Driveway started deteriorating after 6 months sprawling and cracking he finally came out to look at it he said it this should never have happened it was probably bad cement I even offered to help pay for new cement and he would not do it all I know is I didn't buy the f****** cement or it's poor workmanship this guy's got to be kidding beware !!! Had a driveway put in a year ago. It is cracking and now he will not call me back. Do not use...unless you like a nice driveway for under a yea.

Lozinak and Sons did eventually fix the problem after me reaching out to the North Olmsted building department, multiple negative reviews on different website and my father in law contacting them (he initially recommended them because they went to school together). It still took months for them to come out and fix the problem after promises of “hey I’ll check it next week” and never showing up. The hassle it took for them to finally do the right thing makes them not worth it.

If you need a new driveway, you owe it to yourself to contact Lozinak & Sons. Hard-working and efficient, their finished work is top notch! We are so very pleased with our new driveway! Jerry listened to all of our concerns, and the outcome was even better than what we imagined. (Yes, they are sometimes a bit hard to reach...but only because, it seems, that they are always on a job.) We highly recommend Lozinak & Sons!

I called twice, leaving voice mails each time. My calls were never returned.

Jerry and his crew went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with the project. His crew were well mannered, and he communicated effectively with us. We are very pleased with our new driveway and garage floor, service walk and sidewalk. Everything is aesthetic and sound; these guys know their trade.

Lozinak was 45 minutes late for the appointment to give us a quote on a new driveway. He took the measurements, described what he would do and then announced he needed a day or two to come back with the quote. BTW, he never called with the quote. He wasted our time. Beware.

Jerry and his crew do a great job. He is in high demand so patience is needed with scheduling job, but he does his best with giving an estimated start date. He has always answered or returned my phone calls. Highly recommend.

After some difficulty reaching Mr. Lozinak and setting up a time for him to come quote my driveway, Mr. Lozinak arrived 2 hours late. He did call to request a later time but only after I contacted him to find why he missed the appointed time. A thunderstorm was imminent, so the visit was rushed. Mr. Lozinak barely made it back to his truck as the downpour began. I have not heard from Mr. Lozinak since then. I feel this is an indication of the type of service to expect if I hired him, so I will not call to find out what went wrong. This is a shame because I called Lozinak based on the excellent quality I saw in a neighbor's driveway.

The best job I've ever seen. Had it done for a few years now. Not a crack or imperfection anywhere. He did my drive, sidewalk, and stamped concrete patio. Took about a month before he could start the job but once they did in was completed in three days. One full day was lost waiting for the city inspector to approve the pour. Jerry always got back to me when I called. Crew was very professional and friendly. Did an excellent job and left the area clean when they were finished.

Lozinak and Sons did a great job repaved my concrete driveway. During the spring, the company was dealing with weather issues (constant rain) but were able to finish the job in a timely manner (meaning that I didn't have to wait until summer). Owner Jerry was involved in the entire process and even stopped by a few times to check work and answer questions. Many neighbors have remarked about their work and attention to detail. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

It went very well. They were very clean and timely. They were also very professional.

We had been experiencing water in our once finished basement for years. Contacting Lozinak and Sons, Inc. was one of the best decisions we ever made. The owner, Jerry, was quick to respond, coming by the next evening. He accessed the situation, clearly explained the route he would take to find the problem and correct it, and prepared a written proposal that evening for us. He stated work would begin in about two weeks, but could be sooner depending on the weather. He was true to his word as he and his team were here within a week. He also tended to the needed permits. I was a little nervous thinking of the excavator being in the close quarters of the garage (Jerry had to duck down on the excavator every time he drove in and backed out of the garage) but they worked it out just fine. Our old house threw a few curveballs their way, but Jerry always knew what to do to correct them. For example...after excavating, Jerry discovered that our basement was originally a crawlspace and that a prior owner had dug the basement from the inside. The basement wall was built along the interior line of the foundation of our house, not supporting our home. As if that weren't enough, the poorly built basement wall which was constructed out of various blocks and bricks lacked proper mortar and was like a sieve. Lozinak and Sons installed reinforcement jacks, properly mortared the wall, and after passing inspection completed the waterproofing of the wall. Unfortunately for Jerry and his team, our old home wasn't done with them yet. After hand digging beyond the depth of where the existing drain tile should be, hand digging underground beyond the perimeter of the rear of the garage, they finally found the downspout on the rear of the house where drain tile should be connected ...it was left unconnected with a large rock shoved in it. Finally able to connect and lay the drain tile, they moved forward to the front of the house, excavated the front step and completed the connection between the new drain tile and the drain pipe connecting us to the storm line going down to the street. The work took them several days, during which Jerry and his team were always polite and hardworking. The finished concrete work looks wonderful. We had added an additional front step and a larger slab to the concrete work and it came out just as we had wished. It looks great! They always took time to explain to our curious minds what was going on and always cleaned up their work area at days end. Jerry or April always returned our calls/emails promptly and never left us guessing as to the next step. We are now over a year out from completion and have made it through the four seasons (and all the lovely rain us Clevelanders are used to!) without a single drop of water in our basement. Lozinak and Sons exceeded our expectations and we now look forward to refinishing our basement as a family room. Contractor never returns phone calls and has tendencies for no shows, please see above explanation.

Good at informing you about the job. Was punctual and got the job done quickly and on schedule. Cost was competitive. Good cleanup and it looks great. Had a little trouble scheduling as we missed the end of last season and were about first on the list this year. Never got a call to say it had to move to the Spring. It rained after pouring the concrete and part was covered with plastic which has a slightly darker color. But I can live with it. Wish he had provided a handout on when you could drive, park on it, etc., other that saying "a week." Also would have liked info. on sealing it and other do's and don'ts. Overall I would recommend.

We have used Lozinak in the past and will use them in the future. They are a busy outfit so work has to be scheduled in and we understand that with no problem. All work on this sewer installation was done professionally. We're very satisfied with the installation which had to pass a very stringent local inspection. For a reasonable, previously-agreed-upon additional charge, Lozinak also took care of some unrelated drain issues on the property including the repairing of a damaged catch basin and the replacing of some damaged drainage pipes.

They were awesome. They came when they said they would. They did a beautiful job. I would recommend them.

They were very professional and very detailed about what they would do, but I chose to go with someone else that provided me with a cheaper price. They came the same day I called to give me the quote and showed up right on time. I would definitely consider using them in the future.

This contractor has an excellent reputation for craftsmanship, thoroughness and those little extras that make certain contractors stand out. As a result, Lozinak & Sons is always in demand. They will fit your project in, but because of their popularity some patience may be required - but you will be rewarded with fine workmanship. I rated "Responsiveness" a "B" only because they are busy and occasionally hard to reach, but that wasn't a major issue. Otherwise, all the "A"s are well deserved.

The overall experience was great. We had decided to get a new driveway within the next year, but after receiving an estimate that was better than expected, decided to have it installed right away if possible. Due to the time of year (November) it was necessary to get started right away. We spoke with Jerry on a Wednesday night and he was able to start the following morning. He and his crew showed up right on time and the job was completed as promised. We are very pleased with the entire experience. They did everything that was promised and were professional and courteous. They cleaned everything up and Jerry showed up a few days later to make sure we were satisfied.

The patio looks great. I changed my mind about one or two things and Jerry was always willing to stop by and go over my changes. The job took a little longer to "finish" up because of rainy weather but all in all I'm happy with project. It was done as soon and as quickly as possible once started.

Our experience with Jerry was awesome. He is a busy guy so give a couple days for him to get back to you. The patio is absolutely gorgeous, and I am so happy. The finished product with stamping looks like real stone. It is beautiful! They were professional and did a great job. Would definitely use them again.

THEY WERE PROMPT, VERY FAST AND VERY THOROUGH. THEY WERE $1400 LESS THAN TWO OTHER COMPANIES. THEY WERE VERY PERSONABLE, HARDWORKING AND THEY CLEANED UP WELL.
