Description of Work: Our 70 year old house with 30 year old addition had numerous dry wall/plaster cracks. Dan DeLauro and helper came on worst snow day of year. They spent 5 hours repairing damaged areas. Work was done very professionally and clean up afterward was thorough. We are very happy with the work and plan to use Dan and his crew again. His price was very fair for the amount of work done.

Description of Work: Hung 2 ceiling fans, fixed some wall plugs.

Description of Work: Switch to panel and line to attic. Ok. Boards were pulled and thrown to the side. boards should have been replaced. Attic access areas left soiled with 10-12 handprints on white drywall. |Clean up wiring outside junction box,. Box not attached to joist. Work not to code. Will have to be redone. |Original work rescheduled/no showed 3 times. |Invoice vague and did not reference angies list payment. Suspect contractor uses coupon as estimate fee because he wont put the payment in writing. Did not take any written notes of the specific work i requested. He wrote down measurements.

Description of Work: Provider said he was sick on 12/30 and would be better on 1/5 after new years. I spoke with Dan at length before Christmas and was told my job was easy and he would be in and out. Now on 1/5 he has forgotten who I was. I text him that my job needed done and he informed me I needed a gasket? Several hours later he finally got back to me and said I reminded him who I was and said my job was $65 per hour per man and would be way more than two hours. I told him I wanted a refund. We will never do business with this company.

Description of Work: Dan mounted a flat screen tv on the wall, and replaced an outlet. There was an error and I was billed more than I should. He offered to do additional work. Unfortunately he was only able to do half of the work that I wanted him to do. At some point I felt like I was scrambling to find work for him that he could accomplish. I almost wish I had asked for a refund instead. He did paint a fireplace screen for me which came out nice but that was an additional amount above the big deal. I am not sure if I misunderstood the scope of the work included in the BIG DEAL but I felt like I overpaid for what I did get. He left a small mess when he left. Just some dust and greasy fingerprints, but it did require cleanup.

Description of Work: work was done to my satisfaction, cleanup was done well the price turned out to be outrageous. The price I paid for the Angies list deal was $179 for 4 hours of electrical work. I had one new outdoor outlet installed and I existing outlet parts replaced. I knew Id pay for parts but they ran the bill up on time spent. They went over by about one hour. Way too expensive.

Description of Work: The crew painted a couple of rooms and a hallway. At the time I was extremely pleased with them. I, however, would not use them again because I asked for an estimate on other areas, the young man took the measurements with his camera phone, promised to call by the weekend, but never did. Therefore, I feel uncomfortable depending upon them for further work.

Description of Work: Excellent Job - (New kitchen flooring/sink replaced/two door sills replaced/hole in kitchen wall repaired where water pipe burst last winter) Dan Delauro made cost saving suggestions since our home will be put on the market next year. This was a great customer satisfier. |Contractor arrived on time and finished ahead of the projected timeframe. | |I did buy a coupon through Angie's List, but was unable to use it because it was not for repeat customers which was not explained at the time of purchase.

Description of Work: Replaced three outside post light fixtures, replaced a kitchen light fixture, and a dining room fixture which he had to put together. All went well as he was calm and knew what he was doing. I need a new ceiling fan in the kitchen and I will call him when I get the fixture.

Description of Work: I was hoping to have a couple rooms painted and bought the special for 8 hours of painting at $199. Well - because of what I wanted done (walls and 2 sets bifold closet doors) the first room took significantly longer than I thought it would. I do not think that is a reflection on the two guys that showed up. It was mostly that the doors required 3 costs before they looked good, tons of taping and cutting in because of the Cape Cod design of the room and and of course - drying time. Do not underestimate how long it takes paint to dry before you can get going on the next coat. | |The room looks great and I would recommend these guys or use them for another job later.
