Very good experience. He presented with his crew for the job shortly after I called back to hire him for the job.

Tony and his crew did a fantastic job. He came out right away to check the chimney and bid. His bid was right in line with the other masons, but he was much more thorough in his description of the work and the problem. Because the roofers were waiting for Tony, he had to start and finish in short order. His crew stayed late and they were able to work within the tight timeline and finish right on schedule. In terms of quality, Tony took the time to make sure he chose bricks that would match well with the bricks on my 75 year old home. They rebuilt chimney looks great. His crew cleaned up and left the job site immaculate and they were very careful and professional throughout. They made a second trip out to seal the chimney when they finished. I have two pieces of advice to offer from this experience: (1) If you have masonry work, call a proper mason (my roofers wanted more than twice what Tony quoted and they did not sound like they knew what they were doing) and (2) if you have masonry work give Tony a call; sure he's a mason from Boston, and as a Cleveland sports fan, that's pretty rough, but Boston's built entirely out of bricks and has tough building codes, so he knows exactly what he's doing.

Our mailbox was sheared off it's post and our brick lamp post, at the end of the driveway, was pushed from it's foundation and damaged when a neighbor's car ran into both structures this past winter. Tony was very prompt and thorough in coming to our home to provide us with an estimate and worked closely with us and our neighbor's insurance company to arrive at a settlement amount. Throughout the process, Tony kept in contact with us and was prompt in scheduling our job the moment the ground thawed so that we could get the brick lamp posts rebuilt to restore lighting to the end of the driveway and re-establish mail service to our home once again. Tony and his crew were very professional and their masonry work is outstanding. They worked very fast and efficiently and their clean up after the job was very thorough. We would definitely work with Tony and his crew again! I HIGHLY recommend this company!

Called for estimate/ made an appointment. He was over an hour late. I had to leave, he was to come back the next day at 9a. Never showed/ never called.

Tony came out and gave an estimate. He seemed honest and fair in his estimate. We went with him based on other reports and his thoroughness in his review of our house. His estimate was on par with other ones we had received. Overall, the work was done to our satisfaction and the crew was in and out in a day. We will use him when we rebuild our chimney next summer.

Advance Masonry was not the lowest bidder nor the highest, but Tony had great responsiveness. Excellent workmanship on all the brick and mortar work. We were a little apprehensive about the fireplace because his employee had no previous experience with the Culture Stone, and there may have been room for improvement on the fireplace, but we were happy with the results. We receive many compliments from visitors.

Tony was very prompt and responsive to my initial call for a quote on the repair work. He was also very thorough in explaining what his quote included. However after having a couple other masons provide quotes, it seemed like he was doing the ''cadillac'' level repair when the ''chevy'' was sufficient. As a result his quote was over $1000 higher than what the other two masons quoted.

My experience with this company was great. The first time I met with Tony was in January 2006. It was a joy to meet him. I showed him straight to the chimney, because we had previously talked about the problems that I was having with my chimney. He told me that I would need my chimney rebuilt from the roof up & that would take care of the leak problem. On 4/11/06, the flue liner was installed & the chimney was rebuilt. Needless to say, I am very happy with the work; also I don't have the leak problem anymore. Tony's crew was on time, polite, & professional. Tony came to my home while the work was being performed. When the work was completed, they cleaned up very nicely. If I need any more chimney work done in the future, I won't hesitate to use this company.

BOOKED TENTATIVE APPOINTMENT DAY FOR CLEANING, & SAID HE WOULD CALL US ON THAT DAY TO CONFIRM THAT HE WOULD BE HERE OR WOULD RESCHEDULE FOR THE FOLLOWING WEEK. WE DID NOT RECEIVE A PHONE CALL & SPENT A SATURDAY WAITING AT HOME FOR A POTENTIAL APPOINTMENT.

ABLE TO HANDLE ADDITIONAL WORK THAT WAS UNPLANNED. TONY CHECKED AND REVIEWED IT THROUGH THE WHOLE PROJECT. BID WAS THOROUGH. COULD HAVE CLEANED UP A LITTLE BETTER OVERALL, BUT NOT A BIG DEAL.

I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THE QUALITY OF THE WORK OF TONY'S CREW. THESE GUYS ARE TRULY EXPERTS IN THEIR FIELD. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A MASON FOR ANY STONE WORK OR TO BUILD A CHIMNEY, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

I GOT 6 ESTIMATES FOR THE JOB, AND 3 WANTED TO DO STEEL AND 3 WANTED TO USE ALUMINUM, WHICH IS A LOT CHEAPER, SO I HAD TROUBLE DECIDING. THIS SEEMS TO HAVE SOLVED THE PROBLEM OF MOISTURE IN MY ATTIC BEHIND THE CHIMNEY!
