+ 1 moreExcellent work. We discussed any problems or issues as the project moved along. Downed trees were put where required, dirt moved off site by trucks as needed and good topsoil retained for later use. Good advice given on various grade changes, driveway widening, gravel usage, etc. Overall a very good experience, but digging and moving dirt is costly. But I got my money's worth out of this project more so than the previous sewer line repair.
Description of Work: Cornerstone did a large excavation of an area in which I would build a 48' x 30' pole barn. The company is considered the best at this type work and even though I had other quotes at much lower costs many of them bothered me as I knew the project required a lot of dirt to be moved out of the area. The equipment brought to the job site was all up to the task and sized to do the appropriate jobs. (Required two large dump trucks two full days of short run hauling to take the excess dirt away.) Ground was finish to proper grade and made a good site for the Bar. They returned numerous times as needed to do finish up work, such as adding gravel, underground drains for the gutters, parking pad for a trailer, some tree removal and a final widening of a driveway area. Span of time was over about 11 months, with major work occurring in Dec '08/Jan '09, with follow-ups based on a need for dry ground done in Mar' 09, July '09 and Nov ' 09.

Description of Work: Cornerstone Development did excavation work, did the sewer line work and replaced the gravel driveway. He does a lot of underground work.
