Description of Work: Bought a big deal for a day of handyman work. Gave them a list. They were OK. Broke the door on my new oven trying to adjust the door so it would be straight. |Didn't feel like the owner was too pleasant to work with.

Description of Work: I bought a coupon which was for 4 hours of drywall or plaster repair in order to fix two- 1'x1' water damaged areas on my ceiling. When I contacted the contractor to set up an appointment, he very quickly started to explain how the job would take more then four hours, and additional hours would be at a rate of $65/hour. My father and brother are both drywall finishers so I am very aware that this job would NOT take more then four hours to repair. However, due to my apprehension, I scheduled an appointment for 4 days later. The contractor was a no show. He did not answer my call nor did he call back. I joined Angie's List to avoid contractors like this, however this seems to be more the norm these days.

Description of Work: We bought a "Big Deal" -- $1,499 for 40 hours, and we are very pleased with the renovation work on our bathroom that Den performed. Working with Dan was great from the get-go; he contacted us promptly upon our purchase of the deal, and visited our home within two days to take a look at our "to do" list. He offered an excellent recommendation on floor tile, which we followed. Once our tile had arrived, work commenced within just a few days. Dan and Danny were neat, competent and a pleasure to do business with. They installed a new tub surround, new floor (sub-floor and tiles), new fan, light fixture and medicine cabinet. All of this took us over the initial 40 hour purchase, as you can imagine and as we expected.

Description of Work: I had given a list of items I wanted to be done prior to the date of the service. I added a few small things to be done and the service men had no problem with me adding a few more items. They were prompt and efficient. I would use them again.
