Mark's Appliance Service

Mark returned my voice mail within hours. He was out the same day, asked pertinent questions, identified the problem, had the element on his truck, replaced it, tested it, and all within 45 minutes. He was professional, courteous, and will definitely be my 'go to' person for any appliance repair in the future.

My dryer had been acting up for a couple of weeks when I finally figured out what was going on and hoped it could be repaired. I called Mark on a Monday, he returned the call on Tuesday and we arranged for a repair visit on Thursday. Mark said, based on my description, that he thought it was fixable and thought it was the burner coil. He said if he couldn't fix it, there'd be no charge for the service call. He came out, took the top off the dryer, replaced the burner coil and tested it for a few minutes. He also went outside to check that everything looked good with the vent. He guaranteed the work for 1 year. I've done about a dozen loads of laundry since the repair and the dryer works perfectly! I'm very pleased.

I called Mark to fix a broken handle on my dishwasher that was making the appliance difficult to use. Although the problem was minor, I was unequipped to fix it myself. Mark promptly returned a phone message that I left for him and scheduled an appointment. He arrived during the timeframe given, and was able to fix the problem immediately. He also offered advice regarding another aging appliance in my kitchen. Mark charged a very fair price for his time. The entire experience was very positive. I will certainly call Mark's Appliance in the future for large appliance service.

We have used him several times, he always does a great job but lately we haven't been able to get ahold of him. He has a great price, is very honest and has a free service call.

Arrived on time, replaced the "brain" of the fridge. That didn't fix the problem. Checked the compressor, recommended a few brands to replace it with. He didn't charge anything since he couldn't fix it. It was almost an hour of his time. I offered to pay him something for his time but said "No, thanks". Highly recommended!

Called Mark and he returned my call right away. I used him to repair my gas stove earlier this year the oven would not light. He was on time and very pleasant to work with. He finish removing the old dishwasher and garbage disposal and installed the new ones within an hours time. Cleaned up and recommended a soap to use with my model dishwasher. He always has helpful advise which I really appreciate. I will always call Mark in the future for any appliance jobs. Thanks for being a reliable contractor!

Did not charge for the service call since he said he just did an inspection. However, he did disassemble the unit to peer inside. In addition to prior service on our washer and dryer, we have used Mark's Appliance a few times over the past ten (10) years for service on our dishwasher and refrigerator and highly recommend them.

Since Mark did not show up or call to explain why or if he would show up, I had to call another repair person. I know he has a high rating, but I can't recommend him nor would I consider hiring him in the future. He is unprofessional and considering that it is his customers (who were all potential customers before they hired him) who provide him with an income, he should not be scheduling appointments and then not show up or call to give a reason. I find his behavior in this matter rude and unacceptable. My time is just as important as his, if not more so.

Our washer belt was replaced and Mark was very professional and honest. We appreciated his honesty about which appliances to replace as he could have just charged us to fix them instead. We will recommend Mark's business to all of our family and friends in the future. Thank you for your service!

I called on Monday when my washer stopped spinning. I collected a few other names from friends and relatives but never had a chance to call them because Mark got back to me the next morning. He said he could come out that very afternoon. He was here when he said he'd be, listented to the "spin" for 15 seconds and knew what it was. He said he had the part in the truck if it was what he thought it was. He wasn't here long but showed me the difference between the old (broken) original part and the new part which is stronger. The Whirlpool machine is probably 15 years old he said - it came with the house when i moved in last December. I was so pleased to have it fixed for $100! What a deal! Mark really knows his stuff and is incredibly nice, professional and knowledgeable. I've since passed his name around.

My call for service was returned promptly and an appointment was made withing 24 hours at my convenience.No problem securing an appointment after my work day. During initial phone contact Mark explained what he thought might be the problem and provided an approximate estimate of the cost. He arrived on time, diagnosed the problem and explained what would be necessary as well as the cost. My repair was completed in less than an hour. Mark was efficient and tidy, cleaning up completely after the service was done. I am very pleased with this job well done and would highly reccommend Mark's Appliance Service to anyone !

It was perfect. Fixed the problem quickly and didn't charge anything since he didn't have parts to replace. I really appreciated his time and honesty.

Mark provided options on either repairing my refrigerator/freezer or purchasing another one; suggestions were good and practical. In addition, he repaired/reset my garbage disposal. Mark is really nice and honest guy.

My boyfriend's refrigerator stopped working. Mark had done some work for me in the past, and I suggested that we call him. Mark was very quick to respond, very helpful and responsible, and his rate was very reasonable. We will definately use him again.

Dryer stopped working. Ee suspected it was the belt. Contacted Mark's Appliance and he made an appointment to come out. He acknowledged it was the belt and replaced it. Very friendly and professional.

I highly recommend hiring Mark. He is extremely knowledgeable and fair. My refrigerator stopped working and Mark came to my house immediately. He had the part the refrigerator needed on his truck and fixed it on the spot! He gave plenty of helpful tips on my appliances. Mark also gave me the name of a friend who could help me with the garage door issues I was having. It was nice to have another person come out immediately with the same trust and professionalism Mark has!

Everything turned out fantastic. It was kind of tricky when it came to the installation do to pre-existing cabinets, but he got the job done and done well.

My old dryer stopped producing heat. Various people told me to have the vent checked, which I did; no problem there. I called a service provider who couldn't get here 'til the following week. Then called Mark's Appliance Service; he was able to come in the next day. On arrival, he took the dryer's service panel down and tested the smaller components, which were OK. However, the control panel was not working. Replacement for this part for the 29 y old Maytag unit would cost some $500, IF such a thing still even exists. Given its age, the unit probably wasn't worth repairing. Today I went out and bought a new one. Mark charged nothing for the diagnosis, a true rarity in this day and age. I was very pleased with his honesty and generosity, and, of course, would call him in a minute for any other problems!

This guy is A-#1. I left a message on his voice mail one evening and he called me back promptly the next morning. The next day he arrived at exactly the time he said he would, did a WONDERFUL job. I called around to find the belt myself and from Sears it would have cost $50 with shipping and had to wait at least a week to get it. Mark's appliance said don't worry, we have the part needed in the truck. A great guy and a great job. I would recommend him to anyone for any appliance repair. He gets rave reviews from me. And he was wonderful, wonderful with my dogs! Seriously, GREAT SERVICE at THE RIGHT PRICE.

Mark said fridge was not worth fixing. He did not charge for service call. I will use him next time I need appliance repair. Goodwill goes a long way with word of mouth and Angie's List.

I got Mark's name off of Angie's List. I called him on a Thursday and got his voicemail. His voicemail greeting indicated that they were experiencing a high number of service calls and wouldn't be able to schedule appointments until Monday. I left him a message and he called me back the next day. He asked about the issue I was having and attempted to help me out over the phone. We ended up scheduling an appointment for Monday morning. However, he called me on Saturday and told me he had time to come out if I was available. He came out and took a look at the washing machine. He found that there was possible an issue with main computer and estimated the replacement cost. I asked him additional questions about whether he thought it was worth fixing or if I should just replace the washer. I felt he was very honest about my options and I ended up deciding to just replace the washer. He did not charge for the visit.

I called Mark's Appliances and they were very responsive. Mark returned my call same day and gave me a few suggestions on how to resolve the issue myself. I setup an appointment to have them come onsite. He called a few days before our scheduled appointment and indicated they had time to stop by if it was convenient for us. He came out and helped us troubleshoot that a switch had been turned off. Once the switch was turned back on the dishwasher worked fine. I will definitely use Mark for any future appliance issues.
