window replacements and the bay window in one day. They cleaned up. There were 4 or 5 workers, all were professional. All the windows are great. I think the bay window, in particular, is gorgeous and adds more value to our home than its cost (it turned our kitchen into an eat in kitchen). It was a wonderful experience overall from start to finish. I'd recommend the company to anyone!

As well as the first job in the fall. Workers were courteous, friendly, and professional. They cleaned up after themselves when finished, and we were left with a stunning new look in our bathroom.

I was absolutely delighted with this company from start to finish. Because of my custom rebuild, I had 7 estimates on this job. Only 3 were even willing to try to fix my problem, and Radiant Windows was one of only two who gave me the confidence they had the technical skills to pursue it. The owner and primary builder came twice to look at the problem and discuss and price solutions, and the price was extremely reasonable for the complexity of the job. I had to wait less that the estimated 8 weeks, and the major construction took only 1 day, with a few more for the finish work. My house was kept immaculate the whole time, and the quality of the work is beautiful - what they put in is so much nicer than what i had previously. I was very concerned, since the window/skylight system they replaced was a key architectural feature of the house, but their solution is gorgeous. The quality of these windows is very high, and the owner helped me choose upgrades that for a reasonable price are absolutely wonderful. They answered all my questions swiftly, were easily reachable by phone, and worked with me on the finish questions, especially around matching the interior woodwork. By far the best contractors I've ever worked with.

Mike worked with us to try to find solutions that would meet our needs while being affordable. The price was much better than Anderson, worse than others. However, I definitely feel that we got our money's worth. Mike and his crews were punctual, professional, and did quality work. They dealt with the unique challenges presented by an old house. When one of the window screens came with a small cut in it, Mike had somebody bring a replacement. The Radiant team tried to preserve as much of the original woodwork as possible. The windows and doors look great, and there's no longer a breeze in the dining room! Even my father was impressed with the quality of work.

First of all, I am very thorough & analytical when evaluating major purchases. We considered 8 vendors and selected Radiant Windows. The only quote higher than this one was for fiberglas windows, all others were for vinyl windows. The owner of Radiant, Mike, conducted the most thorough initial visit, personally performing all measurements to confirm his price estimate, which did not change upon completion of work. The installation was scheduled in advance, as his products and services are in high demand. Mike said that his work primarily comes from word-of-mouth and Angie's List. He did not participate at the local Home & Garden show earlier that year. Mike provided numerous references, several in my community, and one who we knew personally. Mike carefully described his products and the quality of his product, which we confirmed with both brochure comparisons and internet searches. Mike also took time to visit my community architectural review board to confirm that we could have installed the ornate sidelights we wanted with our new front door. We were also impressed with his description of his window installation process, describing both the labor steps and the materials used. Everything Mike said came true! His installation team was very friendly, professional, thorough, and cleaned up very well. We are thrilled with the outcome of the window installation! Mike took the time to walkthrough each window once the job was completed to confirm that each window looked perfect. I strongly believe that, in most situtations, you get what you pay for. The price difference between this product, and our 2nd choice, looking across the remaining years we expect to stay in our house, is nominal. Mike provides a lifetime transferable warranty for parts and labor, providing additional value for when we will eventually sell our house. We have received numerous compliments by family & friends who visited our home during the holiday season. I expect lower utility bills as evidenced by our lower themostat settings so far this winter season. They are excellent and we are more than happy with their service. I think they buy their windows from a local source. They provided very good service and they were very clean. They vacuumed everything when they left and the windows are great. They really do wonderful work and I actually recommended them to another person that brought regular windows from them. They came out with the estimate and showed us the selection of what we could have and explained the difference in them. Initially, I wanted the sliders with the blinds between the glass, and he said that those are available but it doesn’t give high heat saving rating and we wouldn’t qualify for the energy credit. They had a nice selection of handles. When they came, they were very professional and clean. I was impressed because they vacuumed the place. I have no complaints with them, their price was very reasonable and they cleaned up when they were gone. I wanted to see if we actually saved on our heat and we did. We are going to use them again because we need to put 6 foot slider doors for our patio, and replace the doors on our living room, family room and dining room.

Mark was on time gave us a good deal, there work was the best in seen.

Even working in miserable on again, off again rain, Mark and Tim did a great job on the project and left the house as clean (or cleaner) than when they started. Their finish work was very nice, and during the process it was discovered two odd-shaped windows above the main window were bad and leaking water into the house. They did what they could as a temporary fix and we will have them replace these two windows soon as well.

The estimate was painless and Mark was very knowledgeable. The installation and the windows were definately first rate. They worked with us on the installation date. They took extra time capping the windows correctly since the previous windows were not. They trimmed the interior of the windows with wood trim not plastic. Clean up was very good. This company earned their A rating and is a must call if you are thinking about windows.

We chose Radiant because of previous work they have done for us. We did not shop around because we were extremely pleased with the products and service provided. This time we purchased a new entry door and storm door for the rear entry. We ordered the doors in August 2011 and were told that there would be eight weeks to delivery and it was just on the dot. The installers arrived at 8:30, as promised, and went right to work. The installers were professional and answered all our questions. The installation was more complicated that we expected but all went well and both doors were installed by 3pm. Through no fault of the installers, they were unable to key the lock to match the other entry doors but they said they would send someone around to rekey the door. No air leak was detectable. After they left, we discovered that the installed door hardware was not what we ordered and called Mike and left a message. We did not receive a response in three days so we called the office number. Mark called us back the same day and apologized for the problem. He came on November 9, 2011, replaced the hardware, and re-keyed the lock. We are very happy with the products and service provided by Radiant.

What a wonderful company! I can't say how perfect they were. We had 22 windows installed in our Stow home last week (100 year old home with the world's oldest windows!!!) The windows are great but the installation team was even better! We had a team of 4 that drove 2 hours just to get here each day and even after that trip they were so sweet and nice and on time both days. They were so professional and worked so well together it was the best money we ever spent. Their clean-up was outstanding!! Plus we have quite a few construction friends that were giving us grief that "we could install the windows ourselves etc" that have come over to "inspect the finished work" and have unanimously confirmed the installation and finishing work they did was extraordinary and not one of our "inspectors" had a negative finding of any sort on the inside or outside work. I found Radiant via research on reviews and it doesn't take a braniac to figure out that since they have had so MANY positive reviewsand now just another added to them makes it a no brainer that if you are looking for the best company in NE Ohio you should look no further go with this company and have the best experience ever well worth the money. From the original estimate to completion this job could not have been done any better. The new window is superb quality. The window and installation are warrantied for life and are transferable to a new owner. Mike and his guys arrived exactly when they said they would. Care was taken to protect areas outside and inside of the house during installation. The removal of the old window and the installation of the new could not have gone any smoother. The trim work on the outside and the inside is superb. All debris was hauled away and all areas inside and outside involved in the job were thoroughly cleaned. We simply put the furniture back. Radiant demonstrates the highest professiolism and we would not hesitate use them in the future.
