Ruggs Pest Management

I used this company last year and had a good experience. This year I had difficulties scheduling; I am currently a full-time student, and work full time. After missing each others phone calls, we finally were able to speak. I talked to the owner of the business Rick Rugg. He was very impatient with me, told me, "I can't talk right now, I am with a customer!" (he called me). He then proceeded to call me a "pain in the ***" and told me to go someplace else. I was mortified, and would never speak to anyone, let alone a customer in this manner. Quite frankly, he scared me a little, and I wound not want him anywhere me, my pets, or my home.

I have a spider problem outside of my home and this business was supposed to take care of it. They sprayed pesticides but the spiders wound up coming back with a vengeance a couple of weeks later. I expected that they would be able to come back and spray a second time to get rid of them, but when I requested this, the owner became very rude with me and would only do it if I paid for a complete treatment again although the first one did not work. I own a small business myself, and I would never think to speak to a customer the way he spoke with me. He was incredibly rude. He won't stand behind his work. I have never heard of an exterminator who will not come back for a second application if the first one does not work. I called him back a couple of weeks later to try to get him to take care of it, and he got fed up with me and said he was done and would refund half of my money. I called back 10 days later to follow up on the refund he claimed he would give me, informing him that if he did not do something to take care of it, I would take him to small claims court. He returned my call furious and cursed at me saying he would never refund anything to me.

He came when he said he would, and performed the necessary service. I hadn't used him in a few years, but have known him most of my life. Class guy

Rick is very prompt, when he says he is coming he will be there. He is always courteous, nice and give excellent explanations.
