Materials estimates were very accurate which meant fewer incidental trips to the lumber yard and no material to return at the end of the job. Aaron is also a boat builder and the attention to detail required by that craft comes through in his construction projects. Visible joints that would normally be lapped were mitered to protect end-grain and improve appearance. All lines are straight, square and plumb making finishing work easier. He seems to have a thorough knowledge of good construction methods and best practices.
Description of Work: Built a 400 sq. ft. guest house / studio with a covered porch from plans I provided, added a shed roof to the back of a garage and built a small deck extension. Also engineered and installed a solution to a trouble spot on the house where rain water was rotting the T1-11 siding.
