Mr Delauro was professional and pleasant, however his designer did not provide a design that included what I specifically requested. A price was never quoted. I do not feel that I got my money's worth for this design!

They came exactly on time, and were just the nicest, most capable, careful (and very insistent on cleaning up after themselves) guys I've had do work here.

Dan did some painting for us probably about a year ago. I bought a Big Deal for 8 hours of painting he did a good job. I purchased another Big Deal from him for painting but when I called him to set up the appointment, he said I wasn't really eligible for purchase another Big Deal- he gives a discount to repeat customers.

It wasn’t a great experience. He really didn’t come with many good ideas. His placement of the kitchen sink made no sense. I would not use him again.

My wife and I assumed that we would get many things done in the 8hour Angie's List offer. Watching Mr. DeLauro handle the flooring shed light on how clueless we are regarding home remodeling. He did an outstanding job on both the laminate in the hallway and the tile in the bath. I'm sure we'll call DelLauro's for our next remodelling job.

I purchasesd a Big Deal, painter for a day for 199.99. The walls, ceiling and one radiator needed painting. No woodwork was done. We had had some plastering done on the ceiling of our bedroom which needed some finishing sanding. I received a call quickly and it was scheduled promptly. Two painters came. I was told that the job would take 8 hours to do, when he looked at the room, which with 2 painters was 4 hours over the 199.00 cost. The extra hours were at 80.00 per hour. He also said to do things right he really should skim coat the ceiling and patch some stress cracks in one wall which would add on time. With already 320.00 over the 199.00 I told him no, just sand the ceiling where needed and paint the walls, ceiling and radiator. I know sanding can take some time, but should it take more than 1 hour for a professional to do? The whole ceiling certainly didn't need sanding. So to sand and paint four walls,one ceiling and one radiator plus travel to get the paint it took 6 hours or 12 man hours. Luckily for me it didn't turn out to be an 8 hour job. That was with one coat of paint on everything. My total for supplies was 100.00. He bought 2 gallons of ceiling paint, and didn't even use one whole gallon. He did not charge for the extra gallon of that paint. However he got 2 gallons of specially mixed paint for the walls and only used not even one gallon. I had to pay for the extra gallon. Should not a professional painter know how much paint he will need to use? He said he thought it would bleed through, However he didn't even use one whole gallon. He said I could use it in another room. Not really! the job they did was a good one and I have no complaints about that. However I feel 12 man hours to do four walls, ceiling and a radiator is an extreme amount of time for a professional to take.

The work was done in a professional manner, they were both very polite and cared about what I wanted done. I would absolutely use this company again. The owner was very kind to me.

When setting up the appointment for handyman services, we were told we would have 2 people for 4 hours. The storm door installation went fine but when it came to the awning, the man said he had never done one and didn't know how long it would take. Since just 1 person was sent, he called for help but when the other guy called, he declined the help because he had decided he wasn't going to do the awning. When he told me this, I questioned it, then we together put the awning together and he hung it. He told me he had skipped his lunch and even though we had 45 minutes left on our 8 hours, he did not install the GFI outlet because he said he did not have enough time. The 2 jobs he did are well done, but I did not appreciate him complaining for the 5 hours it took for the awning installation. The awning was 5' x 3' aluminum and he could have had help. I feel if 2 people had been sent as promised, we would have received a full 8 man hours of work.

Arrived on time very courteous. Used paper booties over their work shoes. Friendly, professional excellent service. They came back next day when one of the T.V.s didn't work. Turns out the TV power system failed, no fault of theirs, but they hung a substitute TV for me at no charge! On a Friday evening!! Great job by Mr. DeLauro's crew! Tony deserves plaudits!

His work was quite good. He was responsive and all of his workers were quite good. The people he sent out did a nice job. I was happy with the work that he did personally. They did everything they should.

Overall, I was happy with them. They were quick to respond once I purchased the Big Deal from Angie's List. Dan was easy to work with. It took a couple weeks from start to finish to complete the list. There was a communication error on the final list, however Dan was happy to resolve the issues. There was a construction error made by Delauro which I was responsible to paint the wall they accidentally cut, which I found odd that I had to fix their mistake. Dan stood by his work and his word, which I appreciated. Overall, I was happy with them and I would use them again in the future.

He couldn't complete the job and had to come back a second time, so I had to pay extra for that.

Very nice and cooperative, but our "special deal" ended up costing us 6 times the original "deal". I expected to pay more for both parts and additional labor, But $600 for one outdoor outlet and two simply replaced. Also the new outlet was just tied into an existing circuit instead of running a new line with it's own breaker. I'm a little concerned with the possibility of overloading the circuit when running outdoor equipment and constantly tripping the breaker. |Most aggravating was the multiple trips to Walmart or Lowes to get additional parts--and we paid for the time! |They were very pleasant, but I think their organization was lacking and the cost was excessive.

They did much more than the big deal. We made that arrangement ahead of time. The group did some kitchen remodeling that we could not do ourselves. |It was great. They were prompt, polite, and most of all they CLEANED UP. You would not know that they had sanded drywall that morning by how clean it was when they left. Would highly recommend and use again.

Buyer beware of a deal that sounds "too good". We had 3 different estimates to choose from and went with the one that was most affordable. Unfortunately this service ended up costing much more than all 3 estimates. Ouch! The workers were very pleasant and professional. But the cost, above the quoted "deal" was outrageous!

Came right on time, list grew longer as I walked Dan and Frank around the house. They were good-natured about it and we prioritized the list. The guys did good, quality work and were pleasant to have in the house for 2 days - thorough and conscientious. Because my list kept growing, they will need to come back for another half day. They left the place looking terrific, even at the end of the first day - cleaned often. Left the house in great condition! Will def use again!!

Fixed a wall bench seat correctly, covered hot water pipes.

Was set up to do an install of an exhaust fan in the shower along with installing some ceiling fans. Was originally supposed to be 2 guys for 4 hours a piece. The other guy didn't show and therefore it was one guy for 8 hours. This prevented him from working on the exhaust fan and thus focus was on doing the ceiling fans. Came back another day for exhaust fan - quoted 300 but ended up costing 500 dollars. was charged 3 hours labor (at 45 per hour) for his trip to home depot for parts.

DeLauro responded quickly to set a date for service. Unfortunately, I needed faster service and realized that they were quite a distance away from me and I had used another Angie's List provider closer to me and booked them. DeLauro was kind enough to let me switch to this provider and agreed to a refund.

It was really easy to setup an appointment with Dan to have the work completed. He always answered Angie's list messages within 24 hours, and was able to get me on the calendar with no hassle. After I explained what I needed to have done, Dan was very upfront with the estimated effort and associated costs. On the day of work, Dan and Frank showed up right on time ready to work. Even though my home threw them a few curveballs, they worked hard throughout the day to ensure everything was done on time. I would definitely use them again.

The visit went well with Delauro. But all they did was walk around and look at our electrical fixtures to see what we needed upgraded. They tried to get us to do additional, expensive work. However they are a good company and if I chose to do that additional upgrade work, I would go with them. I do feel like they were trustworthy.

Some issues with scheduling but I felt the price quoted for the bathroom light and fan was way out of line. I found the same unit for $62.50 online and they quoted $300. I don't think it takes $240 of labor to install it!

The provider was prompt with emailing messages back and forth with me. The provider arrived in a timely manner and all the workers were very professional. They were very careful and cleaned their construction areas. The provider had to cut holes into the drywall and through the studs. Then they had to install two electrical switches and finally repair the drywall and repaint the area. At times, it seemed the provider was a bit scattered and disorganized, but the overall project turned out fine and looks wonderful. The only complaint that I have is that the final cost was over the estimate and it was not noted on their estimate that I had already paid for the Big Deal on Angie's List, so I do not understand how the Big Deal actually tied in with the final cost.. When I questioned the amount over the estimated cost, it was explained to me that it was because the provider had not taken into account the difficulty of drilling through all the studs found behind the gas fireplace. But again, the end result of their job looks very nice!

Showed up on time called befor he came to make sure he had all the necessary equipment Installed the outlet in a short amount of time made sure area was painted and holes repaired. Cleaned up area completely before leaving
