All Mark Fence

For fencing I used All Mark Dempsey. The workers and the office staff were okay overall. There were 2 guys, one was the helper and the other one was the owner Mark Dempsey and they were okay. They were on time. He has his own way of doing things, if he does a wooden fence in a certain way and that is it, he is not very flexible, he is very good but not very flexible. That includes the fact that he doesn't recover any dirt coming out the post when he digs so I had to do that. He tells you that he is not going to do it so I knew that upfront so that is fine. It was not a surprise. The price is okay.

Mark was prompt in responding to our request for an estimate . He was clear in explaining what the job would entail and what materials he would use. Within three weeks of the initial contact, Mark scheduled the installation and two days later the job was completed. He and his crew were careful, thorough and Mark did exactly what he said would be done. The fence looks great. It was a no stress pleasure to have our new fence built by All-Mark.

Had wooden privacy fence with gate installed on two sides of large backyard, and one 6ft section between our house and neighbor's house. We are very happy with the price, product, and customer service. Mark Dempsey does a great job of communicating with customers. Fence looks great!

It went well. Mark and a Fairview firefighter began the work at 9 am and just about finished in one day. The area for the fence was a considerable sized backyard. A week later Mark returned to finish the job (attached the three gates). Pricing was very competitive with other Angies List companies but I went with the lowest bid since Mark had such high ratings. I'm glad I did.

Tried twice to schedule an appointment for an estimate, first by emailing through the Angie's List contact link, and then, after receiving no response after about three weeks, by calling and leaving an answering machine message. I did not receive so much as the courtesy of a reply. The guy must not need the work. I then contacted Columbia Fencing, got an estimate, and scheduled a job.

Everything went well. All of the appointments were kept, and was done on time. Mark was professional as well as friendly. They did a great job with the installation. They cleaned up after each visit. The quality of the materials are top notch. Would highly recommend Mark to any one needing a fence

I placed two telephone calls requesting an estimate on a backyard fence. Recognizing that my first call (5/23/2014) was the Friday leading into the Memorial Day weekend and not hearing back, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and placed another call on 6/2/2014. As of this date I have not yet received a response to my voicemail messages.

Mark was here when he said he would be, did the job he said he would do and completed the job very quickly and with quality. The fence looks great. After he got the permits, he was here a couple of days later to set the posts. He came out that same week on Saturday, right on time, and with a helper, tore down the old chain link fence and partial wood privacy fence and built and installed the new fences and gate. I think they were only here a few hours. The new fence looks great and is very good quality wood, not the thin kind of wood you see at home improvement stores.

I would use Mark again. He was friendly and on time. The fence looks great.

Mark did an excellent job installing fencing in our backyard. We had the fence installed after purchasing the home in October and wanted a place for our dogs to be able to run freely without supervision. Believe we ran somewhere b/t 125-150 feet of fencing across three sides of the yard (neighbor had existing fencing installed on one side already). Our rating reflects our favorable view as we provided an 'A' for five out of the six categories that can be rated. The only category which we assigned anything less than an 'A' was the "Professionalism" category which we assigned a 'B'. Our rationale for this was that we were somewhat disappointed with the amount of dirt and cement that was left over from digging and filling holes for the fence's posts. Regardless, Mark was very easy to deal with from start to finish for the project. He was trustworthy, followed through with what he said he would do, punctual, accessible, willing to come down in price to meet a lower quote from a competitor and did high quality work. We strongly recommend him to anybody looking for residential fencing services.

The fence is approximately 325 Ft total in length. The job was done quickly and beautifully. It's held up great for the past year, even with big tree limbs around my yard falling on it with the weather. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

Mark returned our call promptly and came out to meet with us to discuss our issues and design plans. He worked to pull our permits with the city, waited until we had the yard surveyed and then built the fence as we discussed. He fit us into his schedule so we would have a fence along the property lines for privacy and to enclose our little dog as well asap. We are very happy with his workmanship, his professionalism and his flexibility dealing with our changes to the original design. He is hard working and the work was completed exactly like he proposed and quoted. Highly recommend!

This past Spring I obtained three estimates to have 230-foot of 6-foot privacy fence with two swinging gates installed at our new home. I hired Mark Dempsey from All-Mark Fence who obtained the proper permits and started the job exactly when he said he would. He had the fence posts dug & sunk on the first day. After letting the posts set and concrete cure, he came back on the appointed day and finished the rest. Quick, efficient and beautiful, the fence is strong and the lines are straight & square. Overall great job and we are very pleased with the outcome. Side note: Mark is true to his word and has an abundance of integrity. Long story short, he found a boundary issue on my property that took business away from him (and money out of his pocket) for six months and which would have caused me a lot of problems in the future. While I was upset about the property boundary problem, I?m glad Mark informed me and didn?t just build over it for a quick buck. Once the problem was resolved, I was able to re-schedule the job and Mark completed the work quickly. It's important to note that there was nothing Mark could do about the boundary line...that's was all left up to the lawyers. So to conclude, Mark is honest, timely, and knowledgeable. He communicates with the customer to let you know what he is doing and when it will be done. And finally, the end product is fantastic. I definitely recommend All-Mark to build your fence.

The overall installation of the fence and gate was fine. It was the mess that was left behind that I am really upset about. There was concrete left in my my mulch beds, concrete left in the grass and dirt everywhere where the posts for the fence were dug. After contacting Mark about the mess and clean up his response was " If there is alot of dirt around the posts that means there is a lot of concrete in the post hole" I explained to him that the dirt around each hole was 2 feet wide and a foot high. Mark told me that it is the homeowner responsibility to take care of the dirt and he would not come back to clean up the dirt or the concrete left behind. I expected to have to do some clean up from the dirt around each post., but 9 full wheel barrels of dirt had to be picked up and moved along with a 5 gallon bucket of dried cement. I couldn't imagine if you were elderly or couldn't do the labor from the mess that was left behind. Very poor customer satisfaction.

My job was small, only a 4' gate and about 24' of fence. The company may be able to offer a better rate on larger jobs.

The removal of the old fence and installation of the new fence went very smoothly. The post were installed on a Thursday and the fence was completed the following Monday. He hauled away the old fence. I am very pleased with his professionalism and promptness in getting the work done. I would recommend his services.

Mark came out to give a quote on repairing/replacing our existing fence and adding a driveway gate. He was prompt and professional and compared to others his quote was competitive. We decided to go with a repair instead of replacement so we chose another company due to cost.

The fence was installed in a timely manner once the permit was obtained from the city. Professional and quality work!

'Having a fence put in with All-Mark Fence was an extremely smooth experience from start to finish. Mark was very professional and punctual. He came out a gave me a free estimate and some good advice and never tried to sell me anything more than I needed. He and his helper put in the posts on one day, and returned in about a week and finished the job in approximately three and a half hours. He understood the problem I was having with a particular neighbor on one side and made sure my fence had no light coming thru. My fence is absolutely beautiful and I couldn't be more pleased with his work. I would highly recommend All-Mark Fence for any kind of fencing needs and would definitely use his services again if needed.

The company came out to out home on a monday and installed the posts. The posts settled for a few days and then the rest of the fence was installed on Friday.

The entire experience from the estimate to the installation was great, we didn't have a single problem. I called for an estimate, and Mark came within the week. The estimate was a little more than a few other companies, but he went through all of the utility and permit requirements which the other three companies did not (those companies also have A ratings on Angie's). The fence was up within a few weeks and we are very pleased with the material and look of the fence. The gates are easy to use and have done well with a 4 year old and 2 year old hanging and playing on them. I was home when he installed the fence and it was amazing to watch how detail oriented he was with measuring and making sure everything was perfectly level. He even cut part of a tree branch to make sure it was exactly right. He was great with his communication, even through his busiest season I am sure. Highly recommend Mark and his team, it is always wonderful to see the person giving us the quote and having all the years of experience be the one to also install.

The whole thing went very smoothly and quickly once we selected this company and the permit was obtained. The only issue was that some sprinkler heads/lines were hit. I DO NOT blame All-Mark for this as the lines were installed to close to the fence by the previous owner/sprinkler company. The fence has to go where it's going to go, you aren't going to build a crooked fence to accommodate the sprinkler system. I only bring this up to say that Mark was up front and honest about it and clearly marked the spots where the sprinkler system was an issue. All in a all, a great job done.

Mark was really great about working with my schedule since I work during the day. He left a quote for me after looking at the site and came back within about a week to sink the posts and then three days later to install the gate. He also offered a different product than other placed we had quote the job. The gate we had installed was a forged metal frame with wood boards. It looks great and really matches the aesthetic of the brick house and of the neighborhood in general. He even came back on a seperate occaision to collect payment because I was not going to be able to be there when he was installing the fense. Definite recommendation. I will be calling him again if we have any other projects!
