Description of Work: Complete kitchen remodel and floor replacement in entire home. All contractors really worked the entire time they were in the home and did a great job. They cleaned up after themselves, and were very polite. Some of the subcontractors could have asked questions (homeowner was readily available) before completing some of the tasks to qualify for straight A's across the board. All in all, impressed with their work.

Description of Work: We were looking for a bathroom remodel and it came down to two choices; we did not go with Dover Remodelers (for various reasons) but their proposal was high quality and well detailed. Shelly (the designer) did a great job and we have told our friends that Dover is one of the better providers on the West Side.

Description of Work: I asked Dover to come out and quote repair of our Great room that had damage from Superstorm Sandy. We had filed for an insurance claim to cover the repairs. I was surprised to learn when they arrived that they would require a $ 65.00 per hour charge to develop a quote for the repairs, and that if their engineer was involved, his fee would be $85.00 per hour. If they were awarded the job, the cost of the quote would be deducted from the repair. If we got their quote and chose another contractor, we would be responsible for paying this hourly rate for their quote. Even my Allstate claims adjustor was surprised that this fee was required for a quote. We did not go forward with getting the quote from Dover.

Description of Work: Dover was a finalist for our master bath renovation. The reason we didn't choose them was due to really liking the company we chose, vice not liking Dover. We certainly will keep Dover in mind for any future renovations.
