Being a new mom who works full time, I desperately needed help giving my home a deep clean. Laura and her team did an amazing job doing just that. There were many areas of my home I didn’t even realize were as bad as they were, until I saw them nice and clean again. Their attention to detail was exactly what my home needed.

Absolutely a life saver! I am a busy mama with two little boys, working more than full time and there are simply not enough hours to keep things up. Laura does an absolutely phenomenal job, is flexible when life happens (daycare germs!) and gets the details done so we can stay caught up. I am immensely grateful for her help and always feel so much more relaxed knowing I’m arriving home to a clean house. Laura is sweet and engaging in communications and is respectful of requests for alternate products (I.e. I wanted my own floor solution with a little one who is crawling). I have tried a few other services and didn’t did that they would do a thorough job like she does. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Fantastic. They always do a great job. I've been using them for close to a year. If things have not been done right, for some reason, I was not charged. In those cases, the owner herself came to clean my house. She did a fantastic job.Great personality as well.

Laura and team did a fantastic job. The house we purchased was, as the cleaners can attest, filthy. The job turned out to be far more labor intensive than both of us originally expected. Although this added to the hours needed to complete the cleaning, the added cost was reasonable. The team worked well into the night to give us a clean home to move in to. We have already recommended We Can Do It For U to our friends.

The cleaning crew was polite and professional. House was thoroughly cleaned and we were very happy with service. We will be continuing with bi-weekly cleaning. Price is higher than other estimates however they are one of the few companies we could find who use green cleaning products. I would recommend to a friend.

I hate to say it, but I'm disabled and don't clean -- and I can't afford to get cleaning people in enough. End result: A panic right before the Christmas holiday. On Tuesday the 15th, I got on Angie's and prepared grimly to call dozens of providers looking for one with an opening. We Can Do It For U was the first one I called, partly because they're located nearby. I got Laura (the owner), and she said she thought she could get someone out on Saturday for an emergency like this. She came by that evening and went over the job thoroughly, asking what I needed done, and gave me a clear estimate. She thought she'd be able to get a crew out, but in the end it was her and another woman giving me their whole Saturday before Christmas. I appreciated that so much! So yes, it did take them a lot longer than some services would have taken, but they cleaned a lot more than the basics. They washed all the window sills, dusted all the bookshelves, got the top of my pole lamp, got the top (and not just the bottom) of the ceiling fan blades, as well as basics like vacuuming and wiping down the table. And that was just in the living and dining room! The crew of 2 cleaned those rooms, the kitchen, two full baths, the master bedroom and a guest room, and the hallways and stairs, spotlessly, in 6 and 1/2 hours. The whole house looks and smells sparkling clean! Honestly, hiring We Can Do It For U was the best Christmas gift I could have given myself. Thank you, Laura!

They sent a team of three cleaners. They work fast and do a great job of cleaning. The vacuumed the floors, dusted all surfaces, cleaned the shower, tub, and toilets, washed the kitchen and bathroom floors, shined up the kitchen appliances, cleaned the inside of the microwave, and used a special cleaner I provided on my dining room floor. I provided the vacuum cleaner, trash bags, and 2 rolls of paper towels as well as any special products I wanted them to use--otherwise they provide their own. The only problem I have had is that I had asked for a written proposal via email outlining the scope of the work. I have never received this in spite of repeated requests. But when she first came out for an estimate the owner outlined what they would do and took detailed notes which the team receives as a work order. We had a few miscommunications at first--I didn't realize they would not empty any wastebaskets inside vanities--they don't open cupboards etc. -- or empty shredders or any wastebasket in what they consider to be an office. But that's a minor thing. If I put the wastebaskets out in the bathrooms the day of their visit they will be emptied. I do think, however, that my having a written copy of the scope of the work would result in less questions back and forth and benefit both the owner and her staff and the customer. We communicate through text message. I am very pleased with the work they do. So far they have cleaned for me three times over three months. Two times I was home at the time and one time I was at work.
Description of Work: I have signed up with them to clean my house on a once a month basis. They provide basic cleaning--vacuuming, washing floors, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, etc.

they were a tremendous help. sent 4 people over who were here for 1.5 hours. they got my disgusting oven/stove completely cleaned & finished the kitchen for me. they also cleaned the dining room & the bathroom & ran a shop vac thru the bedroom to pick up all the dust bunnies on the floor & to clean the baseboards. they just walked in & got the job done. if we weren't moving out of their service area, i'd definitely use them again.

Lora was very prompt in calling me back to schedule a consult for my home. Lora was very quick to get an estimate to me.She stayed true to her word and I had my estimate within 48 hours. When Lora and her team came to my home there was nothing that they did not clean. They actually detailed things that I would never have even thought about. They were very careful not to slide furniture on my new wood floors. I was paying attention to all of them and they just kept working. My house is so clean that they made everything shine. I just love that they took the time to detail everything. Just thought I would let everyone know that if you need a cleaning this is the company to get it from. I was just going to have the one time spring cleaning. Since they made my house shine I decided to hire them to clean for me twice a week.

Not well. Every week there were more and more things NOT being done or done unsatisfactorily. I though perhaps it was our vacuum cleaner that was to blame for clumps of dog hair, dead spiders, lint, etc. being left behind on the carpet. So I had it taken apart and cleaned 2 weeks ago, but each time We Can Do It For U used it they complained to me that it wasn't sucking. Well, 2 weeks ago, after they left, my husband discovered that they vacuumed the entire house on "floor setting" which means that they used it on the carpet without the rotator bar moving. No wonder it didn't pick up! This week they blamed our vacuum again and didn't complete the job. So I got out the vacuum and did it myself. It worked perfectly. I honesty wonder if any of them know how to run a regular vacuum. Even the lead girl on the team admitted that the job was done poorly (as she took a paper towel to the floor, which had supposedly been vacuumed and washed,) and ended up with a new pile of dog hair. She also told me that the guy vacuuming had only been on the job 3 days and that he was her brother. While I was having a calm conversation with the lead girl her brother came through the door and said "We really do need to go." He had NO BUSINESS TELLING ME THAT THEY NEEDED TO GO WHEN I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF A CONVERSATION WITH HIS SISTER ABOUT THE POOR JOB THAT HAD BEEN DONE THAT DAY. She told him twice to "Go get in the car." The other girl on the job stood there and admitted that she was to blame for the pile of dog hair that the lead girl was wiping up with a paper towel in our utility room because she was the one who had washed it. No one was sure if it had ever been vacuumed by "the brother" or not. In fact, the lead told me that she thought the girl who was washing the floors had been "a little off" for the past two days. She even said that she thought that it would be better if she cleaned the house alone as she had been dealing with this kind of thing for quite awhile. In following up with the company owner I shared my views and indicated that I was not at all satisfied and that things needed to improve. The lead person was very open that things were not done properly to the point she suggested she would explore cleaning the house herself. I expressed my concerns to the owner who promptly replied that she would not cash our check and that they would no longer be cleaning our house. This was done through a text message versus a call. It is clear from our experience that they have staffing issues since there was never the same team of people each week. Also clear from this week's cleaning when the brother had only been doing this for a few days. The overall experience has been very disappointing. I was calm in expressing my opinions of the quality of work that was done. I would clearly not recommend them to others. Discouraging and disappointing.
Description of Work: they were "suppose" to clean our house weekly.

Lora and her employees did a great job. Timely first evaluation for an estimate, appropriately priced, quick to schedule and worked around my schedule as well. On cleaning day everyone showed up on time, worked hard, did a great job. Lisa stayed late to get the job done even. Another perk is communicating through email and mostly text, which is easiest for me. Will definitely use again in future!

When I come home back from work I enter a house that sparkles. I have used several cleaning services in the past. This time I can see tremendous difference. This house has been really well cleaned, like never before. Since I contracted their services my house has sparkled. I know how hard it is to clean. This is especially true in big houses. Not one stone unturned here. Everything was sparkling clean. I will use their services all the time.

I LOVE THIS COMPANY. I told Lora I thought they were "miracle workers." My husband and I had fallen behind on all our house work -- I'm currently 7 months pregnant, and I haven't had the endurance to clean the house (I get out of breath all the time). We are planning to list in the spring, so I really needed to find someone who would come in, do a top to bottom clean, and treat it like it were their own house. While our house was not in TERRIBLE shape, it definitely needed a lot of work. I don't think we'd dusted since we'd moved in, and we have two cats and a dog, so things were a little dusty. The house looks like a totally different house -- I cannot believe it. I don't think Lora or her crew left one surface untouched. They really did a phenomenal job, and I think our house will sell very quickly if it continues to look like this. BRAVO and highly recommend!!!

Our house is fairly simple, and we're not overly messy. We have no kids, just one cat (sheds a lot but isn't messy otherwise), and at the time, we had regular cleaning service we were looking to replace. The quote we received was nearly triple what we had been paying before, so we kept looking. Laura was very nice, polite, prompt, and professional, but we can't afford to spend what she quoted every two weeks for our house cleaning.

Lora texted my husband to let him know that there had been some damage to our bedroom wall. She apologized and offered to pay for the repair. Her team tried to move a dresser with all the items still on it, including a $400 amethyst weighing about 20 pounds that was a recent gift. When my husband returned home he found not only damaged drywall but broken jewelry, pieces of the amethyst broken off and the wood floors were scratched. In my office, there was a broken picture frame that was taped back together as well and the broke piece feel onto the floor the next morning, which is only how I knew it was broken. The worst part of this was that her team lied about the extent of the damage. Lora was professional to deal with and submitted a reimbursement check of $700 along with handwritten letter apologizing again stating that "if you could provide me with an estimate for the floor, we would like to cover that as well". It took longer than expected to provide this due to our floors being a custom size and the board needed to be replaced. We opted to have our Handyman rather than our Hardwood Floorman do the work to keep costs lower and it was $300 for the floors. I mailed Lora a letter with a copy of the paid invoice. Three weeks later, I tried to email her, which I've done successfully in the past, but the message failed. I still have a copy of this. Once I received the failed notice, I verified her email on Angie's List but opted to send her a message through the website instead so I could insure it went through. She responded by saying it would go out that week. Sixteen days later, I sent a follow up email stating to please insure it is here by the end of the week, which gave her 5 days, and that this would be the last time I directly contact her before taking other action. While Lora was professional in reimbursing the majority of the damage, I'm still waiting on the $300 reimbursement for floor repair.
Description of Work: Lora and her team have been our cleaning service providers for a few years now. There have been ups and downs with services but we trusted her and were loyal, knowing she's a good person who is sometimes overwhelmed by figuring out how to delegate more and run the business-side of things. Lora herself is great at cleaning but there were times where late at night she would notify us of coming the next morning to clean or times where her team didn't do nearly the job Lora did. Lora was always open to hearing how it went and most of time, it was me thanking her endlessly. Overall, she has a great heart and has committed to customer service but lags in communication at times. Our last cleaning involved damaged items, a dented wall and a scratched floor. Her team wasn't honest in stating all the items that were damaged and for days after we were meticulously checking our items. Lora handled the situation well, apologizing on behalf of her staff and sent us a letter and a check in the mail to reimburse us for the majority of the repairs, until I submitted the paid invoice for the floor repairs. I wrote her an email to check on the status but it returned back to me as a "Failure Notice". From there, I sent her a message on Angie's List where she said she would mail it out that week. Three weeks later, I notified her this would be my last communication if I hadn't received it by the end of last week. I hate to leave a negative review, as it seems Lora was trying to make it right, but I also lost faith on her commitment to reimburse us for the remainder of the damages. Her last message was stating that we knew she was a 1-person operation, which is accurate, and that we should have called or texted. I did remind her, first I tried through her email and when that didn't work I did so on Angie's List message. Three weeks is plenty of time in my opinion, even for a 1-person operation and from her previous responses, she didn't disagree. I'm still waiting on the $300 reimbursement for floor repair.

Response from Here To Help
Let me just start by stating that we have not earned 73 A-rated reviews or the Angie's List Super Service Award 2 yrs. in a row by treating people unjustly or by being dishonest. Considering the law of statistics and probability alone, the more customers we service the more our probability for complaints and/or damaged items will inevitably increase. It’s no different than a customer breaking a glass for every 10 times they wash a load of dishes so I am not that naive to think that we will never have complaint issues or possible broken items, but when we do, I am more than fair and honest about resolving the issue that is amicable to both parties. Customer stated that she tried to email me and it failed, so instead of resorting to sending me a threatening email through the Angie’s List portal to seek further action, I don’t understand why the customer would not call or text my cell phone since this was our normal platform of communication since we started servicing the home 2 years ago back in 2012. According to my email logs, we communicated one time via email back in January 2013. We recently revamped our entire operation with regard to IT matters so we did incur a lot of technical errors over that transition. The only way I know I have Angie’s List correspondence is to physically log into the site or by email notifications and since the customer already experienced email errors, this was probably not the best way to try and reach us. Before I knew all the facts surrounding the situation, I was more than willing to remedy the accident and did not need to be threatened to do the right thing nor did my team need to be accused of lying or being dishonest. If other items were damaged in the event and was unbeknownst to my team, that cannot be considered lying. Why would they lie about a picture frame and a pair of earrings in light of the bigger situation with the dresser, floor and wall which they reported immediately after it happened and sent me picture texts to document the event and those pics were sent to the customer so I’m not certain why anyone is being accused of lying. What is dishonest is that the customer is not willing to accept any portion of “negligence” in that the IKEA dresser from which the dresser-top items fell from was not assembled properly by the customer; Let it be known that it was the falling crystal that caused the damage to the wall and floor. When the team explained to me that when they moved the dresser away from the wall, the entire chest portion of the dresser slid off the barely balanced base that it was sitting on; I did a little research on IKEA.com and found the assembly instructions which showed that the dresser should have been attached to the base because it would be an extreme safety hazard not to; had one of my girls gotten hurt and the dresser fell on them, we would be having an entirely different conversation. We did not do anything negligent or out of the ordinary with moving that dresser; there is nothing negligent about sliding a dresser 2-4 inches away from the wall to get dust bunnies and pet hair from the perimeter of the hard floors and baseboards. We never have cleared an entire dresser to move it a few inches from the wall because it is NOT necessary and we have never suffered any damages because of this practice. When we are specifically asked by a customer to address pet hair removal from their floors and furniture, they are told that we will move things and get under furniture everywhere possible. This customer was no different and was advised; this would have been the appropriate time to make me aware of the dresser. This customer expressed importance of the pet hair removal due to the pet’s recent passing so it was upsetting to have any residual pet hair around. The ENTIRE problem in a nutshell that CAUSED this whole debacle was the improper assembly of the dresser and the customer’s failure to make us aware of it. As for the reimbursement, I have documented conversations between the customer’s husband and myself, VIA TEXT, about what he thought was fair compensation. Had I never been so kind to offer more, we wouldn’t be having this issue 3 months later. Customer: I would suggest 250 for the floor damage as compensation which I'm sure is less than what it would cost to have fixed. The crystal will have to be painted, though it will always be damaged. I'd ask 150 to cover the crystal and the wall damage. That would be 400 which I believe to be fair. There were also a pair of earrings damaged, the jewelry holder, as well as a picture frame in Jenn's office, which could be included in the $400. ME: (before I knew of improper dresser assembly) I hate that the items aren’t repairable because I feel u are getting short changed. .. are u sure u feel 400 is reasonable because I have no problem sending more as we feel awful about the situation. Customer: It's nice of you to ask. I'm sure the real cost is more, but trying not to put you out too much. If you can send another 100 or whatever you can, it would probably help cover things. I'm not asking for the whole 400 that the crystal cost, because I can't really replace it or put it back to new. But that cost 400 and then the repairs to the floor, wall, small stuff like broken earrings, etc. So whatever you can do more than 400 is nice. Thanks for being generous about the situation. I ended up sending the customer $600; I did originally state that I’d cover the floor damage but customer basically stated that it was irreplaceable salvaged wood and was not do-able. The $400 was originally all inclusive, but 3 months later, I guess that arrangement or logic somehow changed. The $600 was originally sent out of our sincerest apologies and regret so I’m fine with that, even if in the end, a court of law deems that the customer is inevitably responsible for the negligence in the dresser assembly. I have been advised by my lawyer based on the following to not submit any further monies to the customer unless the customer feels the breakdown below is inaccurate and wishes to pursue legal action. Final Breakdown: Customer quoted crystal damage = 150. Floor repair w/invoice of work done = 350. Wall patch & paint touch up (no evidence that an outside contractor did the repair so I imagine it was remedied by the customer) = unable to assess cost Misc items (earrings, jewelry tray and picture frame) = unable to assess cost or value The remaining $100 surely covers the misc items and wall patch Offer: • Company paid customer more than what customer originally asked for • Company paid more than the cost of the repairs and customer quoted compensation for crystal damage • No further monies will be reimbursed

Wow from start to finish. The walk-through and estimate process were good. Lora was prepared to answer all of my questions and prepped me on what to expect from them. The estimate was delivered via email so no games of phone tag which is nice. I communicated with Lora through text message, my preferred method of communication and she was very prompt to reply. Our house was extremely messy, but the crew busted their butts to get it looking respectable again. There wasn't any loitering or hanging out gossiping. This crew was here to work from the minute they walked in the door. And the results showed that. I can see out of my windows again, the kitchen floor is spotless, and my bathrooms are immaculate. I signed them on to come back every couple of weeks and from the initial deep clean I can tell I made the right decision. The initial clean cost $700 including washing 27 windows inside and out. The follow up cleanings are significantly less (under $200). We're really satisfied with We Can Do It For U. My wife and I both work and we've had to spend significant time in the hospital with our young son so this is a huge source of stress that has been taken off of our shoulders.
Description of Work: This was for an initial deep clean of an extremely messy 3000 square foot house. In addition to the deep clean, they washed 27 double-hung windows.

It went great! They arrived on time and once getting their assignments from owner Lora went to work. I was working from home that day and requested they start with my home office which they accommodated me on. There hadn't been a "spring cleaning" nor much cleaning at all this year. They leaned every surface, window and wall trim, front and back of doors, all the normal bathroom and kitchen work. Lora and I did a walk through at the end and the couple small items I pointed out she had a team member address asap and to my satisfaction. I'm extremely satisfied with their work and will be scheduling another "monthly" cleaning next month. Lora had visited previously to work up a written estimate. At the end of the cleaning when we went to settle up, they had finished about 30 minutes early. Her policy is if they finish early, she adjusts the quote down to the actual time; but if they take longer than quoted she doesn't charge more. It was a nice "extra" that they finished in less time than the estimate and the price was adjusted down.
Description of Work: Lora and her crew of three ladies cleaned my house as a project.

I was looking for a housecleaning service provider to clean my house on a regular basis. After looking at the reviews on Angie's list, I selected We Can Do It For U to call. I contacted Lora by phone, and left a message. She returned my call approximately a week later. Her outgoing message had given me the option of another number to call if I needed an expedited response, which I did not. So hearing from her a week later was just fine. (I later learned that the end of the month/beginning of the month is extremely busy for her with move-outs and move-ins.) When she called, we made an appointment for a couple of days later. During the call she also gave me extensive information about her service, what it included, cost, etc. Lora arrived promptly at the appointed time and thoroughly reviewed the rooms to be cleaned and talked specifics about how each room would be cleaned, both on the first appointment which would be a deep cleaning appointment as well as going forward. Her visit was at the end of a long day for her, but her energy and enthusiasm for her work did not flag. I liked everything I heard. We talked about the details of my home specifically, and it was clear she hadn't missed a trick during the walkthrough. She told me I would hear from her within a couple of days with an estimate, both for the initial cleaning as well as the every four week cleaning schedule we agreed would work for my home. The information was emailed to me a few days later, and was, again, highly detailed and very clear. She offered me a date of October 10th for the first cleaning, which I confirmed with her. A team of four worked very hard, with incredible attention to detail, and completed the job in less time than the estimate. The price was adjusted accordingly. The work was outstanding. Except for this past year, I have had housecleaners on a pretty regular basis, but I can say that my house was cleaner than ever! I felt very confident from the time I first spoke to Lora that the work would be done professionally and very well. I am definitely going to use her services on an ongoing basis, and feel confident that the quality of work will continue to be great. As far as price, I think Lora has priced her services very competitively and feel that the charges are well in line with the quality of the service she and her crews provide.

Overall it went very well. They arrived on time and finished 1/2 hour earlier than predicted and reduced the fee. When we had a plumbing crisis and were without hot water, Lora graciously let us move the date of service a couple days later so we could get it finished. Lora is amazing at how industrious she is and how well she cleans. No details are missed. The crew of 3 washed walls, floors, light fixtures, cupboards, closets, appliances, etc. Every room came out looking very clean! I would highly recommend her and would not hesitate to use her services again.
