He also gave us safety recommendations since we have some older fixtures. Would recommend him to others, and would work with him again in the future.
Description of Work: Fixed house ground wire, added fan box, rewired lights to switch, fixed some old wiring that was incorrectly spliced together.

+ -1 moreJoe was the only electrical company to say he might be able to locate the break and fix it. The other 2 said they didn't have the equipment to find the break. Joe came last week and located the possible site of the break. I dug the holes and found the problem right where Joe said it might be. Joe returned today with an assistant , Tom.. Joe was very detailed, professional and great to work with.
Description of Work: Repair an underground wire from the house to pole barn, checked the outlets, found one with a bare spot and fixed it, replaced an outside electrical outlet.

+ -1 moreJoe was professional, punctual and did an overall great job with our required electrical service. We needed to put in an additional stove outlet in my in-law suite. The outlet had to be completely installed new, and all the wiring installed and wired to our panel. In addition, once the stove was delivered, due to the configuration, they had to come back and move the outlet to a different location. We really appreciated the great responsiveness and service ANJ Electric provided to us.

Everything was cleaned up after the work was finished. I only paid for the services he completed within the scheduled time. I would recommend Joe and ANJ electric.

THEY WERE VERY GOOD AT CLEANINGUP AND EXPLAINING THINGS AS THE PROJECTS PROGRESSED. WE FELT LIKE THEY WERE ALMOST PART OF THE FAMILYBY THE TIME THEY LEFT - AS THEY ARE VERY EASY TO BE AROUND. THEY HAVE A GREAT WORK ETHIC WHICH IS VERYHARD TO FIND IN THIS DAY AND AGE. WE WILL CONTINUE TO USE THEM - AND RECOMMEND THEM HIGHLY TO ALL!!WE HAVE NO NEGATIVES TO REPORT - ALL WENT VERY WELL!!
Description of Work: WE HAD A FEDERAL PACIFIC BREAKER BOX THAT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED - AS THERE WAS A CLASS ACTION SUIT ON IT -AND COULD HAVE STARTED A FIRE. JOE LATONA WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE REGARDING HIS TRADE. AS LONG ASHE WAS HERE TO DO THIS BIG JOB, WE ALSO HAD HIM DO MANY OTHER ITEMS, SUCH AS PUTTING IN GFCI'S IN THEUTILITY ROOM AND DN. BATHROOM, AS WELL AS 2 MORE ELECTRICAL OUTLETS BY THE WASHER AND DRYER.HE ALSO PUT IN THE UP-DATED ROCKER SWITCHES ON DN. BATH, UTILITY ROOM, AND KITCHEN. ALSO, HE FOUNDA SITUATION IN A CEILING HALL LITE IN UTILITY ROOM THAT WAS IMPROPERLY INSTALLED AND WIRED - HE FIXED THIS.ALSO, UPDATED HOUSE GROUNDING TO CODE. WE HAD HIM CHECK SEVERAL OUTLETS FOR SAFEY, AND WELL AS ARECESSED CEILING LITE ABOVE THE KITCHEN SINK - IT SEEMED LOOSE WHEN CHANGING BULBS. HIS HELPER, TOM,WAS ALSO EXCELLENT!!! HE HAS AN ADDITIONAL SPECIALTY IN DRYWALL AND PAINTING. HE WAS ABLE TO DO ADRYWALL PATCH AT THE BREAKER BOX AS WELL AS A PATCH IN CEILING OF HALL IN UTILITY ROOM. HE WAS ALSOVERY KNOWLEDGABLE RE- ELECTRICAL REPAIRS. THIS TEAM HAS A VERY PROFESSIONAL, CONFIDENCE INSPIRINGWORK ETHIC. we had this team back on 7-17-12 to put in a triple rocker switch in the utility room, and added an outlet in thekitchen that we wanted to make it easier to charge electronic devices. WE PLAN TO HAVE THEM AGAIN TO PUT IN GFCI'S INOTHER AREAS OF THE HOUSE. WE WILL CONTINUE TO USE THEM AS LONG AS WE OWN OUR HOME AS WE TRUSTTHEM AND THE WORK THEY DO. as a side note - we needed them in a hurry re a problem that occurred when a new wholehouse air conditioner was installed - and they came out while the installation was in progress and verified the safety of thesituation. we e-mailed and called - left a message on their phone - and they responded quickly. it's hard to get this kind ofquality service these days. we are extremely happy with this company, and recommend it to all!! He fixed the problem quickly and efficiently and even checked our AC unit outside since it was also not working. He said it was another issue, but to have the AC guy call him if they had any questions. This was a great experience and the charge was very reasonable. I will definitely use again!!!!

+ -1 moreThe job went better than expected. I called four different companies the week of June 29th. All came out and took notes on the job. ANJ was the last company I called, and the last to come out. However, they were the first to respond with an estimate when they said they would. I am still waiting for estimates from two of them. Joe gave the dates he could do the work and we agreed on a day. Joe showed up exactly on time and we discussed how the job was going to be done. He stared work and kept me informed on his progress. Joe constantly cleaned up any mess that was made right away. When the job was done, I reviewed the work and realize that not only did he do exactly what was quoted, he also included additional breakers in the box that I had expect to have to purchase on my own later. Throughout the entire day that Joe was here, I was impressed by his professionalism. I also appreciated that while he was given permission to place holes in wall if necessary to run the lines, he took the time and effort to work around that wall and only cut a one hole in a ceiling that was already scheduled for repair.
