He knew exactly what the problem was when we spoke to set up the appointment. He showed up in the time frame he gave. Did the work in a short amount of time. He was courteous and professional. A ++

He fixed the problem right away. He was on time & very professional.

Great! Diagnosed problem over the phone. Came prepared to swap out ignition and was done in a matter of minutes. Another job well done.

Mark did a great job repairing our gas range. We have been using his services for 10yrs and each time he has done a great job at a fair price. He is the best appliance serviceman in Ohio. Mark is the Man!

Our refrigerator stopped working. I had called another local repair service and was told the soonest they could get here would be 5 days from now. I found Mark on Angie's List and called him. He said he could get here the same day. He was very punctual and pleasant. He sized up the situation quickly and explained my options. Unfortunately, our refrigerator fits very tightly between the cabinetry and after great effort, he was unable to move the refrigerator in order to look at it. (He said that in 30 years, he has only seen this happen about 4 times!) I explained that I would have my sons work on moving the refrigerator--he said that all I needed to do was call him and he would be back the same day. My sons were able to move the refrigerator, so I called and Mark was back within 2 hours. (He replaced the motherboard and had the refrigerator back in working order in no time. He was reasonably priced and very easy to work with. I will use Mark and recommend him for appliance repair before any other in our local area.

He was quick to respond to my request. Called him late in the day and he was at my door early the next afternoon. He was honest and reset the breaker. He did not charge me for the service call.

Mark answered my request for service in a very timely manner and scheduled appointment for next day. He quickly repaired the panel cover. His charge was minimal and he has a very pleasant personality. I would certainly call him again if needed!!

He was excellent. When I mentioned that I was an Angie's List member, he gave me a discount. He was very efficient and very fast. He knew exactly what was wrong with it. He's very professional and informative. I have nothing bad to say. He's a very good contact. He called me quickly and he was there shortly after I talked to him. He was right on time.

He never charged me for coming to the house and diagnosing the problems. In the case of the stove, the problem probably has to do with the outlet that it was plugged into, so once I changed that, it worked. And the washer is not worth putting new hoses on (leaks) because it is so old and the motor is starting to go, too. He could have sold me a $90 hose repair, but advised against it. Instead, I will be buying a new washing machine.

Mark examined the area and gave his best estimate of the problem. He gave me options on how he could proceed considering cost (materials and extent of replacement) and worked efficiently and courteously. He offered to return if the problem was not corrected. No problem. The only reason I didn't give all items "excellent" is that he was hard to get ahold of.

Mark was extremely professional and helpful. He returned my calls quickly and stuck to his appointment schedule that we agreed to. In my situation, a lot of service people declined to work on my brand of laundry machine (Samsung), and hence couldn't really be bothered to help. Of the few other services that did respond, they quoted large costs up front ? without even without really diagnosing the problem ? or they wanted a flat fee for visiting. Mark didn't do either of those things. Plus he mentioned that he does annual training in order to "keep up" on the latest development with some of the newer model appliances and brands. As it turns out, I needed a replacement part for the locking mechanism, which Mark suspected all along. His cost came in right in line with what he suggested over the phone should we need a replacement, and he took his time to make sure the job was done right...opened the machine, checked for other issues, examined drainage/pump, etc. He even gave me a $20 discount because I help him out a bit moving the machine, and his work is fully guaranteed for a year. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mark, or to call him again if I had a problem.

The way Mark operates is the model all others should aspire to. No service call or diagnostic charge. No iffin or whiffin or "hourly" fees. No waiting. On both occasions we contacted Mark we got same day service. He diagnosed the problem free. Very clear professional explanation of problem, proposed fix and flat rate repair estimate that ended lower. A second time he diagnosed a refrigerator problem and was refreshingly honest about unlikely long term fix where others probably would've inappropriately fixed and run with the money..... Super fast, competent and very reasonable cost. Plus, Mark is truly a pleasure to deal with. My only regret is that we didn't find him years ago! We will never need to look further for a better appliance guy. There aren't any!

I was having a spin issue with my washer. I have used Mark many times in the past. He is very prompt in returning calls and can usually come that day or the next. He does not charge a service call and is always honest about the repairs needed and offers some great advice. After checking a few things, he determined that it was either a glitch in the computer or a poorly balanced load and it is working well now. The best part was that there was no charge to come out and analyze the problem! I have used his services in the past and will contunue to do so and recommend him to my friends.

Our clothes washer has stopped. I called and left a request to call me. I called again the next morning and left another request to call me. He called me a couple of hours later and left me a message to call him on his cell phone. I followed up with him on his cell phone three more times and asked him to call me to schedule my repair. He never responded at all. So I went with another Angie's List provider.

I don't prefer to use social media as a platform like this but Mark completely let me down in this situation. Not only do I still have a malfunctioning oven but I also have now lost access to my home warranty from the purchase of my home. I received approval from the Home Warranty company for Mark to order and install the part. Issue is I can only get reimbursed once the work is completed and I pay for the services. With Mark never returning my calls after we agreed to do the work, as mentioned before, I still have the oven issue and I'm going to have to pay a different company to complete the work and this will now be 100% out of pocket rather than covered by the warranty. I have no idea why this transpired so hopefully Mark can fill me in via Angie's List. At this point, I would not recommend anyone to use his services. He may do good work and be qualified but the lack of follow-through and responsiveness should push you in a different direction.

Mark was both professional and knowledgeable. He arrived promptly and surveyed our burner beginning with the most common possible problem and advancing to the most complex. He recognized that, because of the design of our commercial stove, the repair would require a factory specialist. He took the time to assure that we had the correct model numbers and information needed for correspondence with the factory specialist. He also volunteered to do additional research to help locate the model numbers of replacement parts. He was also very courteous in declining any payment for his time and service call. We would highly recommend Mark and will definitely call him for future repairs.

I've used Mark one other time in the past to replace a fan in our refrigerator and have not been disappointed. Mark promptly returns all phone calls and is an expert at quickly and accurately diagnosing appliance problems and solutions. For our oven repair, Mark quickly identified that source of our problem was a failing igniter (burners were not turning on appropriately to maintain oven heat while baking) and promptly replaced. Our oven now works like new! Mark is very knowledgeable and very professional -- I plan on using Mark for all future appliance issues and highly recommend his services!

He called back. We were really in a bad position because we were getting ready to go out of town and all of a sudden our washing machine wasn't working and my husband contacted a half dozen companies and we only got called back by two. He is also very busy but he was willing to be accommodating and he gave me a lot of information upfront about things to check first and then he had me do a couple of things and then I called him back and he came out. He applies the service call to the repair and he said that if he came out and there was nothing wrong or there wasn't anything that he needed repaired he wouldn't have charged for the trip out which is pretty unique. He very knowledgeable, provided plenty of information upfront even without me having to ask.

Came at convenient time to diagnose problem, returned when part came to do repair. Clear, direct, gave excellent explanations.

The freezer section of our side by side Frigidaire was pooling water inside and building up at the bottom. I left a message for Mark based on his Angie's List reviews and asked for him to make a service call. He called me back promptly, and within a few minutes on the phone had diagnosed the problem as a frozen drainage line. He recommended that we defrost the unit for 12 hours in order for the line to clear, then start it again. We did this and it solved the problem. There was no charge for this service. I recommend Mark, and will look to hire him in the future.

Mark evaluated the problem of the dryer not going around. He recommended replacing the belt and pulley. He said the dryer is worth fixing and it should last us a long time.

It worked out very well. He came in the evening and the repairs only took him about half an hour. I got several estimates, and his price was about half of his competitors.

Mark called me back regarding service on LG washer and dryer, which he said he does not do, but gave great, detailed advice about the direction I should go in! I will definitely be calling on him in the future when it comes to other appliances.

Same day service, which is very much appreciated; replaced heater which was also a relief vs. replacing with new appliance altogether. Was a bit off on estimating how much time before service call and arrival, but not terribly.
