I was extremely pleased with Pete. He arrived exactly on time and had professional moving equipment. We loaded up quickly and everything went very smoothly. His price was very reasonable. Other big movers had minimum rates that were much much higher.

We desperately needed to switch a couple of sofas between our living room and the family room because we were about to have a party. The sofas are large and there was no way we could lift them (we are in our 70s.) We called Pete Iverson and asked him oif he would do it for us. He said he didn't have time on his schedule until next week but, as we were about to hang up, he said that because we were in a fix, he could make it that evening at 8.30. And he did. They did an excellent job. Our hallway is narrow and the move involved some tight turns but they were very careful, and we were delighted to have our problem solved.

Pete Iverson, the owner of Area Movers, was responsive to our call for a quote, good about rescheduling at our request and prompt and careful on the day the services were performed. We used the company for moving our household about 8 years ago and were pleased with the services then and now.

We were quite disappointed. They came highly recommended and the quality of the work was good. he biggest problem was that they wouldn't come out and give an estimate for the move and when they got to our home (2 days before the closing) they informed us that they couldn't do all of the work in one day and had no other openings until a week later.

AREA MOVERS DID TERRIFIC WORK FOR US. THEY WERE FRIENDLY, PROMPT, CAREFUL, ENERGETIC, AND THE FINAL PRICE WAS LESS THAN THE ESTIMATE. THEY WORKED STEADILY ON A VERY HOT DAY REPEATEDLY CLIMBING MANY FLIGHTS OF STAIRS. AT THE NEW HOME, THEY PLACED BOXES AT APPROPRIATE PLACES AS MARKED - FROM THE BASEMENT TO THE ATTIC. THEY HELPED US INSTALL WINDOW AIR CONDITIONERS AND ARRANGED THE FURNITURE AS DIRECTED. ITS A SMALL COMPANY, USING THE SAME TWO TO THREE MEN, WHICH HELPS ENSURE QUALITY OF EXPERIENCE.

I CALLED 2 OTHER PLACES THESE WERE THE LOWEST! THEY WERE SO NICE AND CAREFUL VERY PROMPT! THEY EVEN WILL COME OUT TO RE-ARRANGE YOUR FURNITURE WHICH IS A GREAT SERVICE FOR MY PARENTS WHO CAN'T DO THIS SO READILY- MY PARENTS ARE USING THEM AGAIN ALREADY!

THEY WERE PROMPT & REASONABLE, WILLING TO DO SMALL JOB, MOVED FURNITURE FROM ONE ROOM TO ANOTHER. CREW WAS HELPFUL, PLEASANT, & DID A GOOD JOB.

USED FOR AN IN-HOUSE MOVE. MOVED UPSTAIRS FURNITURE TO BASEMENT AND ALSO DELIVERED UNWANTED FURNITURE TO THE SALVATION ARMY. A PLEASURE TO USE!

MEMBER HAS USED THEM TO MOVE THREE TIMES, FOR LOCAL MOVES. THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN VERY EFFICIENT, NOTHING EVER BROKEN. MEMBER IS IN WHEELCHAIR, AND THEY HAVE TAKEN PARTICULAR CARE. WILL HANDLE LITTLE STUFF TOO.
