Everything was fine. They did a good job. The first time they came out, it was just one guy and they found that the roof was too steep so they had to go back and get another guy and that took a couple of weeks, but that was no problem.

They were professional and personable.

I needed a kitchen counter replaced in a rental property. Greg removed an old kitchen counter and built and installed a new countertop. I was unable to oversee the work, so 100% of our communication was done via email, phone calls and texts. He answered all my questions and responded to voice mail messages on the date and time he stated. It is refreshing to work with a contractor who follows up and does what they say they will do. Responsiveness is very important especially when conducting business long distance and I was not disappointed. He arrived on time, cleaned up and left the kitchen in excellent condition, my tenant vouched for that. I asked for before and after pictures for my records, he sent pictures of the original counter and pictures of the finished product. I am very pleased with Greg's work and professionalism and will definitely call on him again in the future.

They were prompt and did great work. Both people did a good job and cleaned up after themselves.

A plumber referred Greg to us. Greg was always prompt, polite, very respectful, dependable and quite knowledgeable. The entire crew was organized, friendly, very neat and respectful of our home. Greg would call each day as he was en route and he would check with us at the end of each day to see if we had any concerns. He was very flexible as he allowed me to add on small things along the way. We were hosting a holiday gathering and needed the downstairs to be presentable by the 18th of December. Greg met this request. Because of the excellent quality of the work completed and because of his calm demeanor, we plan to use Greg for future home projects and we are telling our friends about his work.

The work Greg has done is unbelievable. My home was built in the 1930s and has beautiful architectural features. It has belonged to my family since it was built, so I take great pride in it. Greg's workmanship is excellent. He is very considerate. You would not be able to tell that repairs were even made; His repairs blend beautifully with my home. He has good ideas and suggestions, and the people he hires are all excellent. I usually hesitate to recommend any contractors to anyone, but I feel confident in referring others to him.

Greg was referred by a plumber. He called me back immediately and came out to do an estimate within a day. He and his employees were entirely dependable, responsible, respectful, prompt, and helpful. They were neat and clean, and always left the area as they found it. Greg called at the end of each day to check in with me. I am totally thrilled with my new bathroom and would recommend Greg and trust him with any project.

I first had a plumber come in to evaluate the problem. The plumber recommended I have the shower sealed and grouted as a possible solution, since he did not do grouting, I called Greg who responded the same day. He completed the work in two days. I am now continuing to observe for further leakage, and may need further repair work, but I was made aware from the beginning that the grouting may not be the solution.

Great Lakes Home Improvement did a great job. Greg came out took a look at the bathroom and started with an estimate. Because we were unsure the route we wanted to go he helped us step by step. After the estimate was presented they were able to start the work with in a week. There was alot of detail invested in this bathroom and they did a great job by showing off the character. I can honestly say that they do great work and are a honest bunch of people. Thank you so much.

When I called, Greg was able to come out and give me an estimate the next day. I was in a hurry to have him start before an upcoming family event and he was able to start the next morning. He did a better than expected job on both assignments. Both jobs turned out nicer than I had expected. The custom access panel (in a bathroom) was a perfect fit, and he even matched the frame of the panel to the door frames that were already in the room. It looks like it was put in during the original construction of the house! The other job, in the basement, is just as professional. He matched the color and texture perfectly.
