Excellent installation. Art is very knowledgeable about flooring and answered all of our questions.

The experience with Art was great! He was quick to respond to our initial request for an estimate and communicated thoroughly from the initial estimate all the way through the completion of the job. He showed up on time for the estimate and each day to work. He was extremely detailed in his work and cleaned up thoroughly each day. His personality is great and was a treat to have working with us!

Job was interrupted by need for new wood construction due to rotted wood. Given that, work was done timely, working around schedule of contractor (wood reconstruction) and plumber (new pipes).

I would highly recommend them to anyone. I think the guy who came out had better attention to details than I did. He was more of a professionalist than what we were looking for. He quoted us a price and he came in under that. The quality of his work is excellent. He was very professional, responsive and punctual. We would use him again in the future if needed.

Art was delayed a day for removal but called ahead & asked if it was alright. It was so no prob. there. He worked w/ me on the timing w/ the furnace. A half bath was involved so he removed toilet & replaced w/ new wax ring. Saved us from hiring a plumber!!!! He's a real nice guy, Jokes, friendly but still professional. However I think he needs a secretary/receptionist because his phone rings almost nonstop. Did a beautiful job (matching @ seams, cutouts, etc. Will hire again in a heartbeat. Will need flooring for rest of house in a year or so & will definitely call him!!! I would recommend a lot of notice (as I did this time) as he's a small company and booked through August right now.

Excellent. Art provided a thorough estimate and took extra time to determine what was needed. Art allowed me to buy my own tile for the kitchen so it would match the existing tile in our hallway and foyer. The job took 3 work days as promised. Art stood behind his estimate for the tear out even though it was more time consuming than he originally thought due to an extra layer of flooring that needed to be removed. The floor turned out great and we will be using his services when we are ready to tile our master bathroom.

Art installed carpet in our hallway. He prepped the hallway first, which required a great deal of work. Then he installed tile in the kitchen, dining room and laundry room. He was very much a perfectionist when it came to his work. Art finished on time, five days.

I found A and W on angies list called the next day and Art responded the very same day. He came to our house when it was convienent for us and was extremely knowledgeable and professional. We hired him for the job and he was able to fit us in his schedule within two weeks. The work he did was awesome. The tile was extremely difficult to work with, which is why my husband and I did not attempt it on our own. He was at the job from 9am to 8pm so he could finish in one day for us. The price was exactly the estimate and the work was done by a true perfectionist. We were sooo glad we hired Art to install the tile. Thanks A and W

Called Warren for an estimate. Explained what work he would do and suggested a flooring company to select the vinyl sheeting from. After the material was selected, Warren sent us a detailed estimate. It was a fair price, so we set up an appointment. Warren and his crew arrived on time and completed the work in one day. Warren and his crew are courteous and efficient. Everything you would expect in a contractor.

This company is everything you could ask for in a contractor. Their results are magnificent, and I might run out of space before listing all the reasons they are the best choice for any flooring needs. To name a few, A&W had exceptional standards and high-quality work, very reasonable prices, were timely, courteous, honest and reliable. The A&W crew arrived exactly when they said they would, cleaned up after themselves and left a floor that exceeded our expectations. I will most definitely use them again, and recommend them to anyone with a flooring need.

I was contacted by Warren as a reference from another highly-rated contractor on Angie's List who did not service my area. Warren called the same day and although we told him we weren't in any hurry, was out within a couple of days to look at our shower and to give an estimate. Tiles in our shower had begun to pull away from a half-wall and were deteriorating on the step into the shower. Warren told us that he was not sure what he would find when he took off the tiles, but said that there may not be a shower pan since our house was built in the late 1980s. He also informed us that finding tile to match the existing tile (which covers our bathroom from floor to ceiling height) would be difficult and that it was unlikely that we would find a perfect match. Warren said that, best case scenario, it would cost $500.00 plus materials. Warren dropped off tile samples to my husband's office within a couple of days and we found a sample that looked close. Warren had to special-order the tile and gave us an estimate of $850.00. We scheduled the work for about a month out, when we returned from vacation. When Warren and John removed the tiles, they found that the step had been constructed of wood, it had deteriorated and needed to be rebuilt of brick or concrete. They also found that, indeed, no shower pan had been installed. Warren gave us the option of having the step rebuilt and the area re-tiled or having a new shower pan installed and the step and floor rebuilt in addition to the re-tiling for $2,500.00, which we decided to do. Warren had to order a second box of special-order tile for the walls. He also had to order floor tile for the shower floor. When the floor tile went in, I did not like the color. Warren provided me with samples of other special-order tile and I chose one. John picked up the tile in Cleveland the next morning so that everything could be finished on schedule. Even though the job required an additional box of wall tile and changing the floor tile obviously required additional time and materials, Warren did not charge me anything in addition to the original estimate (even though I had told him I understood there may be additional cost due to the changes). Even though the tiles were difficult to match, my husband and I both agree that it now looks better than the original. We couldn't be happier with the workmanship or end result. The emphasis was always on making us happy, and it shows.

When I called to request an estimate, Warren was very responsive and accommodating to my schedule. He arrived on time (in spite of a snowstorm) and took time to understand what I wanted and to explain options to me. His estimate was lower than another I had received, and seemed reasonable to me for the work. Through him, I had access to the flooring showroom to select the vinyl flooring I wanted. He was able to schedule the work within two weeks, and completed the work in 2 days with the assistance of his partner. I am very pleased with the result. Overall, I would highly recommend A & W Flooring to anyone. Warren was good at communicating throughout the process, from first contact through completion (i.e. called to confirm appointments, etc); the price was reasonable; he and his partner were meticulous in their work and cleaned up the area well after completion.

They were on time to the point that I was notified that on the final visit to put on a piece of trim he would be about an hour late. The people doing the work were very polite, the kind of people you don't mind inviting into your home. The workmanship was excellent.

I am so thrilled with the results! Warren contacted me promptly and came out the next day to give me an estimate. He also gave me some great ideas about tile designs and the correct way to install tile. The installation was scheduled soon after I chose the tile. All the workers were prompt, professional and neat. The new tile and grout looks amazing!

First, Warren responded very quickly to my phone call. He made an appointment and showed up on time! This is a plus because most contractors I have dealt with work on their schedule and aren't punctual. When Warren came out to spec the job he told us that he would do the job the same way as if he was doing it for himself. That belief was carried through by both guys who did the installation & grout work. I am so impressed with the quality of work. In addition they were very mindful about not tracking in any dirt onto my newly refinished hardwood floors. They laid down drop cloths for foot traffic. When the job was finished remaining tile was stacked neatly. A & W Flooring did an excellent job, on time, and done right. I will definitely use them again. If you need tile work done this is the company I would recommend.
