+ -1 moreExcellent. Steve, his crew leader and experienced installers understand that they are not installing a roof, they are installing peace of mind and delivering a unique experience. Further, by their promptness, politeness and steady work ethic, they engender trust and a desire in the homeowner to tell others about Steve and his company. To a man they, at one point or another, expressed Steve's vision for professionalism and attention to detail; do it right or do it again until it is perfect. I can tell you, they did it right, and it is perfect. We've had several torrential rain events since the install; perfect, no water inside. Hire Steve for passion, professionalism and perfection!
Description of Work: My 6-year old home needed a new roof because of an incorrect installation by the builder's subcontractor. We had water in the great room in November 2016, in addition to previous years, for which the builder has refused to take responsibility. We finally had to have insurance work done to patch the roof and repair my walls. We were referred to Steve and Z & Z Roofing and Construction by the folks doing our interior repair. We looked at a couple of other folks as well. In the end we selected Steve not for his price, which was not the lowest, but for his apparent passion for delivering a first class experience to the homeowner. He uses only first grade materials and goes way beyond the building codes to ensure excellent work. I can tell you this, Steve and his team would rather walk away from a job done with substandard materials and minimal code installations, than have his reputation tarnished due to inferior work/materials. If you want first class work, pay a first class professional like Steve Oldja and Z & Z Roofing and Construction.

+ 0 moreI got their recommendation from Roth Construction. They said that they work with them often. The BBB knew about them as well. Mr. Oldja came out and talked about things in detail in regards to what needed to be done with the roof. Afterwards, we sat down and discussed the different kinds of roofing that are available. We also talked about the water shield that would be installed underneath to help maintain it. So, he was very good at communicating exactly what was going on with the roof, and what we needed to do.
Description of Work: They had to fix the slope of my gutters, tear down and old roof, and apply a new one. They also fixed my attic vent.
