WASTE MANAGEMENT

In April 2021 on a Monday morning when the WM trash pickup always took place, our mailbox was hit, knocked over, and damaged. A local construction crew saw the WM truck hit our mailbox. I called WM to report the damage, expecting them to replace the mailbox. They sent out a local inspector to look at the mailbox, and he asked for the phone number of the construction crew supervisor, which I provided. I heard nothing from WM for almost three months. Finally I called their customer support line (waiting 20 minutes for a rep), and found out the WM says their truck did not hit our mailbox. I have received no information about how they came to this conclusion or why. The construction crew WITNESSED the truck hit our mailbox. This is frustrating and irresponsible of WM. If I had any choice in trash pickup I would immediately switch to another company.

I was having a big picnic at my house on July 15. I was going to get it for five days the previous Friday. They were going to pick it up Wednesday. Friday, come 5 o'clock, it was not here. When I called them, it was like their drivers were too tired and they couldn't come out. They didn't work on the weekends and they wouldn't rectify the fact. So, they wouldn't bring it out till Monday. But, they would leave it there for five days. I told them, "No. I needed it gone that Wednesday." I had it on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. They charged me for the full five days. So, I actually went to the Better Business Bureau. They did get me half my money back. So that was okay. I would never, if I need that kind of services, go with Waste Management again.

First and foremost Waste Mgt is tooooo expensive. As a contact for my church their guy was nasty and acted like a moose. For some reason their drive changed the way he was picking up the church's dumpster and the weight of the vehicle began to damage our parking lot. Because of the cost and the previously mentioned issue they became very nasty. I will never recommend this company to anyone. As for my residential service. They charged way too much for monthly pickup SO they were voted out! just say no to green !

They are very clean, professional

They do a good job and are very reliable. They are here every week. It is nice when it gets done. They turn the cans upside down and put them to the side.
