I was told that the original $99.00 would not cover the work. I had to pay an extra $300 (total $400) for him to do the work. He finished within the 4 hours on the original certificate. I'm confused about why I had to pay extra since it took less than 4 hours to finish the work.

dobe.he did my work as a "side" job after doing other jobs. work was acceptable but clean-up was bad as we had discussed removal of bricks when finished but was not done.

I didn't think they were that good. I was not pleased with them. It's been so long, all I know is they left a sour taste in my mouth. The special price was okay.

He did what seemed to be an OK job at the time. I soon discovered (my next actual bath) that there was dried caulk on the tub. I also discovered that he didn't do either side of the shower doors. And now, months later, what he did do is separating...

He was very neat in appearance and the work he did with a couple small exceptions. He dripped paint on the brand new carpeting but it is the exact same color as the paint he was using and hard to miss I'm sure. He also got paint on a lamp fixture carrying out his supplies which wasn't noticed until it was too late to wipe off. The walls were perfect and he got no paint on the wood ceiling trim (thankfully) which I worried about. However, the switch plates were poorly painted and I had to redo them. Not a big deal. I still would use him again. Nice guy.

He tuckpointed the front steps and it started to crack and come out. I spoke with him, and he promised to come back and redo it. He came out one day and said he was going to cement it. Never came back.

We set up our appointment and he was late for the appointment. He called me twice and he showed up around 6 at night. I did not mind this due to the fact that I was home. He was only here for about an hour an a half. He then charged $10 for the supplies and wasn't here for the full time four hours. There wasn't anything else that he could do and the work was only for the steps. I forgot that I do have some more work to be done, but I didn't remember at the time to ask. It's on me- I should of remembered while he was here. I have a crack going across my garage floor that he could done, but I never mentioned it to him and it dawned on me later.

Did a very good job on my carpets. The crew was very polite and did their work in a timely manner.

They did good work, but what they forgot to mention on the big deal, was that if your house is a certain height, then they need to use scaffolding, and that is at an extra charge. I wasn't happy about that, because i ended up paying much more. The work was fine but the experience was not great.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was awesome. He was great. He cleaned up after himself. When we finally caught up with each other, he was very prompt and came right on. The work was done timely and professionally.

I liked him, but I was not impressed with the work and had to get some of it redone. It turned into a relatively major project. It was one of those you get what you pay for and I did not pay enough. I would not use him again.

Nothing to tell Hard ot give an out of pockect cost when job is has not been done

I had very little problems the Matt needed to deal with. He cleaned out cracks and re pointed the brick as needed. Things look good.

Very nice man. Big deal indicated an expert on caulking/grout. He is basically a handy man and i do not feel caulking/grout work is his strongest skill.

Matt arrived on time. He gave mey the details of repair or replace the brickwork. We decided to repair. He did a very nice job. Cleaned up after the work and was done in less than two hours. He was very thorough, explained everything, and worked quickly. We would not hesitate to use him again.

Was done at daughter's house so details are not all known but he did a good job. However she had trouble getting him there when she wanted and I suppose she felt he was not usually a punctual person. However he did a good job and prob more than was expected in that category.

Angie's List refunded me the coupon cost - no problem there.

I have used this company for three times. The last used his service by the end of November last year. There was a caulking missing between the bathroom tile and the tub and he took out the old stuff and put in a new caulking and he reattached some loose tiles and put the grout in there. He came in and caulked everything up really nice and fixed some tile. I did give him a few bucks because I have him to caulk something above the tile. He’s always prompt. Every time I've dealt with him he’s been prompt but if he’s gonna be little late he’ll give a call. He’s done really good work and he’s a very friendly guy and he seems to be very reliable. For that reason I have used him three times now and I actually intend to use him again for some other project.

Matt had to chisel out the old, cracked bricks that had lost their fronts. He matched and replaced the bricks and it looks great. We had really bad weather that week. He was very prompt to start each morning, but rain prevented him from finishing each day. He must have come back 3 times to finish the job. He was professional, friendly, courteous and did a great job! I would definitely recommend him to my neighbors.

Matt never showed up or did the job.....money was deducted from my account but no work was done. How do I get a refund ? Maybe need to check out these contractors a little closer

He did nothing. Waited 3 hours after waiting since April 30, 2013 when the appointment was made.

This company was extremely difficult to reach from the very beginning. I called and left at least half a dozen messages before it got cold. Finally, he called me back and said he couldn't do the work at that time because the weather and would get back to me when it warmed up. Come spring, the exact same thing happened in that we called several times to no avail. I'm so fed up with dealing with their lack of responsiveness I'm going with someone else.

First he called to say he couldn’t come out the original day we scheduled because he had a problem with his truck. Then the next day he never called and just showed up. All he had to do was level a 4 X 4 cement sidewalk piece. He didn’t know how to do it and I had to help him. He couldn’t have used a lot of cement and charged me an extra $50 for the job. It looks terrible and I would never use him again. I'm trying to sell my home and this was not helpful in the process at all.

Terrific. I was very pleased with what he did. Very polite and nice. No problems whatsoever.

This deal didn't work out for me. He was professional but there was a time issue. It got put on the backburner for me.
