 + -1 moreExcellent service as always. Josh has always been the one who shows up, and he does a great job. Friendly staff, price cannot be beat, and my spider population has been cut to near-0. I have them spray several times a year, as does my family.

Description of Work: I had termites. They did the spray treatment and drilled holes around the inside of my basement to do chemical treatment. The treatment should last ten years. I was told if I got any back in a couple of years they would treat it for free. The owner came and did the treatment. He said that people he treated 12 or 13 years ago are calling him back now, so it really is good for ten years

 + -1 moreTwo men set up sensors and heat treated the rooms. I thought the cost was reasonable because they stayed all day monitoring the equipment. Subsequently to the treatment, they carefully inspected the rooms and they were very professional.

 + -1 moreThey came out to treat the wood we had in our garage and they put this sincricon system in to check for termites, this was in 1999, I took that out in 2011 just because we never had termites again. I recently had them come out again to spray for spiders.

They know what they are doing and in fact, if they can find a solution to your problem that doesn't involve them, then they are generous with that information. They are very responsive, they come right away. They are honest, reasonably priced and they are professional. They know their business and they are just good and easy to work with.

 + -1 moreWe only had them once and they said that it would be good until fall. We might have to have them again and then maybe once more and then every year or two after that. They were very effective and they did a very thorough job. We were very pleased with them and they were reasonably priced. The quality of their service was very good. The stuff that they used was obviously poisonous because it kills bugs and we stayed in the house during the application and that was a mistake. I recommend that poeple and pets leave the house if they can because my wife has gotten a bit of a sinus infection because of that. But I do not blame the exterminators because that was our fault for hanging around.

 + -1 moreKurt (Joy Exterminators) sprayed the house for general insect control. He explained the process before he got started and gave me the opportunity to ask questions. When I went back to the house two days later the spiders and centipedes were gone. I would have given all A's except the ladies who answer the phone at the Joy office didn't seem to know much about anything when I called for information about scheduling, maintenance plans, and pricing (they said I would have to ask Kurt).

 + -1 moreI pay yearly. I had termites but they exterminated them. They now put the bait in and just monitor that every month. They were very prompt, local and friendly. They were reasonably priced.

 + -1 moreI have had wood stacked up against the garage and apparently there were termites in the wood and then made tracks up the garage which I had noticed and called them out. They came and put in a Sentricon Termite Colony Elimination System. They caught a few termites that had got into the garage but never around the house. But later I had them contracted to come out and do checks every month and now they come every other month. I cancelled the contract in 1999 because I never had any termites except near the garage. The Sentric system cost me about a $1000 in 1999 and they would charge me $200 for coming out for regular checks every other month. After that I have had them again once, just to spray the spiders outside the house. Their price was reasonable. I would use them again in the future if I needed.

Description of Work: I paid another exterminator to get rid of the roaches in my kitchen. The only room they were in. A small infestation. That exterminator sprayed on two different occasions however there was no reduction in the number of roaches in the kitchen. They wanted to try again and charge me again. I refused to pay them anymore money and in fact got my money back. I had Joy Exterminator in to rid me of my problem. When I told them I had got my money back from the other exterminator Joy did not want to have anything to do with me. They told me to wait a few weeks and the roaches would go away. I did and they didn't. Joy did not want to work with someone who had received their money back from another exterminator. My conclusion was that they would just do the same thing - spray a couple of times and then offer to fog for a much higher fee. He told me they cannot guarantee they will get rid of the roaches. They why hire them?
