Best handyman/contractor experience we have ever had!!! First of all, never have we ever had someone show up exactly on time (even a couple minutes early). We started with a basement that was hardly finished due to a previous contractor never showing up to finish the job. DeLauro came in and finished the job in 1 day! We had electrical work that needed completed, drywall that needed completed, molding, staining, and trim work. They did an amazing job and we will definitely be calling back for our next project. Still baffled at how they completed everything so quickly and professionally. THANK YOU!!!

It went fine. They were here last Friday. They wanted $80 an hour to continue and I said, I would do it myself. I don't pay anybody $80 an hour. The price was excellent, except for the $80 an hour. They only had time to do one coat. If they come up on Angie's List, I would purchase again. They were perfectionist, worked the four hours, and there's not a spot on my floor.

I bought a $199 big deal for this service. It was really bad. They charged me more than the price of the deal. The ad was deceptive. To get a higher grade from me they actually could have performed eight hours of service. It was very disheartening for me. We expected to get a lot of work done in eight hours. Instead it was four hours of one guy and his helper handing him things. To me that is not right to begin with. Those two guys that were sent were very nice, but they did not know what they were doing. The boss had to come and they had to make trips to the store bringing back incorrect parts and then charging us for overtime. There were three people because the boss had to come. You can see why I am frustrated. They knew at the time because the boss was here.

It was pretty good. The paint looks pretty good but there are some spots that are not finished. I didn't notice until the painters were gone. We did purchase an additional few hours for them to do painting for 8 hours instead of 4. I have concerns over being charged hourly. I know one of the guys wasn't working the whole time and they also spent a lot of time in cleaning their supplies which I didn't think should have been part of what we were paying for. What they did looks very nice. I wasn't happy with some other things. They tried to do a good job and they were on time in everything.

Dan is very warm-hearted, professional, and experienced guy. I have been very satisfied with their work. Highly recommend.

I wrote a positive review on this company and requested Angies list to remove my review for the following reasons. I purchased a big deal for $ 1,599.00 and paid $5,175.00. It has been over a year and I have not received an invoice or any manufactor warranties that have been requested. I needed to have a bathroom completely redone and Mr. Delauro reviewed the work. Just like other reviews I had the same problem of this company coming unprepared which cost me a considerable amount of money. Work would be started by one and the other worker would need to go to Lowe's or Home Depot to get materials. This meant I was paying for 2 workers and only 1 was working. The work was completed satisfactorily and I gave Mr. Delauro a check for $5,175.00 but did not receive a bill of a break down of number of hours, purchase receipts for numerous trips to Lowe's and Home Depot and I did not receive manufacture warranties on a window installed or on bathroom glass doors. I spoke to Mr. Delauro last June 2015 requesting all above information and I told him that a crack was forming on the bathroom wall. He offered to fix it but also said the house was probably shifting.What?? Really the house was shifting-Really!! I did not ask for him to come back since it would of cost me more money. I also requested the manufacture warranty on the glass doors since I am having consistent problems. He offered to fix them but that is not what I wanted. I want the warranties. a invoice of a breakdown of what I paid for including hours for my future records. I am Not happy.

The service went well. People contacted us online instead of by phone and so they called us, but it was not their fault. It was our fault. They came in a very timely manner after that. They came between Christmas and New Year, but the delay in doing it was our fault not theirs. We did not pay more than the $199 Big Deal. It was eight-hours and two people came. So, it was half-day. I actually had to add a couple of things to my original list and they got everything done. They were quite responsive. I would probably use them again if they had the specials.

See the above for work done and problems encountered - latter mostly a result of poor communication by management and costing me $40-80 for worktime billed and lost.

I purchased the Big Deal which included 8 hours of painting for $199.00. Six additional hours were subsequently purchased for $240, and there was a $10.00 charge for the repairs. Since there were two painters, the job was completed in 7 hours. I went to the paint store and bought some of the paint before they arrived and returned to the store while they were working to buy the rest. They advised me exactly what paint I would need for the ceiling and trim. Dan and Ricco arrived on time and were very professional. They wore protection on their feet so as not to track snow into the house. They protected the carpeting and moved three pieces of furniture, putting them back after vacuuming the carpet. They did the work described above, putting on two coats of paint. The dinette looks great now; I don't know how it could have gone better. I am very pleased.

Did an excellent job on everything that I asked. The door was a little tricky. I wanted to install an electronic key pad and the whole in the door needed to be drilled. The young man called his supervisor who came over and brought the correct size drill bit to drill the door. They were both professional, solved the problem and fixed everything in the time allowed.

This was a big deal purchase and it did not go real well. There were several different handyman jobs we were having done. We only had a little wallpaper left and the guy measured it, but he just free-cut it with scissors. It looked terrible so my husband wound up sitting there, watching them and telling them what to do. We also had some wall covering to put on and he did the same thing -- he just free-cut it without measuring. It did not look very good. I was not very happy with it. We won't get them again, that is for certain. They were supposed to fix a sprinkler head which they said they couldn't do. They also said they could not fix the Malibu light. I showed him what the problem was, he said he did not notice that before and fixed it. Before he wanted me to go out and get a new light until I showed him the problem. The price was right. The wallpaper was not done professionally. They were two young guys that I am not sure knew exactly what they were doing. If you are going to do something with wallpaper you've got to measure and have straight lines, you can't just free-cut it.

I had 2 men work a little over 4 hrs. They were professional, but I didn't plan on spending so much

Dan was fantastic. I had a list of several items from rehinge a door to close properly, to rehang a light fixture. to secure a gas line in the garage,to install multiple smoke detectors and to hanga very heavy wall mirror . He was professional and did the work in a very efficient manner. I would DEFINITELY call Dan for future projects.

Glad to find a dependable and reasonably priced person we can depend upon for future issues on rental property and our own property

I originally purchased a Big Deal for a painter for a week in preparation for selling my house. Based on the recommendation of my realtor, I did not repaint the house and was going to cancel the Big Deal until Dan said he would give me 40 hours of work doing anything so I agreed. It was very easy to schedule and they did a good job. They stripped wallpaper from my bathroom, patched the walls and ceiling, and repainted everything. They also repaired my bathroom and utility sinks as well as repairing some dry wall. Dan went above and beyond on helping me with the repairing of the sinks. I purchased items I thought I needed, however it was incorrect and Dan took it upon himself to go to the store and obtain the correct items even though his time had elapsed. I would recommend Dan and his crew.

The work done was excellent. Very professionally done. Cleanup was good. Met all expectations. Only problem was that pricing wasn't very clear. Extra charges at the back end of the project weren't clearly stated during the project. Would use again but would require clear pricing.

It went well the person that they sent was knowledgeable and a nice person overall.

It was a very big job, and the end result is excellent! They showed up on time each morning, cleaned up really well after each day. They were thoughtful, helpful, and very professional. I will certainly recommend the Delauro team to friends and family in the future.

The painters were on time. We provided the materials. The work was done in a professional and expedient manner, The painters cleaned their equipment and were on the way at the end of the 8 hours.

The guys did a great job they did all the repairs and then some, they cleaned up after themselves did caulking all the little details that were needed super job!

Everything was completed in a timely and professional manor.

They were prompt, professional and clean. Will use them again.

Were extremely responsive. Plan on using them again for a larger job.
