OUR UNIT WAS NOT YOUR AVERAGE BOOKSHELF -- IT TRULY IS A FIXTURE IN OUR HOUSE AND THE MAIN FOCAL POINT OF OUR GREAT ROOM. DAN WORKED WITH ME TO GIVE ME EXACTLY THE DESIGN I WANTED, INCLUDING BEADBOARD SURROUND AND LARGE CROWN MOLDINGS. HE STARTED THE PROJECT WITH PROFESSIONAL DRAWINGS AND BROUGHT US WOOD SAMPLES TO CHOOSE FROM. HE TAKES THE SMALLEST DETAIL SERIOUSLY, WHICH MAKES YOU, AS A CUSTOMER, FEEL VERY CONFIDENT. AS FOR PRICE... I'M CONVINCED THAT THERE IS NO WAY ANYONE WOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO BUILD THIS UNIT FOR US FOR AS LITTLE MONEY. I TOLD DAN WHEN I WANTED IT DONE, AND HE HAD IT DONE THAT DAY, AS PROMISED. I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT HIS WORK. DAN HAS MENTIONED THAT HE WILL DO A VARIETY OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS -- NOT JUST WOODWORKING.
Description of Work: DAN DESIGNED (FROM THE DESCRIPTION IN MY HEAD) A 3-PART BOOKSHELF WALL UNIT, BUILT IT, INSTALLED IT (INCLUDING ELECTRICAL REWIRING AND PREP FOR SURROUND SOUND), AND PAINTED IT WITH A SMOOTH OIL-BASED WHITE FINISH.
