+ 0 moreI had Gutridge Plumbing come to my home to provide me with an estimate to have a tankless water heater installed. The employee showed up on time and was knowledgeable about the process and answered my questions. The employee came on 08/22 and told me he would have an estimate completed and e-mailed to me by the end of that week, or early the following week. 2 weeks later, I still had no estimate. I reached back out and asked if he had completed my estimate, and he never responded. Guess they don't need my money! Hopefully their service and labor isn't anything like their accountability.

Description of Work: I had this company come out and give me a quote to install an upfluish toilet in my basement and they originally quoted me a price in writing of 250 dollars. My basement has unfinished access to all drains and soil vent as well as water lines. When I was ready to begin work, I had them come back out and give me a new quote as I wanted to also install a sink at the same time. This time a different person came out to provide second quote as the first person was doing something else. When I received the quote the price was 4 times the original quote which is amazing. Installing the sink is half or at worst an equal job of the upfluish toilet and yet the price went up 4 times instead of 2 times to 500 dollars. I have tried a couple times to get some explanation but have not received a valid answer yet other then the person who gave me the second quote says he has no ideal what the first person was thinking. This isn't good enough. They are both represwntives of the company and they should honor the price or work with me to come to an agreement as I do understand mistakes do happen so I would work with them on a price.

+ 0 moreThis was a non-emergency job and they were prompt to come out for an estimate and were able to start the work shortly after we selected them. They were thorough in their estimates, sketching a diagram of the existing lines in order to accurately estimate the cost. Other plumbers glanced at it and threw out a number. They weren't the cheapest, but weren't the most expensive either. The guy who did the estimate was pleasant and professional and answered my questions. The young man who did the work was also professional and respectful. The work was completed in one day, and was done exactly as expected.
Description of Work: Replace cast iron waste lines in crawl space that serviced two full bathrooms and a laundry room.

+ -1 moreprovide video scoping of sewer line for house purchase. 2 men had to scope from roof vent . after video scoping, they stated line looked ok, but they never provided a video tape or cd of the sewer line as evidence. I called and ask for one, and they never returned call or sent copy of video, if one even existed. So , bottom line, I have no idea if the line is good or bad.

Description of Work: They removed the gas pipes and shut off the line for my fireplace. He converted it to a wood burning fireplace.

Description of Work: We are remodeling (enclosing) a back porch into a room (knd of a Florida room). We needed a vent free gas fireplace gas line installed and called Gutridge based on other reviews. The line was installed, fireplace hooked up and tested.

+ -1 moreThe leaky and loose sprayer problems were fixed quickly. The Gutridge representative advised me that although the sink was in backward it was too risky to remove it since it was sealed very well to the counter top.
Description of Work: Gutridge Plumbing fixed a leaky faucet and loose sprayer in our kitchen, fixed a leaky toilet and loose handles in the bathrooms. In one of the bathrooms the bathroom sink was installed backward.
