I was very pleased with Pence Bros. throughout the entire process. When I called about getting an estimate.....they came over that day and provided a written estimate before they left. I ended up getting three estimates for the job and really made an effort to stay very consistent from contractor to contractor about the extent of work that I wanted done. The Pence Bros. estimate was by far the most proffessional (including all of the items that I wanted done and nothing more) and the most reasonble. After I made the decision to go with the Pence Bros., I called to schedule the work. They came back out to the house to finalize the contract that day and picked-up a deposit. We discussed scheduling the work and I was told it would most likely be 2-3 weeks. Two days later they called me up and asked if they could start the next day. The next day they showed up with a crew of probably 6-8 people at 7:00 AM. The crew was very organized, professional and polite. Several of the crew members seemed to have one job, keep the sight clean, as they worked all day picking up debri. The others were craftsman, the work looked great even beyond what I imagined. The work continued throughout the day and the biggest part of the crew didn't end up leaving the job site until about 7:00 that evening. This was a proffessional operation from start to finish. I would use them agian in a minute, as I felt they listened carefully to what I felt needed done, made recommnedations that were reasonable and within my budget, and performed both shcedule wise and the way in which they performed the job (craftsman) above my expectations. I would not hesitate recommending them to anyone. My house looks great and I really appreciate how well I was treated.

understanding and thoroug with explainin everything they would need to d to make the house look like we wanted to make the house look like we wanted it to. both owners were on sit helping the cre and answering our questions as we had our rep. and took care of our house as it was and took care of our house as it was their own and als to hire them for other jo due to their goo due to their good work. I would recommend Pense Bros remodelin job. I will definitely hire them going forward to do any work on our home..

My boyfriend had called several people as I had given him a list of roofers and Pence Bros Siding said they could be out within a few days and they were the cheapest, so we went out and it turns out that by the time I was pulling in my driveway coming home from work that day, he had stopped by and had already done it so it was really quick. He was a very nice guy and I highly recommend them for future use.

They were prompt, friendly and hard working. I definitely have the best looking house on my entire block - and to prove it, I was awarded the Akron Beautification Award in July 2012!! Every day Jon would take me around the house and show me what they had completed and ask for my opinion. He allowed me to be very hands on in the decisions. What impressed me the most about this company, besides the fantastic work, was that they would gather in my driveway every morning before they began working and say a prayer. Awesome!! Jon even stopped back by my house last summer after the hail storm to check on the siding. No damage at all but I would have definitely let him do any repairs had they been needed. Would recommend The Pence Brothers every day!!!

Top quality and very professional!

Due to damage caused by a hail storm some work was needed on my home. They came out and worked with the Insurance company to determine what would be covered by insurance. I had requested and was given advance notice of work dates, so I could make arrangements for pets. All work was done within the time frames given and they worked in all the extras I requested. The workers were all friendly, prompt and answered any questions I asked. They made suggestions when I asked for an opinion, but did not try to be pushy. The house looks great and it was a great overall experience!

In March of 2009, the Pence Brothers-John and Jeremy with the help of Chet-bid out our roof replacement. Even though their bid was one of the highest bids we received, we liked their professionalism and responsiveness. They completed the job on time and on budget. We have a hip roof with a valley and a turret, and it isn't the easiest job to do. (So we were told by many contractors). The Pence Brothers actually pulled a guy off another job just to come in and do our turret because he was "the best" at tricky jobs. The only negative in this experience was that where the shingles came off the roof (down a tarp) it seriously injured the bush under it....I don't know if this could have been avoided because we have flowerbeds surrounding our entire home. The bush is starting to recover, but it has taken over three years. Since the roof replacement, we had a freak rainstorm that came in at such and angle that the water bounced off the roof and went under the siding. The brothers actually got a garden hose up on the roof after trying without success to find a leak. With the nozzle on the hose, they finally distinguished it was siding related, they removed a 10 foot square section of our siding and applied a rain guard fabric, replaced the siding and didn't charge us a dime! It was truly a blessing because we had extensive damage inside that needed repair. This spring we had a section of fascia come half way down on a windy day. They came out within a few days and tacked it up, ordered new fascia that closely matches and replaced it within a week....that cost $150. A few weeks later we had a raccoon family take up residency in our attic. They quickly came out, fixed the soffit and made sure no animals would be able to return...that also cost $150.
