We love these guys. They are efficient and always helpful with generous suggestions and advice. However, during our recent service, the language used was a little offensive. I have a home office and it was difficult to do business while they were hear. To be fair, we did not disclose that business was going on in our home. Regardless of who is in the home, professional language should be used at all times - especially when you don't know who can hear you.

I will continue to use this company. I moved into a new home and the previous owners hadn't kept the fireplace cleaned. This company cleaned an unbelievable amount of "dirt" and also spent significant time fixing a component to my flu. They were timely, personable, professional and more thorough than I could have hoped. Please know the COST of this is off the cuff given it happened in December. I recall the cost was extremely reasonable. Don't use my estimate as a guid.

I have used New Breed Chimney Sweeps 3 times at 2 different homes. They are always professional and the owner is extremely knowledgeable as to how things are supposed to work and what codes and regulations should be followed. At one home I had no idea how to operate the gas log fireplace & damper as I had never used one. The owner took the time to test it and explain how to operate it . This took an extra 45 minutes because he had to get the air out of the gas line. I was not charged any extra for this service. Someone sharing their expertise and being a good person! New Breed has won me as a customer for life!

They were very punctual and the service called when they were on their way, which was very helpful. The price was as quoted and they cleaned up everything before they left. These guys seemed to enjoy their work, which I thought was refreshing. They were also a local business, which is important to me.

It went well. My husband was home when they came and was very pleased with the service-they were punctual and cleaned up the mess. The company called the day before to confirm our reservation. My first time using Angie's List and was pleasantly surprised.

They were very prompt - came when they said. Did the job and left no mess. Three men came and they inspected the chimney from the inside and the roof. Price for inspection and cleaning was $145. The chimney cap and installation was $150

He's a very busy man, but was very responsive to our call. He came to our home to check our chimney and install a new wood burning fireplace. He was not able to complete the service due to the type and condition of our chimney, but gave us some great advice and alternatives.

They're very professional, they're on time and I used them over the last 10 years and they're really reliable, and they're well trusted.

Gave an estimate of $4000.00 to repair. I made a second call to another chiminey repair company for another estimate. The owner of the 2nd company came out. He has been a union mason by trade for 40 years. He does major construction work a well as residential work. I found him in the phonebook under chimney's. He gave me an estimate of $975.00 to repair. You read that right, 3.5 times less than New Breed quoted. This quote Included, tear down clean up and materials. He said the cracked flue is a common issue in our area. New Breed charged over $100 to come out and give an estimate. The company I called gave a free estimate. Not sure if New Breed is incompetent or just figured they had the purchaser and I over a barrel with a pending house sale, either way I would stay away from them with any job. The new owners and I split the cost of the 2nd estimate. Be very careful if you use them, and get a second estimate. They performed no work other than a visual inspection of the chimney, so I can not speak to the their quality or workmanship.

He spent about forty five minutes looking for the model number off my free standing fire place so I could look up parts for it. He did not have to do that. He really went above and beyond. The owner and his assistant were very pleasant. They came out right away and did not track anything into the home. They were all very polite and professional. I would definitely recommend their services to other people. I would have them back for sure.

Overall my fireplace is in great shape, it is clean and neat...the chimney is now debris free.

Very friendly person on the phone for scheduling the service. I called to confirm a day before and they called me back like 15 minutes later to confirm. On the day, they arrived on time, they were very careful not to soil the carpet and did an excellent job. He explained what he was doing and why and gave advice on how to use and take care of the chimney. I was very please with the work and the service. I would definitely use their services again. I think the price is reasonable.

From the time I called Tammy at New Breed Chimney Sweeps concerning raccoons in my chimney until Tino and his crew finished the job, I was treated with the utmost courtesy and compassion. The work was scheduled promptly and I was called when the crew was on the way. Tino thoroughly explained every thing he was going to be doing, then the fun began. Smoking a reluctant raccoon proved to be very interesting. After the exit of the raccoon, the crew started to clean the fireplace and gas logs while Tino capped the chimney. Tino came back inside to finish the flu and he saw a piece of fur, pulled it and it move. Lo and behold there was another baby raccoon hiding behind the draft. The little raccoon was finally removed after quite a struggle. Our fireplace looks beautiful and it is very reassuring to know that, with the chimney cap, we won't have any more raccoons. Everyone we dealt with at New Breed Chimney Sweeps was very nice and professional. We would definitely use their services again and gladly refer them to our friends.
