Mark did a great job. He is always very professional and knowledgable. Mark knew exactly what was wrong with my dishwasher and replaced the part. The dishwasher still leaked!!! Mark came back out to my house, several times, FREE of charge, to see if there was another problem with my dishwasher. When all else failed to fix the leak, Mark decided the original part he replaced may have been faulty. It was. He ordered a new one and installed. All is dry now! Mark came to my house many times and never charged me except for the original visit. The faulty part was not Mark's fault and he took a lot of his own time to stand behind his work. I have hired Mark in the past for other jobs and will continue to do so if I need to! Mark does a wonderful job!

He is great. He is awesome. We kind of played phone tag and he called us and we called him and he called us and then we connected. He came out and was on time. He fixed our problem within ten minutes of coming out and doing what he needed to do. He actually did not charge us because my husband had put in our ice maker and Mark said this is what the problem is and he looked at it and said this is what it is and did little adjustments.

This was a remarkable response to a non-working refrigerator. I so appreciate the thorough review on the telephone, the prompt response, and the professional advice. I would call this provider without any hesitation and feel that he demonstrated not only a thorough knowledge of the potential issues with the refrigerator, but a depth of integrity that inspires confidence. WOW!

We called Mark this morning and he came by within a few hours. He determined the reason for the water was an apparent leak in the water line. While he was unable to move the installed refrigerator out as it was a two man job, he still went into the basement ceiling to turn off the water line. When I asked what I owed him he said nothing as his service call is without charge. Even when I told him that he did "do" something he still said that his service call is without charge. He also give me advice on a new refrigerator and to avoid the plastic line that was originally installed. I was very impressed and will use again.

Fabulous overall. It is so unlikely to have such professionalism, responsiveness, and courtesy today. I would not hesitate to call on Mark for any appliance service.

It was a very good experience Mark was very informative about maintenance of the stove. He explained the proper way to clean and care for the stove. He seemed very knowledgeable about appliances. I asked for an estimate on installing a new Kenmore dishwasher and a garabage disposal in near furture. He gave me an estimate and explained any electrical work needed I would have to call an electrican.

I had hired Mark years ago to fix my dryer, and I decided to call him again when my freezer stopped working properly. I could have gotten a same-day appointment, but I preferred that he come the next day. He gave me a two-hour window, and arrived within 15 minutes of the start of the time range. He opened it up and said that there was a leak. He said that because of the closed-seal system, the whole freezer would have to be taken apart to find out where the leak was coming from, and that it would cost less money to buy a new freezer. Mark was very professional and knowledgable, and he did not charge me for this diagnosis. He also gave me some advice about what I might want to replace it with.

I called Mark on a Monday and we set up an appt. He arrived and quickly identified the problems with both my washer & dryer. Within 15 minutes (he had the necessary part in his truck) my dryer was fixed. The washer required ordering a part. He called me that same day with the cost of the washer repair. He called when the part came in ( within three days) and set up an appointment for him to install the new part in the washer. Again, he was punctual efficient and fast. The prices he quoted were the prices he charged. No hidden fees !!! He explained the problems clearly and gave good HONEST advice! I would absolutely recommend him to anyone!!! Will definitely call him again for any other appliance problems.

It went very well. He called and told us exactly when he would be at our home. He was running late from our 12:20 window. He was very knowledgeable and gave us info/estimates on other home appliance repairs. He called next day reguarding a referring part that's not available anymore.

He arrived, checked out my dishwasher and explained my problem. The circuit board needs replaced which would run around 400 for parts alone. He explained he thought I would be better off with getting a new one although he would be glad to repair it for me. He even gave me advice on which brands would be good to choose. He then noticed that my microwave is installed over the range too low and gave me some excellent advice about fixing it. I felt like I got the advice my brother would give me, if he knew anything about appliances. :-) I will be calling him again!

I was impressed that he didn't try to oversell me and I appreciated his honesty. There was no charge.

I called Mark's Appliance repair at approximately 9:00 AM in hope of getting a same day service call. My electric stove had started making a buzzing noise the previous evening. Mark scheduled an appointment the same day. I expressed my concerns about the noise during our conversation and he instructed me to turn off the breaker. I honestly had not thought to do the obvious. Mark called when he was on the way and arrived as scheduled. Upon arrival he turned the breaker on and identified the failed clock motor as causing the noise within a matter of minutes. I chose the less expensive of 2 options based on the age of my stove. Mark disconnected the clock motor. He tested the stove to insure oven and eyes were not disturbed when he opened the stove. He also provided some information regarding replacing cost of replacing the stove in the future.

Mark is the only one listed that I saw on angies list that did not charge a service fee. I was very happy about that. I called mark on friday left a message My call was returned the very next day. He diagnosed the problem over the phone but had to test the heating element to be sure. He said he could get to it 2 days later. Mark came on monday and did the work. The heating element was bad and had to be replaced. I was told by mark that the price for the part was expensive and would cost $99.00. I let him know that i need my dryer and to do the work. It took all of 15 min if that to replace the part. After he left i looked the part up on the internet and thought i had been over charged for the cost of the heating element. I found that there are different heating elements for gas and electric dryers and the electric dryer heating element did indeed cost what he quoted. Yes i would use his services again if needed.

Mark was on time, gave me a 2 hour window when he would be here, was getting close to the last hour and I received a phone call that he would be here in 10 minutes, and he was. Found the problem, fixed it, was very friendly and knowledgeable.

I had purchased a used stove/oven. I did not think that the oven was working correctly. I had called Mark out to check it out for me. He checked burners out to make sure they were working. Then he checked the oven out and it was working properly. He also showed me what went wrong with the oven and what to look for. He said that if that was to happen it the future to give him a call and he would be out to fix it. I thought that I would have to pay a service call fee. But I did not have to pay. I will be calling him out again when I have any problems with any of my appliances.

Came when he said (just three hours after we called), assessed the problem (the oven would not heat on our gas stove), had the parts to fix it right on his truck, installed new parts, came and went - all in 20 minutes. Wow! Best repair service ever.

Mark was very responsive to our phone message and did the repair to our washer and dryer in a very efficeint manner. I was referred to him by several people in our neighborhood and I am very happy with the work he did and would definitly call him again.

The oven would not turn on, but the stove burners worked. We called Mark's Appliance, describing our problem and fearing it was time to buy a new stove. On the phone, Mark said it sounded like an ignitor and said he could fix that right away. He came the next day and replaced the ignitor quickly. Mark is knowledgeable, professional and friendly.

Out refrigerator stopped working and we called Mark's. He came quickly and was on-time. On examining the unit he found that a circuit board needed to be replaced and gave us an approximate cost and time-frame. He then went on to say that replacing the unit might be more cost-effective and quicker. He gave several brand name recommendations and left it up to us. We opted to replace. He charged NOTHING for his time and service.

Mark was knowledgeable, estimated cost to repair over phone. Was absolutely outstanding and efficient in providing the repair.

I would recommend him to anyone and will definitely call him for any future appliance repairs that I may have.

My refrigerator stopped cooling properly. The freezer was at 31 degrees instead of 0 and the refrigerator was at 68 degrees! I could hear some noise but it did not really "kick-on" like it usually did. You know how you get used to a noise and don't hear it but when it stops you notice. My neighbor recommended Mark at Mark's Appliance - 330-468-6057. I checked him out on Angie's List and he looked like a good choice. Mark returned my call on Labor Day, a holiday no less! I described the problem and he asked if I had a place to keep my perishables until the next day. Luckily I did and also I was off from work the next day. I think he would have come out on Labor Day if that had not been the case. We agreed on a time slot of 10:30-12:00 the next day. He said he had someone else scheduled earlier. He called me at about 11:00 to say he was 15 min's away. He arrived promptly, was very pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem as a broken fan motor in the freezer. He had a better quality replacement in his truck and my refrigerator was up and running within a 1/2 an hour! I have already recommended him to friends and relatives.

Called Mark when our 18-month old Maytag frontloading washer malfunctioned. He returned the call promptly and made several suggestions of cause, giving us the direction to fix it ourselves if we chose. We preferrred to have hom come out and he did, promptly within the windof of time we agreed on. Did the work quickly and cleanly and made preventative suggestions to avoid a repeat occurrence. He was friendly and personable.

Based on these two experiences, I can honestly say that I can't recall a service repairman/company I've used in my 45 years of adulthood that I have more trust and confidence in....not only to fix the problem in a timely and professional manner but to do so as cost consciously as could be hoped for.
