today we had duct cleaning done throughout the house by Caleb and once again I am very happy with the results and the service. Another hardworking professional who cleaned up after his work was completed and answered any questions I had. Thank you Caleb!

Wish I could give 0 stars. Steer clear of this company, their employees work on commission and so won’t be looking out for you, only their pockets. We had an issue with our furnace and they were supposed to be here between 12-4. They didn’t arrive until 8 pm and the tech didn’t do anything other than check for carbon monoxide. After stating we had 200 ppm according to his meter he shut off our gas for a safety issue. He then told us he could fix several issues but that it would be almost as much as a new furnace so we needed to purchase a new furnace. If we had that much carbon dioxide we would have been having some health issues for sure. We were then charged $199, for what I’m not sure because he did nothing. We called Houston plumbing and heating for a second opinion and they had two meters that they used to check for carbon monoxide that both read 0 for 30 minutes. They replaced a part and all is good. The charge was almost the same as what dormar charged us to do nothing. The whole thing felt like a sales tactic (similar to rotorooter) as he told us we could finance. We asked for our money back and a very aggressive man called and said he will not refund us and he has “everything I need for court”. If you want an honest company that is not just a money hungry scam I advise you to look elsewhere.

We were provided excellent customer service from the service tech (Rick) who came out to look at our air conditioner. All our questions were answered and everything was explained in a way that we were able to understand. We were told exactly what was wrong with our old air conditioner and the different options of either fixing it or replacing it. No pressure. The instillation team arrived promptly Chris (and another tech) when they said they would and even sent a photo for added security. I work from home so I was worried about distractions and background noise. I hardly ever heard them. Everything was cleaned up before they left. A very professional team. I would recommend this company to my friends and family.

Stay far away from this company. I had them come to look at my ac and some duck work I needed done. Well they come out supper fast hey great. Well they tell me I need a new unit. Okay mine was old made in 1988. So the tech on site quotes me $9500 4 a 4 ton unit and simple duck work. Well I had more questions and they sent a supervisor to my house. He trys a used car trick. Called his boss says some cheesy lines and the price drops to $8000. I ask how long I have to make the decision he says I need a answer today. So I argue and he gives me ten days on the quote. Okay well I Google the unit and I can go buy it for $2000 at Home Depot. The service man calls me the next day and I ask him what the extra 5 grand was for and he couldn't tell me. So after we get off the phone he a sales man from the company calls and tells me he can now do it for $6000. Hmm why does the price keep getting lower? So I call Rightway Heating and Cooling and they quote me $5000 for the entire job right from the start. And their unit came with a better warranty. So I hired Rightway and they had the new unit installed the very next week. No issues. STAY FAR AWAY FROM DOR MAR THEY WILL TRY TO TAKE YOU FOR A RIDE.

Last night our furnace went out and based on the great reviews I called DorMar. They were highly responsive - Wes came right out this morning, fixed the issue and we're warm again! This is my new 'go to' company for all HVAC issues. Super service - thank you!

I arranged a convenient day to install the new system, and the techs showed up that morning. Steve Hixon and his assistant, spent the day removing/replacing the furnace located in my garage attic, and the a/c unit located outside my condo. They were friendly, helpful, and answered all my questions. Unfortunately, the new Coleman a/c unit as shipped from the factory, was defective. It had to be replaced with another new a/c unit, which caused a 7 day delay in getting new air conditioning. Lucky for me, that week was cool, and the a/c was not needed. And the new furnace worked perfectly from the start! A minor glitch appeared with the new a/c: there was too much refrigerant in the system, which caused the a/c to periodically shut down. But a Dor Mar service tech quickly identified the problem, and the new a/c has functioned perfectly since then. My new heating/cooling system included a new programmable Wi-Fi thermostat which allows you to check and change the status of your home system from anywhere you might be, using an app on your smartphone. I've adjusted my condo temperature, both heating and cooling, several times from a distance. It's a very nice feature to have! I found all the Dor Mar personnel that I had contact with, from Steven Brewer on down, to be professional and helpful. The price I was able to negotiate was a reasonable one, given the high-end nature of the units. And I also got a five year service maintenance agreement included in the purchase price. All in all, I am very satisfied with the Dor Mar team!

Tech/Richard Leighton came out to my house on 10/8/15 to do the yearly maintenance on my oil furnace. Over the past few months I had noticed that the furnace wasn't putting out warm air and the smell of fuel oil was very strong. I called a different company in April of 2016 to check out my furnace. The air gates were set incorrectly and the nozzle hadn't been replaced causing the oil to build up in the furnace and not produce heat. My furnace needed cleaning because it was so clogged with soot it wasn't producing warm air. The nozzle and oil filter also needed replaced. Repair total was $424.36. I emailed copies of the receipts from the repairs and pictures of my furnace before the cleaning.Since the other company repaired my furnace it works just great. After several conversations with owner-Steven Brewer (over a months' time) he refused to reimburse me for the repairs from the damage caused by his tech-Richard Leighton. His reason is that the tech who did the repairs isn't licensed-even though he is insured and bonded by the state of Ohio. He is also claiming my furnace has other issues that caused the soot build-up. I've never had problems with it before his tech screwed it up. I take very good care of my furnace as repairs for fuel oil furnaces are quite pricey. I then placed a claim with the BBB. Through the BBB Steven Brewer offered to refund the original service fee of $150. That was 6 weeks ago. Still no refund. I emailed Steven Brewer with no response. He is not an honest or trust worthy man. Do not call this company!

They came out and fixed my AC in less than 30 min. They came out and fixed what another company had messed up. They were prompt and very professional, I will use them for all of my AC needs.

Their service has fine. They are always on time and the price was good.

Dor Mar provides excellent quality service. They planned their appointments around my schedule, rather than making me conform to theirs. Best of all, they worked with my insurance company to get my new AC covered, saving me $4000. I will never go with a different company for heating and air repair.

As stated above; checked the furnace, thermostat, and air conditioner. Cleaned condensor on AC and added two and a half pounds of Freon. My unit is 11 years old and I asked him to give me an estimate for a new furnace and AC unit. Eleven year old may not seem that old, but all of todays units are more energy efficient that the ones I have installed. He was very patient asked a lot of questions and suggested what he thought were the best units available for my needs and I was surprised that the costs were much better than I thought. Price: While I'm s tight wad when you consider the absurd cost of Freon the total cost was not that bad Quality: High, in my opinion Responsiveness: Considering this time of year and the back log most companies of this type have I can't complain about it. Better than most. Puncuality: Right On Time Professionalism: Very Courteous, Very Professional. Came in and got right to it and was done in no time. It is obvious to me he knows what he's doing.

Everything was perfect. They were very professional. My utility room is a mess and they worked their way back to the system without issue. They fixed a broken drain while they were there as well.

Existing furnace had been misfiring for a while and would not stay on. Dor Mar came out and discovered several issues including a split in the wall of the heat exchanger that was leaking carbon monoxide into the house.

Wow, what a wonderful company. This is the second time they have rescued me. They came out two weeks after my furnace was installed when Complete Air Systems, the original installer, missed three appointments. They came out the same day, replaced the transformer, very professional. I called them last night at six, they were out here at nine this morning, replaced the transformer and wiring. They are so professional, the bill was a fraction of what I was expecting since the furnace is no longer under warranty. They will be my go to furnace guys for as long as I live in Central Ohio. They did not put in the right thermostat as a result I had trouble with my furnace. Once they installed the correct thermostat, I have not had any problems since.

My A/C went out on 7/6/2012, it was running but not cooling the house. I called 12 different repair services and Dor-Mar was one of only (2) that could do same day service (The other was Martin Systems Inc.) The technician was on site within 4 hours of my original call. There were some minor issues but the A/C was fixed non-the-less. Price: B rating because the new motor seemed over-priced ($200.00) and because they wouldn't even schedule my appt without me agreeing to an $80.00 inspection fee. Quality: A rating because there are no issues with work quality, everything is working fine. Responsiveness: A rating because they were able to offer same-day service on one of the hottest days of the year Punctuality: A rating for same-day-service, and technician called 30 min prior to arrival to make sure I was there. Professionalism: C Rating. I had to give the technician some plastic zip-ties/wire-ties to keep the wires of the motor from hitting the fan blade. Also the shaft of the universal motor he supplied was too long, and would not fit. So he also had to borrow my Saw-Zall to trim the shaft down so the motor would fit inside the compressor. Good thing I have a decent tool collection.

Richard did a thorough job investigating the problem of why the burner would not come on. He explained to both of us why the tube had clogged up and what to do for that in the future. He completed everything in a professional manner.

They were very easy to work with and are very professional. They are very reliable and on time.

This man, Bill Dohn, is a gem. Quick, responsive, experienced, knowledgeable, friendly, efficient, reasonable rates. He came out on virtually a moment's notice on a Saturday to rescue us from our non-functioning AC unit. This was at the beginning of a heat wave when I'm sure his services were in high demand. He found that the unit was low on Refrigerant, loaded it up, checked the resulting air temp generated by the system to make sure that it solved the problem, gave me some good-sense tips and pointers about running the system and things to look out for, took my check an was on his way. In the next few days, a new problem cropped up: the heat-exchanger fan motor started to die, over-heating and shutting itself off long before the house temp reached its intended setting. I rang Bill up. Even though he was dealing with a bunch of other customers at the time, he helped me diagnose the problem over the phone. I went out and purchased the replacement motor myself, and through a series of phone calls, he coached me through the installation process. The unit runs great now. I cannot say enough about this guy. As long as I live in this area, he will be my Heating and AC maintenance/installation provider.

They called on day of appointment to confirm time, arrived on time, listened to us describe the issue, asked questions, inspected the system and gave us our options. He was very considerate, professional and friendly (even picked up leaves from the floor that his boots brought in).

Professional and polite. The price was very reasonable for the amount of travel he had to do. I would highly recommend.

They installed a motor on my furnace and AC. They arrived in a timely fashion, got the job done quickly, and left after they finished. They did an excellent job and I'd recommend them to anyone.
