Description of Work: Rick came out to do an mold inspection of the home. He did not believe there was much to be concerned about. He walked through the home and discussed with the home owner what he could do to eliminate mold. However the home owner did everything he suggested and the problem was not resolved. Not only was it not resolved it is a serious problem which may now cause home owner to have to leave the home. When I called Rick to further discuss the situation at that time he recommended a deeper cleaner and sanitation and took the time to discuss with me what the causes of the mold could be. I don't know why he did not do this at the time of the visit Now we are paying someone else to come out an access the situation.

He told me exactly how to remove it on the phone to avoid the cost of having to have a crew come out for a teeny tiny job. He was great to me with his advice and I will definately be calling him in the future for more serious mold issues!!

Work was thoro remediation ugh, professional grade, and cleanup was supurb. We were given an excellent reference for follow up carpentry work needed.

Description of Work: This was a wonderful first time experience using Angie's List. Rick arrived to do my estimate and reviewed with me the nature of all the work that needed to be done. He answered all my questions in a professional manner and in a way that I understood. He worked in a start date to fit my busy schedule..and that was appreciated! The work was performed approx. two weeks later...mold remediation in the attic. They arrived at 8:30AM...covered my carpet areas..removed all debris from attic...took care of the mold problems..very careful to clean up all areas inside and out..and on their way by 11:30AM. Very professional and knew what they were doing....Definitely would recommend to anyone in need of this kind of work.

Description of Work: We developed a mold problem in the attic due to excessive moisture build up from three bathrooms that weren't properly ventilated.We contacted Rick,the owner of Dutch's Mold Inspections, after seeing his firm featured in a previous Angie's magazine article.Rick came out and inspected the problem areas and came up with several good suggestions.His quote was very competitive and his crew showed up right on schedule.They completed the work in a very professional manner and left the work area in a clean condition. Description of Work: Rick did several jobs for me as I was quite pleased with the work he and his crew did. First I contacted Rick to fix a basement job that wasn't done right the first time. We had water in the basement in the summer of 2009 and the panelling and carpet was supposedly dried out. When our dehumidifier malfunctioned we got the annoying white mold. Rick & crew removed everything that couldn't be saved and treated what could be. He even got a larger dumpster for us as we were preparing for a move and had much to toss. He did such a good job I had him do a home inspection for the house we bought. He was quite thorough and gave us a discount on the inspection (in addition to the Angie's List discount). There was a minor mold issue in the new house and he treated that too.
