STEVE'S HOME MAINTENANCE

Steve installed a new kitchen sink faucet and sprayer as well as a new bathroom shower head. He had a bit of extra work under the kitchen sink to extend a connection. He also retrieved the heavy glass insert for my front storm door from the garage and installed it. I have tried and been unable to do that myself since I moved into my house a year ago last May. On his previous visit, and my first meeting with Steve, he checked over my furnce and ensured that it was in good working order. I showed him through the house and noted areas of concern an HVAC company had pointed out. Steve checked over everything. The master bedroom cold air return vents had been blocked by the previous owner of the house. Steve removed the block and reconnected the return as it should have been.

Went very well, Steve called back quickly and came over right away. Repaired system.

Steve arrived on time, fixed the leak and was, as always, a true professional. We have used Steve for years and I can't say enough good things about him. He is a good person and excellent at what he does. I highly recommend him, but don't use him too much or else he won't have time to help us for the next project!

I called Steve and left a voice mail and he called me back 4 days later. I told him what I needed done and he came over the same day. He carefully removed an old ceramic towel bar and toilet paper holder to avoid excessive damage to the bathroom wall. He applied a coat of plaster to the 3 areas and said he would come back first thing in the morning to apply another coat. He arrived promptly the next morning, sanded the wall and applied another layer of plaster. Again he left until the plaster had a chance to dry and came back early in the afternoon. He sanded the wall smooth and vacuumed up all the dirt. Then he installed my new towel bar for me.

called back the same day that i called him. was out the follwing day at 10 am, installed the required gfics, was finished in 45 minuts, cleaned up. I was completely satisfied with the work performed and the profressionalism of Steve.

Excellent. He is just what you wish all service men would be. On time, listened to our problem, quickly and competently did his work explaining just what he was doing and what he could do plainly. He was fantastic

Steve is incredibly kind, attentive, and honest. Rather than attempting to get to your job right away and moving on as quickly as possible, he will ask you to wait until he can give you his full and utmost attention, spending entire days or more at the job site in order to get the job done right. He does not jump to conclusions but rather analyzes problems carefully and methodically, and he takes the time to do the job correctly with personal attention, never bringing in someone else to finish the work for him. He was also very kind in undercharging us when a manufacturer's flaw in a part we purchased set the job completion date back. I could not ask for a more competent and reliable handyman and will call on Steve every single time.

I am a retired English teacher and my husband and I are in our late 50's. We have some health issues that make it difficult for us to do some thimgs around our home and truthfully, we are not "handy". In the past we have been so disillusioned and frustrated to have service people in our home who did not know the meaning of "an appointment", did poor quality work that cost us money and left a big clean up afterwards. So I finally decided to join Angie's List. After reading numerous glowing reports about Steve, I decided to give him a call. He returned my call in a timely manner and was interested and concerned about our needs. We set an appointment and he not only arrived a bit ahead of schedule, he called us to reassure us he was on his way! When Steve arrived, we were given the pleasure of meeting a professional and very pleasant gentleman. Steve is compassionate, courteous and such a joy to chat with. Instead of replacing our bathroom exhaust/ ventilation fan, Steve found he could fix it, saving us money. He solved the dilemma with our ceiling fan and gave us tips on cleaning and maintaining the bathroom and ceiling fans. He was respectful and considerate of our home---we had no clean up---he was immaculate! Steve is very honest about what he can and cannot do and he has many years of experience and a wide area of expertise. We feel we found a blessing in our lives when we met him and will be calling him back this fall to help us with various projects. His price was very reasonable. I would recommend this gentleman to anyone who wants a competent, reliable person to assist them in maintaing their home. Steve definitely receives an A+ from this teacher!

I adore him. He is our go to person for when you don't have a husband and you don't have male relatives nearby. He is wonderful. He always does air conditioning and he has done all kinds of things and he even have a book dedicated to Steve with all of the things he has done. I don't want people to know how good he is because I don't want him to not be able to come to me because he is good. He cleans our furnace and he is awesome. I had a sink put in, not by him, with a problem he came and fixed it. I mean he can do anything, but don't talk about him because I don't want everybody to know about him. He is busy enough as it is. He knows how to work. He knows how to think. He is liking a thinking person. He has got skills galore. I would trust him like if he told me something I would believe it. I wouldn't have to go up and google it and try to study it and think as this as right, wrong or whatever. I would use them again.

If he gets the day right, he's very good and he's very good this year. We had a problem with the day, he thought it was one day and I thought it was another day, so I guess, it's just miscommunication. He's very good in calling me to ask and once he was here he did everything I asked in a timely fashion. He's very neat and cleaned. He was here for approximately 5 hours.

I had a very difficult time finding someone one to install a ducted range hood in finishing my kitchen remodel. However, when I called Steve, he was so prompt about coming out to see the job at hand and to quote, he was here within a couple days. He sized up the job and immediately gave me a quote and time frame. The job was completed in one day and he did amazing work, as the range hood was ducted through the roof. He came prepared and knowledgeable to do the job. His price was very fair and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Steve came out right away after I called him. He fixed my chandelier. I had been told by other people that it could not be fixed or they didn't know what was wrong with it. He fixed it for a fair price. He was really good.

I thought he did a good job of checking everything out and diagnosing the problem. He was very reasonable. I actually paid him more than he asked for because he did such a good job I felt it was warranted. He asked for so little and he did so much.

Steve followed up immediately to my first phone call to set up the work to be completed. Steve arrived on time finished the work with excellent results. After using his services it is very clear why he earned the Super Service Award. I will continue to make use of Steve's outstanding skills.

The work he did was fine and the price was reasonable, but I need someone who is more reliable.

Steve is an honest guy and does very good work. I am in the business so I understand how things should be done. He takes the time to explain things and is very friendly. I will definitely call Steve for any future work that I have.

He spent plenty of time answering all my questions and reviewing my options (repair or replace) to ensure that I was truly informed. Ultimately the work was completed to my satisfaction. Steve came highly recommended and I couldn't be happier overall. I'll be sure to use Steve for any HVAC issues in the future.
