The crew was very professional and efficient. We love the patio. It was well designed and high quality. We've used it for the past year and have no complaints. It's a great use of space and very low maintenance. We have received many compliments on the end product.

I called and left a VM. I received a call back from Mary, she was a very nice lady and we set up an appointment time that worked for both of us. Ron came out right on time for the appointment. Ron seemed very knowledgeable and brainstormed a lot of good ideas with me. He explained in detail how they do the base prep and other details of their work. I had a good feeling that they would do top quality work. I was excited to see what they came back with as it was them or one other contractor that I would likely end up going with. It's now been a month and I have heard nothing back. The other contractor got the job because he wanted it and showed me that. I didn't attempt to contact Surfaceworks back as I don't chase people to give them thousands of dollars. It seems like bad business to waste precious time on jobs that you put no effort forth on. My advice is this; it's worth having them out for nothing more than throwing some ideas around, just don't expect much beyond that.

They're great. They're the best. They charge us $34 a week for the yard services. The backyard work was about$4,000-5,000. Ronnie is creative and he's very particular so all the details are paid attention to. The price is very reasonable.

Go ahead and get other bids, but if you want a finished product that you can be proud of, choose Surface Works to do the job! These people are artists when it comes to constructing patios, walls or decks. No shortcuts here...these folks take extreme pride in their work. Ron, the owner, approached our job like it was his own backyard...he seemed as excited about our project as my wife and me. He came up with creative options which he shared with us, gave us time to think them over, and then worked them into the final plan he designed. Ron was there for the bigger parts of the job, and his foreman Tommy is just as capable if Ron is not present. All on the crew are just professionals. We are delighted with the final results and with the process that Ron communicated and guided us through. I highly recommend Surface Works!

Ron came out in 2011 for an estimate. We had a total of 4 estimates and he was the highest. I had seen a patio done by him and was impressed with his work, so we hired him. Because of the wet summer in 2011, he was behind on his work, so we were scheduled to be one of the first for 2012. There were some changes to his original quote, since it was really more than were willing to spend. He was suppose to contact us during the winter to finalize the plans. We met with Ron in early March and in the final plans a gasline was to be laid for the gas grill. Unfortunately, Ron's man for laying the gasline went MIA after coming out to check out the job. After several unanswered calls from us and Ronnie, we gave up and hired our own plumber to do the work. By this time the patio had alredy been laid down and the the grass replanted. It was not a big deal since they put a plasic pipe under the patio to run the line, but the new grass was disturbed and had to be redone. We were very happy with the job that was done. Ron's workers, Tommy and gang were awesome. They were punctual, neat and very easy to work with. The patio turned out awesome, a top notch job. There were little issues along the way, but Ronnie was always quick to respond to my calls and address the problems. I would definitely hire this company again.

Ron and his crew provided the design of the new fire pit area and blended it in with the rest of our hard scape. Our paver patio was refurbished using mostly existing materials and a sealer to give us a maintenance free patio that looks great. We also wanted an access from the patio to the yard. Ron came up with a design that complimented the materials used on the patio and the fire pit. We now have a wonderful area for our enjoyment and also for entertaining. The outdoor lighting has really added to the landscape features. Ron came out and discussed our use of the areas and listened to our ideas. He made some suggestions, made a design layout. Once we agreed with the plan, we were provided a quote. Ron and his crew were professional, showed up on time and performed to their quoted price. Hey were eager to insure that we were 100% satisfied with the job. And we are! We used this company when they first started about 8 years ago. We did not hesitate to use them again for this project. I am sure we will be dreaming up more projects and we will definitely make Surfaceworks part of that dream!

They did very well, everything worked out very good. The composite wood deck is more durable. He came over and he gave us drawings and I gave him drawings of what I wanted as well, and we were able to work out a project that worked well for the both of us.

WOW!!!! We cannot say enough good things about the work these guys did. Ron, Karl, and Tommy were wonderful, very professional and detail-oriented. Please do yourself a favor and look no further when thinking about who to hire, this is the company to go with!!!!!

Ron was very helpful, listened well to our concerns, and developed several possible alternative designs to meet our needs. He then worked on the job with some assistance, and they completed it on time, within budget, and with minimal disruption. I highly recommend Ron and his company.
