crew on time, no nonsense workers, happy to help me with extras, and good job with mold removal. left site clean and neat. all very pleasant and business-like. because owner encouraged me to remove lots of "stuff" I no longer needed and helped me do this, I now have removed even more I did not realize was there. Would definitely recommend this group again to anyone.

Rick and his crew were great. Rick presented a detailed proposal and reviewed it with me. His suggestions on the work to be done were valuable. His team was careful with my possessions, and they followed my wishes on items to discard and those to keep. When they identified areas and items that required more radical remediation than initial impressions, they consulted me before proceeding further. Rick had advised during the proposal process that more action may be required once they started removing materials, and his predictions were correct. He is knowledgeable and courteous. His team members were also helpful, diligent and pleasant. They worked fast and finished sooner than they had expected, Rick was flexible on scheduling and very accommodating, I recommend his service.

Dutch's Mold crew arrived exactly at the appointed hour. Rick, the owner, and the crew inspected the job, decided where to start and how to start. Since there were moldy objects to be removed they consulted with me about what was to be removed, then carried it all to the garage for me. Each person knew his/her job and did it efficiently and professionally. Rick ensures that everything is done properly. If an issue arises it is resolved immediately. They put down drop cloths where needed and cleaned up afterwards. Everything was even cleaner than when they started. I would recommend them.

I contacted Dutch's through a message using my Angie's List account. Rick sent me a reply the same day. We traded notes, then spoke on the phone, and set up an appointment time for him to come to my house. He called the day before to confirm the appointment time was still convenient for me, and arrived on time the day of. He was pleasant, informative, thorough, and professional. Rick explained what he was looking for during the inspection; and gave me tips on things i could do to avoid developing mold in my house. He also gave me a written copy of those suggestions.

Everything went great and the all the work was finished in one day. Rick and his crew were a pleasure to work with. Any questions I asked were answered. Rick did some work that was not listed in the contract (removal of the old humidifier and the sealing of the hole left in the wall and disposed of a water softener tank without charging extra money). I would certainly recommend Rick and his crew.

Stated no problems with home ... Questioned him about attic .. He stated he couldn't assess it he was too big to go up in opening .. The house garage and surrounding structure was infested with termits .. The wiring between the three units were crossed and wired into different boxes ... So nonne of the apts had true reading on an individual bases.. There was a lot of old knob and tube wiring which has caused many problems .. It was just very poorly done and very unprofessional!! Can't believe the state does not investigate these professional better !!! Find someone on your own and look for the qualification that meet your needs

Rick helped us figure out that there was water coming in between our sunroom and our library. He made recommendations about what to do until we could get a contractor out to rip out the damaged area and repair it. He was also very helpful in making suggestions on talking with our insurance company and said he would be happy to talk with them.

The provider and crew arrived as scheduled. They removed drywall up to four feet from the basement floor (it will be easier to replace since drywall comes in 4 x 8 foot sections). All debris was carried out of the house to a dumpster for later removal from the site. The provider covered all walkways in the house with tarps in order to protect carpeting and flooring from damage and they carried out the mold covered debris. After chemically treating the affected areas, they cleaned up all dust and wallboard trash and left the house in good shape. We have not seen any recurrence of mold since the work was performed. The folks that we dealt with were both courteous and professional.

It was very good. They were very professional. The owner, Rick, explained everything very thoroughly. The two workers were very courteous and professional.

The job was something I needed to have done for years and was finally able to manage it. I wasn't disappointed. Rick and his crew were punctual, professional and thorough and I would recommend them to anyone. Rick always communicated quickly and that is unusual these days.

My appointment was scheduled for 2:00 pm. Rick called and asked if he could come earlier, which worked out perfectly for me. He arrived promptly, identified himself and was very cordial and professional. He was also very patient with my many questions. Rick thoroughly inspected the basement and discovered the source of the moldy smell, the source of the water on the basement floor and he also pointed out the existing mold along the basement walls. After agreeing to test all three levels of the home, Rick went about setting up his equipment and capturing air quality samples. He promptly e-mailed me a copy of the results which were self-explanatory. The test results indicated highly elevated mold spores of many varieties not only in the basement area, but also on the main floor and in my bedroom on the second floor of the home! Armed with this information, I am now able to proceed with eradicating the problem and protecting my health from further harm. I appreciate his service so much. Thanks.

My phone calls were promptly returned but we couldn't get our schedules to sync and we ended up going w/ another provider.

He was excellent. We had him out and gave us information. They were good. He gave us an overview that we were not questioning with their home. His professionalism and information that he gave us, he was just a good man to deal with, and he was knowledgeable. He was looking for any problems like he did not think that something was an issue and said that it was highest stuff of China but it was not true.

We had a silent leak from the water line into our refrigerator that ran for several weeks before detection. Rick from Dutch Mold inspected the area and provided a thorough report with recommendations. He indicated he does not perform the remediation work himself. Our take was that this gave him a level of independence and objectivity to fairly assess any potential damage. We were very happy with his work.

Rick and his crew were very professional, took care to use drop cloths and air scrubbers while doing the work. All appointments were kept on time, and overall I was very satisfied with what they did. After the inspection and air testing appointment, the work took two days. I would recommend them to anyone.

He was very thorough. He didn’t rush. He did an excellent job. He was very honest. I was very impressed. He didn’t see any mold and didn’t charge me anything. I really liked him.

They removed and replaced the roof boards and did some chimney caulking and flashing work also. It was satisfactory.

Rick was able to get his team into the house on a very short notice. He consulted me, answered all the questions and made us comfortable with buying the house in spite of the issue. His team cleaned up the attic, painted it with mold-resistant paint and cleaned up ventilation to prevent any future mold development. He even provided a warranty on his work for 3 years. We were very pleased with the results and with his personal attention to our problem. We would definitely recommend him and his company.

We bought the house 2 years ago but never had access to the attic. Last week we put in a set of attic stairs and found the mold problem. We called Rick on Thursday and told him the situation. He came out today to look at the mold problem and give us an estimate for clean up. He showed up on time took a look in the attic and then we sat down to talk. Rick is not the kind of Business Man to push services that you do not need. We explained that we are planning on getting a new roof sometime in the next couple of years and he responded by saying not to clean up the mold now unliess it is bothersome to us. He said it would be a waste of money because when they put the new roof on and put new nail holes in the attic the mold could start again. He also said we could use the attic as long as anything we put up there is protected by a plastic tote or garbage bag that is duct taped shut. His estimate of the work to be performed should we choose is very reasonable! Being very knowledgable in his field i asked Rick a few more questions about other items of concern I had and he took the time to explain each one of them to me. I will deffinately be giving Rick a call back when it is time to get the work done!

The process went well, as expected. He came on time for estimate, did work as indicated, very friendly, etc.. But the reason I am finally getting around to the review is the following. Just last week, two and a half years after the work was done we put our house on the market. I happened to encounter the home inspector as he was there collecting the radon detection equipment. He asked me about the work in the attic and said that in 18 years of doing home inspections our attic was the best that he has ever seen. Since this came was an unbiased observer I wanted to pass it along.

Excellent responsiveness (despite a crush of work from the same storm) and a wealth of knowledge in this area. We met with the owner, Rick, and he walked us through every step that his company would take in addressing the flood damage and mold growth. The DMI crew showed up early (but waited outside until the designated start time), set up blowers to ensure that air movement was maintained, laid down temporary walkways to minimize foot traffic and debris from removed materials, tested the entire perimeter of the basement for mold damage, cut out all areas of tainted drywall (leaving intact those areas that did not have mold) and provided excellent suggestions on alternative rebuilding approaches that might minimize the cost of repairs from a future flood. All of the spoiled drywall and moldings were carried out to a container brought onsite to our driveway, and the crew did a top-notch job regarding cleanup when they were through. The job was completed on time and for exactly the quoted price. We were exceedingly pleased with the entire project.
