We live on a busy road and wanted to create a safe place for our new puppy to play. Living in the country, we decided that we wanted a fence that would fit into the general look of the area, but it needed to be safe. We felt that "field fencing" could meet those requirements. Rod came out to look at the space and take measurements. He asked questions about what we wanted and helped us decide on the best fence options to meet our needs. Unfortunately they are so busy that we had to wait a couple of months for our fence to be installed, but that was to be expected so we tried to be patient. When time arrived for installation, Rod contacted us and arrived when he said he would. He and his crew were polite, professional, and respectful of our property. This was a slight challenge with the large equipment used for post driving in wet conditions we had for the first work day, but they did a great job, and I consider myself to be very picky! Any post that was going hear the house, or in a place where they might have encountered our septic plumbing pipes, was hand dug for safety. There was a slight delay in getting the actual wire fence, but Rod kept us informed and it eventually arrived. During the fence install, it was discovered that a section of the end of the wire roll had been damaged at the factory. Rod contacted them and they are going to send a piece to fix that, but in the mean time Rod put up some (very sturdy) temporary wire panels to cover the 5 foot section of fence that was incomplete, he also used these strong panels to build some barriers to gap the space where the posts and house didn't quite meet. This type of care and attention to detail is greatly appreciated. The fence itself is HUGE and STRONG! Probably way more than we need for out little Poodle, but we wanted him to be safe. I really like the look of the fence, and how in some light it almost seems to disappear, yet it looks good and will serve it's purpose for many, many years to come. We could have gone with a couple of different people to do the fence, and actually a couple of the quotes were slightly lower, but we felt that Rod and Spring Meadow would be a good fit for us, and we are very happy with our choice. UPDATED TO ADD: Rod kept us informed about the wire needed to fill the space left because of the original damaged wire. He then sent his team back over to get it installed the day after it arrived. They exceeded all of our expectations and were helpful beyond what we originally expected. We'll be calling them back if/when we have any additional fencing needs.
