I placed a call to Dutch's and received an immediate call back. I set up and appt and received a thorough explanation of what would be done. They came out on the day stated and finished the job neatly and clean. I added a job for rebuilding of the basement bathroom as stated above. I was pleased with the room except for the mudding of seams. The house smelled great afterwards and it's amazing that all the smells of an older home can be totally diminished after being sanitized, which was part of the procedure of the mold removal. This was great as it is a 55 year old home. The workers were respectful and the work was done in a reasonable amount of time.

Dutch's Mold Inspections LLC was contacted for an urgent estimate due to a complicated situation and time constraints. Several other contractors were also able to react as quickly to our request for an estimate but Rick Nesselhauf of Dutch's Mold Inspections LLC stood out well above the rest. He was extremely knowledgable and straight forward. Most importantly he was understanding and compansionate to our situation. His price was right in the middle of the other estimates but he also offered additional services compared to the others so overall he offered the most for our money. His work was completed as promised. He and his crew were very efficient and hard working. I was extremely appreciative of some extra touches that he did not have to do. Another plumbing contractor left the ceiling drywall all torn up and jagged. Although the ceiling in the family room was not mold infected, Rick cut a clean edge to the damage done by this plumbing contractor. I wish more contractors were as knowledgable, honest and caring as Rick Nesselhauf.

It went very well. I believe the box above says it all in terms of their knowledge, thorougness, and the ability to be as unobtrusive to the homeowner as possible given they often use a variety of esquipment. We were able to use our house as usual during the entire time

Rick was very nice and the price was exactly what he quoted us. We had some extra mold in one of the bathrooms and he took that out without charging us. He was very professional. We didn?t do any research regarding prices. We emailed him a couple of times and he always got back to us. They came when they said they would and we are very happy.

Outstanding experience. Owner Rick Nesselhauf and his friendly, hard-working crew were a pleasure to have in our home. They respected our property and were ever mindful of not scratching the paint or making a mess. They left things spotless at the end of the project. And they were entirely trustworthy as well. Rick is extraordinarily knowledgeable in this field, and could answer all questions and did so willingly. He always made time for my questions, comments, and mold concerns. His years of experience are evident when talking with him. He is a "Master Indoor Environmental Specialist" . I found Rick on Angie's List and received an "Angie's List" discount. His company is privately owned and personally operated so he is easy to reach and deal with. I absolutely recommend him without any reservation whatsoever.

I thought the work went well. The crew was on time, courteous, and thorough. The work was performed on relatively short notice and was completed ahead of schedule. I had many questions as we went through this process and Rick was willing and able to answer all of them. My home was cleaned up when they were done and Rick even checked back with me to make sure I was satisfied.

I got a prompt response from Rick at Dutch's when I requested an appointment for an estimate. We set up the date to inspect the mold situation at my Mother's home for the next day. Mold inspection was performed by Rick. He was very thorough, covering the entire house, basement through attic! He advised what needed to be done in order to correct the mold situation safely and completely. He took the time to explain what (and why) he does to remove the mold. He was the 4th company I had out to the house for estimates on the job to be done. I was very confident that he was the right guy for the job as he explained what procedures they used to rid the house of mold and sanitize it. The job was started promptly and he and his crew were very knowledgeable, curteous, friendly and thorough. AND tidy!! Rick kept in touch along the way during the removal and cleaning process to keep us well informed of the progress. The house is 100% better than before they started the job. AND there is also no more smell from a pet that lived there. Awesome! I am totally satisfied with the job they did at my Mother's home. It was amazing how clean the house was even in the midst of the removal!!! I highly recommend Rick and his crew. Thank you again for an excellent job, well done!!!!!!!!! I almost forgot to mention, they were the most reasonable price too!

Rick took air samples of the basement and did a thourough examination of the area. When the air samples came back extremely high with multiple types of mold he called us quickly to report the results and scheduled us within a week to begin remediation. He was very professional in scheduling and was always on time. The gentlemen who came to take our carpet out was very pleasant and professional and upon my request hauled much of the debris for a nominal fee. Rick made sure that he used a non-toxic natural product as he was aware of my concerns about toxins affecting my special needs son. Rick also santitized our heating ducts. He did follow up testing which showed that the mold had indeed been removed from the basement. The moldy smell which had been bothering me for a long time is now longer in our basement and we feel we have our basement back. One day he came to work at the house and my heater was not working while my husband was out of town. He took a look at it and figured what the problem was (access door not on correctly). He did not have to do this for me but he went out of his way to do it. I do have to say that mold remediation is not something that you have done everyday and this is the only time I have had it done, so I don't have anything to compare it to but I am happy I have found someone who solved my problem.

Contacted Rick to come and evaluate some mold concerns we had in our basement. He identified an area of mold growth and found the cause to be ductwork for a bathroom fan that had been improperly installed. Conducted 2 air tests in our basement to identify the specific types of mold present. Emailed all information to us including quotes and sample results. Made special arrangements to come before the holidays to treat the active mold before our guests arrived and then came back this week to complete the mold remediation and bathroom revisions. Rick is casual, thorough, and friendly. We only received 1 bid for this job, so we are not sure if his bid was competitive. Overall, we are very pleased.

We had some pretty bad leakage from ice freezing and thawing during the winter, January 2009. Once spring arrived I noticed some mold developing behind the wall. I had a couple people come out to take a look. Rick was one of them. I had requested that he work with a roofer to examine any potential problem areas. They worked very well together. They had to take out larger than anticipated sections of the kitchen walls. He was very thorough in his examination. He was professional and pleasant to work with. He was very knowledgeable, thorough, and precise regarding mold treatment. He seemed to really know what he was doing. He was very, very cautious in how he handled the contaminated drywall as to not spread it throughout the air. The construction worker he used was very professional and great to work with as well. His prices were very reasonable compared to others. I would recommend him to others very highly. Rick was very easy to get a hold of and communicated very well. He was also very patient and flexible with scheduling the work.
