Description of Work: I have had VanCuren trim numerous trees in the past. I called in early June to schedule the trimming of some trees. While there was a quick response by Mike S. to provide an estimate, my immediate approval of the work upon receiving the emailed estimate apparently went astray. After not hearing anything for three weeks, I called and asked about the scheduling to trim the trees. At that time I discovered that my approval had been overlooked. I was told that the work would be scheduled. I called the office again after another three weeks and was told that the work needed to be scheduled by the estimator, Mike S. I waited again. I made numerous calls to the office in the effort to connect with Mike S. Despite repeated promises to have Mike return my calls, nothing happened. I was then told by the office that they serve busy with "city work" . I never heard from Mike S. I called another company to do the work and will not call VanCuren again.

Description of Work: Van Curen Tree Services removed a huge ash tree from a very inaccessible location on our property. Since there was no way to get machinery into our yard close to the tree, they had to use a 185' crane and a cherry picker from two of our neighbors' driveways on the street behind our property. We were very concerned about any possible damage to our neighbors' properties and about the cleanup afterward. |Their large crew did a remarkable job of removing the tree. There was absolutely no damage to any property or plantings. The neighbors remarked on how clean they left everything at the finish. | |Courteous and professional from start to finish. I would use them again and recommend their services to anyone.

 + -1 moreVERY PROMPT SERVICE. I RECEIVED AN ESTIMATE WITHIN A COUPLE DAYS OF MY REQUEST AND THE WORK WAS COMPLETED WITHIN A WEEK AFTER THAT. THEY REMOVED ALL THE CLIPPINGS AND BRANCHES, AND CLEAN UP WAS COMPLETE.
Description of Work: THEY TRIMMED AND PRUNED TWO VERY LARGE RHODODENDRON BUSHES AND MADE THEM MUCH MORE MANAGEABLE. THEY ALSO REMOVED A DEAD ROSE OF SHARON AND DEAD BRANCHES ON SOME BORDER SHRUBS.
