I know my review is long, but PLEASE READ IT! This is the place you should go for ANYTHING kitchen or bath related. I had nothing but an amazing experience from beginning to finish. The amount of options they had for both quartz and granite was amazing compared to the dozens of other places we looked. Their showroom is huge! Mary worked with my husband and I in the salesroom and was so kind and patient. I came in on a Saturday to look and she sent me a quote the immediate Monday. When we came in to sign the contract we had a few questions about the installing that she didn't know the answer to, so instead of leaving us with unanswered questions, she reached out to the installers and had an email answer to us within a day. From the date of signing the contract, our countertops were installed within 3 weeks. At other places we were quoted 2 plus months if not longer. She followed up multiple times throughout the entire process to make sure everything was running smoothly. Even the immediate day after install she reached out to ensure everything was perfect. She even helped us submit a change of order request when we added more backsplash than originally ordered. The installers were more than wonderful the day of. We have an accent brick wall and they needed to remove some of the brick in order to shift our countertop down slightly, so that our stove would fit in place. They removed about 2 rows, and on the corner I was worried about seeing part of the wall underneath and it looking odd with removing a whole brick. So, the installers went the extra mile to cut/chisel my brick ever so slightly into an "L" shape (See photo) that way the countertop slid right into that area without removing the entire brick. They didn't have to do that, and I know it would have been so much easier to just remove the entire brick, but they went above and beyond to ensure I was happy. They were out cutting in the rain, and were at my house for about 4 hours because of the brick. They were extremely friendly the entire time and cleaned up after the job. You would have never even known they were there. I was extremely worried about this job, but from start to finish everyone was extremely friendly and helpful!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! is my recommendation. I would never recommend anyone use these unprofessional liars. They installed our granite countertops and placed a huge epoxy spot where the stone had been damaged front and center in our kitchen. I spoke with Kathy about how unhappy my wife and I were with the company’s job on our granite countertop installation. The company installed the countertops on Wednesday, March 4th. They missed their initial installation window of between 8-10am, and we were not notified. It was only after I called to see where their team was at 10:15am that Kathy told me they were going to pick up our sink in Youngstown and would be there between 11-1, but she would call me after she spoke with the driver and give me a more exact time. Well, she never called me, but they did make that window by showing up at 12:59pm. After they installed the countertops and left, my wife and I noticed a few issues, aside from the lack of communication. First, we noticed a 3in x 2in yellowish spot in the front of the slab between our fridge and stove. Upon a little closer inspection, it was a spot filled with epoxy, rough to the touch, and a huge eye sore. We inspected the rest of the counter with a fine tooth comb and could not find anything remotely close to that epoxy spot. The rest of the counter looked completely normal. Second, something dripped white spots all over our front walkway. My wife tried to scrub them out, but had no luck. Third, we found the sink is not square in the cut out. Fourth, the hole cut for the faucet wasn’t perfectly centered. It was off by over ½ in. I spoke with Kathy about all of this the day after, 3/5/20, and she tried to tell me that all stones have epoxy in them. So, we went to the show room floor because I wanted to see another slab with an epoxy spot. We walked around for 5-10 min, and she could not find one. I took her card and told her I would be in touch and send her the pictures. The next day, 3/6/20, I called back and spoke with Kathy, told her how unhappy my wife and I were with the counters(the epoxy spot, in particular). I requested that someone from Canton Cut Stone or Sims-Lohman come out to assess the counters. My wife and I want the epoxy spot gone, removed from site, slab replaced…whatever it takes. The company would never allow a spot like this in their model kitchen. She stated she would pass along this information to George. I then sent her the images so she could pass them along to him. I did not hear from them for over a week. It was only because I went to the store and confronted them that they scheduled someone to come out to our house to look at the stone. One of their workers came out and looked at the countertop on 3/17/20 and agreed that it was a poor epoxy repair, but that he could repair it to the point we wouldn't know there was anything off about the stone. They "repaired" the epoxy spot on 3/19/20. The worker that came out was pleasant and did, probably, as much as could be done to the spot. The company has still not checked in to see if the repair was satisfactory. If anyone would like pictures of the original epoxy spot on the stone they sold us and installed and after pictures of their "repair," please check the google reviews. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING!!! is my recommendation

Three years ago we hired Canton Cut Stone to add counter tops to our newly refurbished kitchen. Their selection and service at that time was great. They had a great selection of marble and worked with us to select the one we wanted. It was installed professionally and we were happy with it. They also installed an undermount sink. At the time we asked them about it dropping out and how it was attached. They said they would stand behind the work and it was epoxied with clamps to the underside of the granite. Fast forward three years to when the left side of the sink dropped down about two inches. I discovered that the epoxy clamps had broken loose from the granite. Went to Canton Cut Stone with the old clamps. Was told there was only a one year warranty on the workmanship but they would be glad to send someone out to repair it. The cost would have been about $300 for service call and reintallment. I asked if this is going to happen every few years and was told they cannot control how the sink is used. Was told people have stood in the sink and then wanted a repair. I am 70 years old and standing in a sink is not something I would do! I decided to forgo their service and fixed it myself with a few screws and some pieces of wood. It is as good as new and will never drop out again. The method I used was exactly the same way they had mounted the right hand side of the sink initially. I have no idea why they used epoxy and clamps on the left hand side. I would not recommend this company. They will not stand behind their work after one year even though they told us not to worry a about the sink falling out. Thank goodness I haven't had s major problem with the granite. This is one of the problems in our country: poor workmanship at a high cost and the greed of companies. $300 to do a 15 minute job that I as a homeowner could easily do! Ridiculous!

We reserved a slab of granite from a company in Cleveland that was supposed to be transported to Canton Cut Stone. We later got a call from Canton Cut Stone that the Cleveland company had sold the stone we had tagged and we would have to make another selection. This was very unsettling because we had been searching for the perfect slab for over 3 months and finally found it. There were 6 slabs available and we had chosen 2. When we called the Cleveland company they informed us that they had called Canton Cut Stone several times telling them that they needed to pay the deposit or the stone would be shipped to another warehouse for sale. They showed me the details of the phone logs with times and dates and that there had been no response from Canton Cut Stone. They held it an additional 4 weeks and finally shipped it out. They informed me that the granite slab had not been sold at all and was available in the Pittsburgh warehouse where they had shipped it. We made a road trip to Pittsburgh and found the exact slabs that we identified from the lot number we had written down in our original selection. So, did Canton Cut Stone lie to us?? If we were able to locate the slab in one phone call, why did they tell us it was sold?? We think they messed up and didn't want to have additional expense by shipping it from the Pittsburgh site. We don't know for sure but we felt we were lied to. After all that, we didn't want to go through any more hassle so we picked 2 new slabs as instructed. When we got word that the slab was coming in, we requested to view it before they cut it. They called and told us the time to be at the warehouse to see the slab as soon as it was unloaded from the truck. Wanting to verify that it was the correct slab, both my husband and I took off work to be there. Well, apparently the driver had gotten lost or something and we ended up waiting 3 hours ( missing a half day pay for nothing). We didn't complain because they had just moved into a new facility and mistakes happen. They did call the driver several times and kept us updated. They were polite and apologetic so we just went with the flow. The truck finally arrived and everything finally took a turn for the better. While we were there they took the time to template out the slabs and work with us to make sure the final look was exactly what we wanted. They nailed it on the first try. Installation went great. They had to carry these ttremendously heavy pieces up a set of stairs and did it without a single dent or scratch to our walls. How? I don't know but they were really huffing and struggling doing it. They were professsional and worked hard to make sure everything looked fantastic. We couldn't avoid having a seam but they matched the pieces so well that you have to look hard to find it. The snafus we encountered might have been related to the chaos of moving into a new building. We go by cost and end results which was fantastic. We would definitely buy from them again. Oh, and even though we weren't grumbling at all, they reduced our price to compensate for our long wait on the truck. This was unexpected but a great gesture and left a positive impression. I would definitely recommend them. I just wish they would have admitted they made a mistake or tried harder to rectify it. I may not have the whole story so will give them the benefit of the doubt since the final results were so great. They did a flawless job.
