Description of Work: HAVE USED MARK PREVIOUSLY AND HE IS ALWAYS TOO GOOD TO BELIEVE! HE WOULD RATHER TELL YOU THAT AN APPLIANCE IS BEYOND REPAIR THAN PERFORM WORK HE KNOWS WOULD BE IB VAIN. I WOULDN'T THINK OF USING ANY OTHER PROVIDER IN THIS FIELD.

Description of Work: Inspected the dishwasher to determine reason for the machine not cleaning the loads. Disassembled the washing mechanism to inspect the pump. System was plugged with waste. Cleaned the filter, reassembled the pump and tested the machine. Problem solved. His effort eliminated the need to replace the pump or the machine which had been the diagnosis of a previous service provider at almost seven times the cost

Description of Work: I had a phone consultation regarding my oven. He was very efficient in calling me back. He was polite on the phone and gave me tips and advice.

Description of Work: The stove was not working correctly. The heating element was staying on. It was a very old stove and he said that the parts could not be found and it would be better to purchase a new stove. He had came out over a year ago and fxed something else on the stove and also did a good job.

Description of Work: Mark called me back shortly after I called him. He came that same day and fixed my 20 year old washing machine with a part that he had in his truck!

Description of Work: Mark's came for an estimate. He said he would call the next day, he never called. I tried 4 times to contact him, he would never return my calls. I would not use Mark's.

Description of Work: Fixed the gas igniter in our oven. We have used Mark's several times and have been very pleased with the service. They are the folks I call when I need an appliance repaired. Their prompt to respond, show up on time, and I don't feel like they try to upset or exaggerate my service.

Description of Work: Mark sounds nice enough on the phone but he is almost impossible to get a hold of. I called him first thing in the morning (7am to be exact). I asked him to call me at a direct number BEFORE his day started so we could touch base (we missed each other twice over a 3 day period). It sounds like his day gets busier as it goes by. No phone call. Of course calling through out the day leads to his voice mail every time. Mark needs to dedicate time on a daily basis first thing in the morning to follow up with customers so there is consistant follow ups. I'm sure he does great work but getting him on the phone is the first step.

Description of Work: I contacted Mark about a apparent leak of water in the bottom of our freezer section of our Whirlpool 1 1/2 year old refrigerator/freezer. Within 10 minutes he returned my call and after explaining the problem he diagnosed the cause immediately and explained what action I should take with Whirlpool. Whirlpool is covering under warranty and even though Mark's was not on their list, I would highly recommend him. As a matter of fact Mark's Appliance Service will be the first call for any appliance service need in our home. He was very courteous and responsive.

Description of Work: Wash machine broken - tried and fix when notable. Recommend several machines and explained each. Gave us a no charge service call! When does that happen in this day and age!

Description of Work: I contacted Mark about my microwave turntable not spinning. He was going to find the cost of the part necessary to fix it and call me back. He never followed up. I called him 3 more times and left messages and he never returned my call. Very disappointed since I used to Angie's List to find him.
