Excellent! We are VERY pleased! At first, we were concerned about the cost and had decided to go with another less expensive contractor; especially when we were quoted a high price for a design. But, Steve Pattie continued to stay in touch and gave us a detailed design for less. I don't know if the original design quoted would have been done differently but we got wonderful drafts and layered designs drawings. He also brought labeled photos of the plants and trees he planned to use. We also paid for a design by another company which would also have been a good choice, but Pattie's design was much better - more detailed, a much better use of the space and in our opinion, more beautiful. Steve Pattie is extremely knowledgable and explained how he made all his choices with consideration for color in all the seasons, for our frequent deer visits, for ease of maintenance (an important consideration!), for cost and for drainage. We have drainage issues that had to be incorporated and he did that beautifully. The other companies we spoke to did not have nearly as much knowledge and we had already lost trees due to drainage issues beyond our control. It was important that we not invest large amounts in the yard only to find out later that the drainage was compromised and now yet another problem. So, we were very secure that Pattie Group would handle it properly and they did. He also made us very comfortable discussing budget and future care of the yard. I feel completely comfortable calling them just for small jobs that we don't want to do or for advice on jobs we will do ourselves. The plant material they planted - shrubs, groundcover, trees and perennials are top rate quality - just beautiful. One of the trees - a spruce - quickly became a favorite! The steps were a surprise - so much nicer than I ever expected. During the job, the workers were very nice, professional, and thoughtful. The foreman took care of all our questions, concerns and any changes and was supported by a Project Manager. Phone calls were always easy. The work took place very quickly and they left our home tidy and neat every time they left. They were polite; always asking if they needed to leave equipment for the night and when told I needed the trucks in front of my home but not my neighbors; they quickly and cheerfully moved the vehicles. When an error was made regarding our estimate, Steve Pattie also absorbed the additional cost. They have even come back to check on the job. I just can't say enough about how pleased we are with the Pattie Group. I LOVE our yard!!!

I have a terrible impression of "The Pattie Group". If you look at their website, they are a big company. However, I would never even consider giving them a dime to do the work. Nick Marrali was rude and condescending. Clearly this firm only works on large budgets and big homes and projects. I guess they should have told me that when I called versus trying to sticker shock me out of hiring them!

During the period of time in which we were still soliciting bids and coming to a decision, Steve kept in touch (without being pushy). Though we chose to perform snow removal ourselves, I would certainly look into using this company in the future if the need arose.

I was amazed at how well the job went. The group did it in a single day and other than the fact that it took some time for the new grass to come in, it looks as if the yard was originally designed that way.

They do a good job but they are very expensive. The above cost is per year.

This company was superb. In the first place, we called them at one of the busiest times of the year - with an urgent need that was extremely time-sensitive and in spite of their full schedule, they quickly responded, sent a representative out to assess the job and give us an estimate, and then we were given a verbal assurance that the job would be completed on our timetable. And it was. All work was completed on time and performed with extreme care and, quite frankly, artistry. Compared to the flat turndowns and, in some cases, insulting refusals we received from a number of firms, the Manager at The Pattie Group went out of his way to be of help. We are extremely pleased with the excellence with which the work was performed and with all aspects of their service. We feel that the cooperation and extremely high level of quality was entirely in keeping with the amount charged. We would recommend this company without reservation.

We were very pleased with the design that the Pattie Group did for us. It was beautiful and incorporated all the elements we asked for. We got sticker shock, however, when we looked at the prices for installation. We subsequently had other companies do the installation, and it is now a beautiful landscape.

NICK, THEIR SALES EXECUTIVE, WAS EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL. THIS COMPANY IS TOP NOTCH & EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE. PRICES ARE HIGH BUT YOU KNOW THAT YOU WILL GET QUALITY HERE. I AM HOLDING OFF UNTIL SPRING TO DO THIS WORK, BUT THEY WILL STILL BE IN THE RUNNING FOR THE JOB.

WE HAVE HIRED THE PATTIE GROUP IN THE PAST AND THEY ARE GREAT. VERY PUNCTUAL, HIGH QUALITY WORK AND THEY LEAVE THE YARD SPOTLESS.

I WAS DELIGHTED WITH THE ORIGINAL DESIGN OF THE GARDENS. HOWEVER, WHEN IT CAME TO PLANTING, I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE REALIZATION OF THE PLAN. FINDING SOMEONE TO BE RESPONSIVE TO MY ISSUES HAS BEEN A BIG PROBLEM.

THEY WERE VERY PLEASANT TO DEAL WITH. HOWEVER, THEY ONLY DO BLOWN IN MULCH (WE WERE LOOKING FOR A DELIVERY OF 15 YARDS OF MULCH THAT WE WOULD APPLY OURSELVES).

THIS IS THE 3RD YEAR WE HAVE USED PG EXPRESS AND I HAVE RECOMMENDED THEM TO MANY PEOPLE. THEIR QUOTE HAS ALWAYS BEEN ABOUT HALF WHAT LANDSCAPERS QUOTED.

VERY NEAT & CLEAN WHEN THEY LEFT. OUR YARD LOOKED PERFECT.
