Inspeyered Tree Service LLC

Approximately three weeks ago I called Inspeyered Tree Service and left a message on their answering machine that I had two trees I needed cut down. Mike Speyer called me back the next day and we arranged a meeting for the following day. Mike came to the house, inspected the trees and gave me an estimate that was $160 less than my next best estimate. I told Mike he had the job and he said he would call me back within two days to inform me of when he would do the work. One week went by before he called me. He called while I was at work and in a business meeting, therefore I was unable to take his call. He did not leave a message, but I expected him to call again with the information. I called him the next day and got his answering machine. I left a message apologizing for not being able to take his call and asked that he call again. Approximately another week elapsed and he finally called me on a Wednesday. He said that he has had some equipment problems and that he would call back when the problems were resolved and he would then be better able to give me a date when he could remove the trees. I asked that he call me on Friday (two days later) to give me a status update. Mike said he would. Friday came and went - no call. The weekend came and went - still no call. I waited until late Monday afternoon, but still no call from Mike. I then gave up and called another tree company, who came out the next day and removed the trees. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Inspeyered Tree Service if you are on a schedule for any work to be done at your house. I was delaying having roof repairs done pending rermoval of the trees. This delay has caused a severe negative impact to the schedule I was on and to the schedule of the roofing company. Inspeyered Tree Service is NOT dependable and does NOT follow thru with what they tell you. I am surprised they have the rating they do on Angies List. My rating for them is a solid 'F'!

Mike, who is a certified arborist, showed up same day for an estimate, had his crew out a few days later. They removed some very large trees in front and back yard, chipped, ground down the stumps, cleaned-up after themselves. I also cut down 40+ small trees in the back that they chipped and hauled away. We asked Mike to provide us with the wood chips for a playground set, though when it was discovered that there were too many long and sharp pieces/sticks, he figured out a way to come and remove the massive pile from our driveway. Total professional - Would hire again and recommend to anyone. Will have more work for them in the near future.

Contacted Mike to request an estimate on trimming 7 pine trees in my yard. He returned my initial call promptly, letting me know that he was expecting and might not be available in the next couple of days but he encouraged me to call back to schedule a time. I called back and left a message, telling him that I understood he'd be unavailable and to call me when he could come out. We were not in a hurry. I never heard back from him.

I contacted Mike via phone asking for a review and quote. He called back within a few days and came out on a Saturday and reviewed our trees (7). He provided a quote via email (in PDF form) the next day. I replied with changes to the quote and he quickly updated the qoute and re-submitted it for review. We communicated via email to coordinate the date of the trimming. They arrived on the agreed on date around 9am and began a tree feeding process and trimming. The finished up in the afternoon. They cleaned up the yard and left no debris. In fact they even cleaned up a pile of wood/brush from a large broken branch that the city had trimmed earlier in the year that I had not had time to finish clenaing up. Mike reviewed the job when they were finished and let me know that he would put us on a list to follow up with in the Spring to see how one of our Silver Maples was doing - it may need more attention next year. They were efficent, curtious and professional. They will be the first people I call the next time the trees need anything.

Mike is a nice guy. He returned my call promptly. Showed up to appointment on time. After speaking with him, I didn't get other estimates because I felt the estimate was fair. They removed the trees that week. Work was done and cleaned up to our satisfaction. I would hire them again and will use them for any future tree work.

Mike Speyer was excellent. They did such a great job, that when the wind blows, I don't have any little limbs in my yard. They were in and out and cleaned everything up real nice.

They took down a very difficult tree on the side of a bluff. They couldn't use machines due to the area it was in. They coordinated with the metro parks to close our road and we were thrilled with their services.

All tree services were busy clearing damage from high winds compliments of Hurricane IKE. Two provided timely estimates. InSpeyered was not able to do so. In fairness to InSpeyered, the two competitors had fewer miles to travel to provide an estimate. I have no reason to believe that InSpeyered would not have presented a competitive estimate. I didn't have the opportunity to receive the estimate. ($700.00)

They pruned the apple tree but not the crab apple. I was disappointed that the job wasn't done the way it was suppose to be. He hasn't sent a bill yet and I haven't paid it!! I will when he returns my call and talk to me about what wasn't done. They did a good job on the apple tree but that wasn't all they were hired to do.

I called twice leaving a message, the second even asking that I get a call if he is too busy to take the job, and never received a call back. Then, I even emailed in hopes to reach him that way, and received no correspondence at all in return. Exceptionally unprofessional.

Mike Speyer inspected the tree and provided an estimate in later winter. The estimate was reasonable and competitively priced. The heavy snow and rains of spring twice delayed attempts to do the job, preventing Mike's crew from staring the job before early April. The crew arrived on time on the scheduled day, a Friday. They set up their crane and lift trucks, paying attention to prevent property damage. They removed the tree efficiently and without incident. The crew was careful, professional and friendly. Mike Speyer, the owner, supervised the work and provided me with ongoing updates on their approach. The tree was removed, branches chipped and the logs loaded for disposal in about 4 hours. The crew thoroughly cleaned up the debris and restored the property. Mike returned on Monday of the following week to complete grinding the stump. I found Mike Speyer, a certified arborist, to be professional, responsive and dependable. He returned my calls promptly and advised me of the impact the weather had on safely removed the tree. Mike did the right things to be sure his customers received proper, value-add service. I would recommend Inspeyered Tree Service to anyone. Definitely a great Angie's List find.

The job was done very professionally. They arrived on time and cleaned up when the job was completed.

The owner is very professional and returned my call promptly. The two men that came out were wonderful. They were very talented and even trimmed the tree in the pouring rain. I was very impressed with the company and i would definitely use them again.

Originally I called them back in April and I misplaced their estimate. They came back out again and gave me a free estimate of what I needed done.

He showed up on time to do the estimate and was able to complete the work within one week. His quote was almost half the cost of his competitor. This was a big job since we hadn't had any trimming done in almost 17 years, so the yard was totally covered in branches when he was done. Mike and his associate spent over an hour just cleaning up the yard. All areas were meticulously cleaned and swept when they were finished.

I also wanted the roots ground down, but they never came back out to do this. I tried contacting him several times to come back out to do the rest of this work and other work that I needed to have done, but they never contacted me back. He never billed me either, so I was never able to pay him for the work. He did a great job though.

We used Mike last year for trimming of our trees and called him back again this spring. He came out within two days to look at the trees and help us prioritize what had to be done. After I called him and confirmed our budget he and his crew were out the next day. Mike is great to work with and very knowledgeable. Additionally everything that was taken out of the trees was removed. I highly recommend.

They did really well. They cleaned up the debris and even worked in the rain. They did everything according to the price. Very professional. I was happy and I'd use them again.

We had a tree that needed to be removed. It was hanging over our and our neighbor's homes. We called Inspeyered and since they were in the neighborhood, they came out the same day and did the work. They did a nice, careful job and did a good clean up afterwords. We had them do some tree work for us before, and were very happy with that work too.

I called Mike to get a price to remove 1 tree in our front yard. He returned my call almost immediately. Within a day or 2, he came out and left a price. We decided to consider additional work, and Mike came out again to price the additional work. Mike agreed to work with/around contractors that were working the same day. The job took longer because the contractors were in the way more than anticipated. Mike never complained about that. Mike did a great job.

He did come and look at the tree and then I never heard from him. I even left a message saying to let me know if he wasn't interested and he never returned that call. I don't like being treated like that.

He came right out. He was punctual and professional. I would hire again and recommend to others. He is honest.

Despite reviews describing difficulty in reaching the owner, I called because I was interested in having an arborist take a look at my tree. I left a message on Monday, and apparently missed a voicemail on Wednesday that he would be in my area on Saturday. I just missed picking up his call on Saturday and IMMEDIATELY called his number back, but wasn't able to get him. I then left another message and never heard back.

I called 2 or 3 times. I saw their number on the caller ID but no response.

Very prompt service had left a message on ans machine, he called back very shortly thereafter. Did all of the work as requested, cleaned up afterwards
