Matt’s Home Improvements

Matt was on time and did everything that I asked him to do. I was happy with the quality of his work. All of the work that he did was on the front of the house. Days after he left I remembered that there was also damage on the side of the house that I was going to have him fix. I forgot to mention that work when he was there. I think that he could have been more proactive in walking around the house looking for additional repairs that were needed while he was there. For that reason, I gave him a B instead of an A.

.Matt replied to my phone inquiry the next day, he came out and looked at the requirements and quoted me a price. He said how long it would take and when I agreed, he went to work. I came home from work, and after inspecting the quality, I paid him. I would use him again, I was very happy

It couldn't have gone better. He arrived when he said he would and did a beautiful job.

Matt was very resonsvie to my inquiry. I had a city violation on a rental unit. I had a certain budget that i needed to stay with in. Matt was understanding to my situation with the city and very timely and prompt to get the job done. My property manager who sometimes does my handy work was going to charge me what seemed over market price for this job. I am very happy that Matt was able to 1) expedite this request and 2) work with my budget and limitations. I will use Matt again

It was difficult to schedule Matt to do this work. There were many calls & emails. He finally did repair the window wells but even with the several visits, I do not think 4 hours were spent. Not knowing how much time this would take, I did have other work to fill the time. I settled for priority. The work he did still looks good.

Initially, the provider cancelled several appointments. He was apologetic and explained his jobs were taking longer than anticipated. When the provider came to my home, he was professional and completed the work in an exceptional manner. He also hung a couple of curtain rods at no additional cost. I was happy with his work and would use his services again.

Have not been able to get a hold of him to set up appointment! But once I did, Matts Home Improvement was very professional when they came to clean my carpet! However, It was hard to tell if it was cleaned well or it was that my carpet was too soiled. In any I case a didn't get the results I expected.

Very Good. Prepared the wall as necessary. Extra charge do to doing an accent wall. Matt did a good job, would use again. Was at house for-4-5 hrs. Was worth the money for two coats on room.

they did not work the high traffic area as I asked. they didn't have to move any furniture, and they could have done a better job but they seemed to be in to much of a hurry.

The mason arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently. We were pleased with the clean and accurate job he did.

Overall it went well. It took a little longer than expected but that was due to some bad weather.

I ordered 4 hours of masonry. I called to schedule. They said they were really busy and didn't know when they would get to it. They never got to it.

He is super neat and clean. He never leaves a mess behind. We have hired him several times.

Matt was professional. on time, clean no surprises. very pleasant exp.

It took a tremendous amount of time to get the contractor out to do the work including multiple canceled visits. Once the work was performed the quality was good and the crew was curtious and professional.

My experience with Matt’s Home Improvements was ultimately good. What they did solved the problem and I was happy with that.

Hard to reach to set up appointment. That was noted on the special I bought (an Angie's deal). But I wasted a lot of time on a no show appointment, scheduling dilemmas on his part for the next appointments, and finally, he was 2 1/2 hours late on the day he was finally going to do the work. Never called. When I answered the door, I just told him to forget it and got a refund from Angie's list.

A little hard to schedule because of some disorganisation and misses messages. But work was okay once we got past the logistics stage.

It's been awhile, so I don't recall specifics.

The Mason was late, over an hour late. He did call several times with excuses, (lost, wrong turn, running late). When he arrived, he got to work right away. The work and even clean up was completed in 45 minutes.He started cleaning out the crack, then just filled it in. He could have done a much better clean out job. I had started on the job and got worn out trying to break up and clean out the crack, that's why I call in a pro. I could have just covered it up. So, I do believe I over paid for 45 minutes of work. The work he did was fine, smooth and he used the right materials. I admit I had a bit of an attitude problem with him being late in the first place, I changed my schedule to be home, and I expect pros to be timely.

It went well. He got delayed due to rain but finished the job and went above and beyond patching a small bit of stucco that was crumbling on the front of our house. He didn't charge us extra for that.

He really did a good job. He is become my go to guy. I really like him a lot. He is very punctual and if he is not going to be there on time he will give you a call and I like that a lot. I am going to use him again.

never imagined that caulking could be so messy. am still finding the residue even after two months. it literally took days to continually wash down the walls and fixtures (including the sink, which was not to even be caulked) to remove the caulk residue. the back wall of the tub was not caulked with enough material and left a gap within days. the real problem was at the floor level. when removing the old caulk, the floor material was damaged and left with holes next to the tub. if it was difficult to remove, we would have appreciated this information and would have agreed to a different approach. we only became aware of this because we did not like the cauling at the floor (even after he had redone this area twice) and started to remove it in an effort to try to enhance the look ourselves without recalling the contractor. what a shock.

This was a good experience. The work was done well and was on time.
