A friend at work highly recommended Matt Handwork as an excellent installer of furnaces and air conditioners. Matt's estimate was the lowest I had received and seemed very knowledgeable about the various brands. He said the brand wasn't as important as the quality of the installation itself. He had worked mostly with York, Goodman and American Standards as suppliers, but would install any brand I chose. Matt and crew got it all done in one day. He came alone in the morning and began disassembling the old furnace and A/C before the new furnace was delivered. The furnace and A/C have performed great ever since. And I like the new digital controls. This replaced the house's original50 year old Janitrol with Honeywell controls - I was due for a new furnace. Matt also informed me of the opportunity to claim 30% of the cost of the furnace for tax deduction purposes and itemized a receipt for that purpose. I was very impressed with Matt's communication skills and professionalism.
Description of Work: New furnace and air conditioner installed. Old ones removed.
