Cancelled first appointment, showed up late for rescheduled appointment and did not work the full allotted time I paid for. Seemed in a hurry to leave did not want to be paid for extra time to finish project I had. Had to pay extra for "materials". I would never hire again even though the price was great. I will not give my information because I saw another review similar to mine where they weren't happy and Mr Delaurio had a nasty argumentive reply for them.

They did a geat job and cleaned up very well when they finished.

Although all issues were eventually resolved, one of the men who came left for about 2 hours in the middle of the work time ( was supposed to be 4 hours w/2 men or 8 hors w/1 man) . The man who remained told us they could install our new garbage disposal. Some time later that morning, the second man who had disappeared, then told my husband they don’t install disposals. After discussing, he finally agreed to return himself and install at no additional charge.

Great they showed up on time and worked really well. I'm very happy with the work performed.

Dan showed up on time and was quick and a very hard worker. Had some trouble scheduling dates, but we are very happy with the work that was done. Would use again.

ceiling fan installation went fine. refused to do exhaust fans - said he would get back to me with costs and never did.

They removed it but I had to remove some extra wood myself after I paid for the services with a coupon I purchased through Angie List for 4 hours of general service. They were there for 2 hours.

Good. Job pwesoes well, not enough time to sand down the final skim Coat to prepare , prep for painting but it's something I could tackle.

It went well... the time purchased did not allow for a final sanding down or prepped for painting. That could have been done at a nominal cost for the next day or so, but I should be able to tackle it.

Excellent work! Very clean, quality work. Cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely recommend to anyone. He stuck to the quote that he gave. He went the extra mile.

It went well, Dan was very professional. I am satisfied with what he did. However, I was unaware that I'd have to pay him $25.00 extra for caulking, I believe he said it was documented under the contract. I must have missed that one.

The jobs were all done completely and professionally. Cost was honestly conveyed to me at the beginning. No surprises or confusion. I was consulted and kept informed of each project as it was progressing during the day. For the first time in two years, my toilet doesn't run! This was AFTER I had paid another contractor to fix it.

He never showed. Numerous emails never followed thru. Every time I gave my availability, he would chose the times I wasn't available. Would say not able to make it. with no follow thru. This has gone on since 8/17/2017

My home insurance said I had to have the railing. He did a great job. He was really pleasant. It looks great. His responsiveness was very good. He is very personable. He was here on time, even though it was a rainy day. He had to leave because he couldn't work in the rain. He was easy to talk to and he wasn't stuffy or anything. He was professional. Yes, I would use this provider again.

Dan patched it up really nice and he took care of some other cracks that needed fixing. He also took care of a patch job in a bathroom!! He was very nice and professional👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 I'll probably ask for their service again!!!

They would not come out this far even thou their add said Lake county. So I did not use them.

They didn't do everything I asked for.

I had gone to a local (close) Sherwin Williams Paint Store to get some primer so that they could start right away. I had arranged with the local SW store to have painter pick up further paint and they would call me for credit card number (since I had to provide paint according to the ad) to charge paint to me. I trusted this local store. This did not make Dan DeLauro real happy. He wanted to go get further paint -- so I gave him directions to the store that I had made arrangements with. In about 15 minutes, he called me from a DIFFERENT STORE in the opposite direction. I asked why he was at that store. He said because it was closer (not really). I let it go and paid for the paint. Dan DeLauro then sent Dan 2 to do further painting, coming back on the day they finished the 40 hours. That day he went down to look at the basement which required extensive work (on list for painting). He came back up and said he would complete the rest of my list and in addition repair the ceiling ( ceiling really bad -- (no covers on lights and dents in tiles) -- for 1500$. To me that was perfect because I felt it was a good price and I had not known what to do about the ceiling. After another 10 minutes he came up from the basement again, to tell me that he had forgotten the steps. (I should have stopped right there and made him write it all down but I didn't). He later came up and said there were electrical problems -- that would not meet code. I said but you said you would fix the ceiling for me. He said but the lights were covered up (not a single light had a cover). I said to him -- You are a professional and experienced -- you should have seen that when you looked at it. Finally after further back and forth -- I said ok fix the electric but Dan -- I do not have a lot of money for this. He said it would not be much. I said ok and mentioned that I wanted treads on the steps which looked bad. He said he could do that. He put Dan2 to work and showed up some but mainly Dan2 did the work. After the steps were painted and before the treads were put down -- I looked at them and thought that he had painted over lumps. Dan 1 said it was old paint and he would scrape it off and repaint. Still not a good job on the steps. The next to the last day as I was working on my computer Dan1 came up and said the total would be 2700 - 2800$. This was almost double what he had said verbally he could do the painting and fixing for. I was shocked!! Angry!! and dismayed!! He did a dance about materials and electrical work and etc. Dan is a good talker -- never really admits fault. He will get the work done and it will look overall good!! But -- do not let him do anything unless you get it in writing and signed! Before I paid him, I requested a written accounting of why I should pay 2700-2800$ and all receipts. He tried to tell me verbally but I waited for the written accounting. I have paid him -- I really don't think, I would have him come back! I don't trust him. There was a little matter of the paint cans and old materials from ceiling. I had mentioned that my garbage people will not take paint cans. little problem over that but it got done. Also found old ceiling tiles stacked in back and front of my garbage cans after they finished the last day. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A WRITTEN AGREEMENT ABOUT EXTRA WORK AND ABOUT THE PAINT CANS AND DEBRIS.

Dan & Dan were punctual, professional, and productive. In addition to completing the tasks we'd previously discussed, they offered feedback and gave estimates on a few larger tasks we're considering as well. They did a great job on some straightforward work, and I'd hire them again.

Very professional. The outlets look like they were part of the original patio installation.

Dan handles both plumbing and electrical, plus various remodeling/repairing, so no need to hire multiple contractors. They finished the job in 2 days, cleaning up after themselves. I had resigned myself to fixing a leaky faucet with hard-to-find parts, and Dan gave me advice on a better, cheaper way to go. Will use him again next year when I rearrange my kitchen.
