Samson Concrete, L.L.C., (originally G&M Concrete) was established in 1975. We are a Christian-based company that puts God first and operates with integrity and honesty 100% of the time - something that is almost unheard of in the construction industry. We use only the best available materials on every job. We are fully insured and provide proof of this insurance and workers compensation coverage , as required by the state of Ohio ,with every proposal. Our services are available Monday through Sat 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. We accept cash, checks, and most major credit cards. At Samson Concrete, we give our customers 110%, 100 % of the time. We serve all of Central Ohio and beyond. I am a second generation concrete man. I began working for my father's concrete company when I was in high school. They performed a good service and I like the way they did the work, it looks good! They sloped the work down well since it was higher than my neighbors before they started. It looks wonderful! They made it so the water does not run down my yard to the sidewalk anymore, no water will lay on the sidewalk anymore either.
Description of Work: They tore out the old sidewalk and apron to my driveway and put down new and and stone.

They never showed up and never bothered to call. I wasted my time with them. Very disapointing.
Description of Work: I called Samson Concrete to get a quote for pouring a relatively small concrete pad. I acknowledged up front that the job was small and that I would understand if they had no interest. They clearly indicated interest, took my contact information, and promised to come by the job site the next day and give me a quote. I had been down this path with other companies and decided to try Samson Concrete because their website claimed that they were a Christian based company.

Im sorry that I'm not perfect and sometimes forget when very busy. Had you called and reminded me I certainly would have came out. Just because I'm a christian does not make me perfect by no means and I still sometimes forget. I'm sorry.

They said they would come out on a Wednesday for an estimate. They never showed. I waited until Friday to call them back. I was told that I would receive a return call that afternoon, but they didn't call until Saturday morning. At that point he brought up the fact that he would have to charge travel fees to come as far as my home. I felt as if he was trying to talk me out of using him. This combined with the unresponsiveness led me to choose not to use this company.
Description of Work: called for an estimate on removal of a concrete patio.

I TOLD THE CUSTOMER, SINCE SHE WAS ABOUT FORTY SOME MILES AWAY IT WOULD PROBABLY BE CHEAPER FOR HER TO USE SOMEONE LOCAL BECAUSE I WOULD HAVE TO CHARGE EXTRA FOR TRAVEL. I WAS JUST TRYING TO SAVE HER MONEY.

GEORGE, HAS BEEN IN THE PROFESSION FOR ALONG TIME, ONE CAN JUST TELL THAT. HE REALLY SAVED ME BECAUSE I ENDED UP HAVING TO COMPLETE MY CONTRACTOR'S JOB, AND HE CAME OUT IN TWO WEEKS TO FINISH THE CONCRETE WORK, DESPITE THE BUSY TIME OF YEAR. OUR PORCH DRAINS WELL, AND WAS DONE WITHOUT CUTTING CORNERS (REBARS, EXTRA WIDE STEPS, A CAP TO MATCH THE OLD PORCH, A SOLID FOOTER). ALTHOUGH IT WAS A TAD MORE EXPENSIVE THAN I FIGURED IT WOULD BE, I WAS HAPPY WITH THE OUTCOME.
Description of Work: PUT IN BACK PORCH WITH THREE STEPS. REPAIRED, AND CONNECTED FRONT PORCH WITH NEW ADDITION.
