Description of Work: I asked Mark to repair my dryer because it stopped heating. After a careful check, he said it would cost more to repair it than to buy one. He suggested the brand, model and store where I would be sure to find it. Then he didn't charge me because he said he wasn't able to fix it. Amazing! When I went to the store the next day to buy a new dryer, the sales person said, "This sounds like Mark. He is a real professional. You don't meet people like him everyday." I wholeheartedly agree!

Description of Work: We had a very noisy refrigerator - and Mark's Appliance was recommended by the local Lowe's Store. I checked Angie's list - excellent reports so i called Mark. In the mean time, my dryer also had stopped working as well! Mark came to check out both issues the same day I called. Very nice - professional and thorough. His advice on the refrigerator - the noise was compressor knocking - and the cost to repair was not worth it based on the age of the refrigerator. The dryer ran when he was here - he checked out several areas including the vent - and said if the problem happened again, he could check for parts availability - and we could decide on how to proceed. He did not charge for the service call. We were very impressed and will DEFINITELY call him for any and all appliances issues in the future.

Description of Work: Great service! Came out onetime, repaired our Kenmore refrigerator and advised on other appliances in our house. Very professional and knowledgable. Will definitely use his service again.

Description of Work: I have an older Amana refrigerator with an ice maker. The ice maker did not actually come with the refrigerator. It was an "add-on" at the time I purchased it. The ice maker was leaking. Mark was quickly able to identify the problem, agreed to find another icemaker, if it was available. At that time he shut of the water which flowed into the ice maker. He spent considerable time looking up a suitable icemaker in catalogs and was not able to find one which would fit in the unit. He recommended that we buy icecube trays which we did and they work just fine. I was not charged for his visit and his time! He did say that he installs appliances from Lowe's and I certainly will look there when this unit breaks down with the idea that he would install it.
