Mr Michael Bruce is not only a true professional but extremely creative, responsible and kind. He faced the challenge of the adaptation of our kitchen counter top (from the 60's) to fit a new model of cook top. He was always proactive and receptive. Looking at his portfolio, his work is not only "practical and well designed" but also artistic...it looks like he loves to work with wood. His input in design and materials was priceless.

My refrigerator needed to be moved to a pantry area and new custom cabinets installed in that space. Pantry area was refinished, water line and electrical outlet had to be moved for the refrigerator. The soffit was removed and new cabinets were designed, build and installed by Michael and look amazing. Michael is very talented, detail oriented craftsman who takes great pride in his work. I am very pleased and would highly recommend and use him again. Love my new kitchen.

Mike has done several projects for me over the years. He made cabinets and mirror for our upstairs hall bathroom. He also made a breakfast bar with lighted wall cabinets. His latest project was to build a bar in our basement. This was a truly special project. I am so pleased with the quality of craftsmanship. It is better than what you can get ordering through a cabinet manufacturer - even the high-end ones! Mike has great design ideas, and takes tremendous pride in his work. I highly recommend him!

Mike put together a custom bench for our bathroom remodel. It fits PERFECTLY under our fireplace and looks like it's been there forever. I was hemming and hawing over what exactly I wanted, so when I finally decided there was a little bit of a time crunch. Mike took it in stride and got my project done in the small window we now had. He was so easy to work with, and his work is outstanding. I hope to have him come in and build some more items for me in the not too distant future. Michael was subcontracted to me by the company that did my indoor remodeling. Michael called right away to set up an appointment. He was very helpful in my selection of a custom cabinet design, color, hardware, and shape of sink. I am extremely happy with his work. The cabinet is perfect. Michael shows pride in his work.

Everything turned out just the way I wanted it to.He made a beautiful wooden table to replace the old one. In addition, he improved the look of the space itself by making the table blend seemlessly into the wall. The original look had had a gap between the wall tiles and the built-in. Yes, I would hire him again and will recommend him to others.

Excellent! Mike responded to my request the same day and was able to accommodate my schedule. He went above and beyond by coming out on a holiday weekend to complete the project knowing that we were hosting a large event the next weekend. Mike is friendly,fair, courteous, conscientious, and efficient. He explained all of the products and processes that he would be using in lay mans terms, was very cost effective yet offered me a number of options to choose from, providing estimates based on those options. Mike came equipped with all of the necessary tools and product for the projects and did a terrific job maintaining, cleaning up and securing his work site. . It's so refreshing to see someone who is truly passionate about their craft and the satisfaction of his customers, performs the job to code, and does not cut corners. I would highly recommend and hire Michael again.

Outstanding! I have been having trouble with two kitchen drawers off an on for at least two years. The last carpentry specialist that came patched the drawers and they seemed to work fine for about three months. Again, the problem arose I called Michael and he came within a week and repaired the cabinets (not patched) he also reinforced the drawer for it to be a bit more sturdy. His final price was more than fair, and I would recommend him to anyone needing carpentry work!

Michael was extremely helpful with ideas and suggestions. He was able to accomplish it all while staying within my budget. The finished product is beautiful, while being very functional.

Our job was small but I would highly recommend Mike for any wood working job. He is very responsive and easy to work with. He was able to put together a solid and high quality door strip by using photos and measurements we sent him. It far exceeded anything we were able to find in any store and his price was far better. He has a lot of contacts and was able to recommend some other contractors for other work we were considering.

While priced slightly higher per hour than other professionals I've used in the past, I'm certain that my overall cost was lower due to his outstanding efficiency. Strongly recommended.

Michael was great offering a variety of suggestions to stay within my budget. He did a beautiful job building some new cabinets with frosted glass in the doors. He also installed 2 pull-outs for lower cabinets. We would definitely hire him again for other work.

We found Michael on Angie's List and had him come to our house for a consultation. We described the new cabinets we wanted and the remodeling and customization of existing cabinets. We were very pleased with his expertise and design during the consultation and were very excited to work with him. We are so happy with his craftsmanship, design, responsiveness and professionalism. The brand new custom cabinets he created look beautiful next to our existing cabinets. The detail is incredible and he found hardware and granite counter tops that match the granite and hardware on our other cabinets so well that no one has noticed they were installed 7 years apart. We have an oversize cabinet that housed two wine fridges. Michael converted them into six pull out drawers that turned out just as we had imagined. The custom doors he built on that cabinet blend so well with the other pre-existing cabinet doors on the adjacent cabinets. It's hard to describe all the attention to details and small design nuances that he considered. His experience really showed during the consultation as well as the execution of our cabinets and he made sure the final product was a beautiful addition to our space that blended seamlessly with our existing cabinets. He made additional improvements to the existing cabinets including new shelves and new toekicks. He also created a beautiful custom frame for house numbers for our front porch. I purchased tile house numbers abroad and was unable to find a frame that fit the intricately decorated tiles without having to cut them. Michael again created something beautiful that we love having at our home. We look forward to working with him on future projects in other areas of our home.

Mike did an excellent job and I couldn't be happier with his work! He rebuilt part of my wood mailbox and fixed my kitchen cabinets that were coming apart on the wall. I had a handyman and the cabinet company tell me the cabinets needed to be completely taken down and rebuilt. Mike was able to fix them on the wall and they are perfect. He definitely knows his stuff and he will be my go-to carpenter in the future.

Mike is awesome to work with. He is punctual and his attention to detail is GREAT! I have had Mike do another smaller project since this kitchen project, so of course I would use him again!! Mike made custom crown molding for our kitchen cabinets and installed them too! They turned out GREAT! Everyone that comes to our house now notices the big difference in our kitchen and they all comment on how nice the crown molding looks! The also like the back splash, but that another story!! Mike did a wonderful job in transforming our oak kitchen cabinets into new, fresh looking cabinets with hardware, trim and crown molding above the pantry doors. He built all of the doors and drawers with solid wood. Our kitchen has a totally new look ! He is very precise and conscientious about his work--it is very evident in the finished product. We would certainly recommend him to others and would utilize his services again.

My daughter wanted corner shelves in her kitchen at the end of one of her upper cabinets. As a birthday gift, we had mike build and install them. Her response after seeing the end result, "It is so much nicer than I ever imagined it could be!" We were all thrilled with his work and he is a pleasure to work with. Mike was professional from bid to completion of the job. In the bid process he gave me alternatives to choose from and then gently steered me to the most cost effective option. The estimate was agreed only after careful inspection and measurements - all on the first visit. The job went as promised despite some difficulties. The kitchen looks great now.
