Do NOT hire these people! My HVAC ductwork is under my slab foundation. They did not use a camera to guide them when they drilled holes in my foundation so they drilled a hole in my HVAC ducts and filled my duct work with their cement slurry. I did not discover this until last winter when my furnace was short cycling. I thought my furnace was broken so I bought a new one. When they installed the new furnace they found all the HVAC ductwork leading from the furnace was filled with their cement slurry. Since then they came out, found 2 areas where the ducts were blocked, unblocked one and said they would get back to me with a plan to unblock the 2nd blockage. Since October I have left text messages, phone messages and emails and they have not returned any of them.

Whenever I called, they answered promptly, and were very informative and patient. They arrived promptly and answered all questions. There was a miscalculation/ misunderstanding on how many slabs to be lifted. Everything was done at no additional cost. I used a coupon.

Everything went well. The quote was given when the carpeting, paneling and woodwork was still up. When the job was performed all of that had been removed and the sinking was worse than first thought. The previous owner replaced the doors and fireplace while the floor was sunken so you could not raise the floor to the original level without causing further damage to the outside walls. I understood that and accepted that and so they went to work to raise the floor as much as they could without damaging the house. The crew was very knowledgeable and friendly. The owner was on site working and was the one who gave the quote. Everything was explained well and the did the job the best they could. I am happy with the job the did and the cost of the project.

Things went as well as they could have gone. Parts of the house were refinished while the floor was sunken and if the floor was brought to original level these items (doors, Sliders, Fireplace) would have went through the ceiling and damaged the rafters. The crew was very knowledgeable and knew exactly how far they could go to improve the floor without damaging any other aspects of the room.

Did good job of getting all leveled. Cleaned up well on completion. All according to estimate. Total cost $900. Honored $75 coupon presented when invoice was completed.

They gave my an estimate of $850 while other companies estimates were a range depending on amount of material used. As soon as the holes were drilled the price jumped to $1500, which was far higher than the other companies. They did an adequate job. The hole filling and finishing wasn't perfect. They did honor their coupon. I'm sure any of the other companies would have done just as well. Job was completed in 2 hours.

They answered the phone first time, arrived for an estimate on time, and turned in the lowest bid. They did the job for the quoted price. They left no mess. We paid them and then later realized we had a coupon and hadn't used it. They honored it. Would recommend.

I called the vendor and they took my information and said someone would call me in a few days to come out for an estimate. I did not hear anything for approximately 2 weeks. I called back and gave them my information again. Same thing...no response for about 2 weeks. I called back the third time and explained what I had experienced. Finally, someone did call me. I had missed the call from the estimator and tried calling him back the same day. I left a voicemail and did not hear back from him for several days. They did finally come and give me an estimate. After the hassle of trying to work with them, I looked for another vendor. I found someone else who was much more responsive (next day) and half the price.

Needed several small slabs lifted. They did a great job, cleaned up when they finished and the price was right! I would definitely use A-1 again and recommend them to friends!

Friendly and courteous workers did a fine job , although they couldn't get a few slabs perfectly level because their sawing tools were limited .

They were fantastic. They explained to me what they were doing and it was very cool to watch them. The price seemed high but they did a great job and it didn't take very long. They came two days after we called to set it up and I am very satisfied with them. They obviously knew what they were doing.

We called them about the holes and no one responded. My husband ended up doing it himself. In 2009, we hired them to raise the drive-way again. We went with them again because they had the best price and a warranty. Everything is holding and looking great. We were not home when they did the job so we do not know how they were on the job. It did take them a while. We are happy with their job and we may call them again if their price is right.
